This is a mom and pop cafe. Good to great service and outstanding food. There I was on a 3 stool counter joshing with the waitress and knocking back some icey beers, well that's the shittz. The po-boys are huge, red beans and rice, the mac 'n cheese was the best I've ever tasted. Buttery, cheesy, and toasted golden brown.
The gals that run this place are too cool and the price is just right.
Geaux Tigers!

I didn't eat a proper meal here, but a dozen or more of the folks I traveled to Louisiana with sat here for two or three hours one night, sampling the various (delicious & huge) deserts and drinking. I think another half-dozen or so held down the outside patio area. I'm not certain, but I'm fairly certain that they held the place open extra late for us. The waitresses were quick, friendly, and kindly conversational.

This place had the widest selection of Abita beer (the local brew) of anyplace that I went to or ate at while in Louisiana-- something like 6 varieties on hand.  And we tapped their entire supply one night.  When supplies began to seriously dwindle, and it was apparent that we were not done with the night, the waitress offered to have someone run out to the store to get more. We thankfully declined, but it was such a good gesture.

Hospitality.  It goes very, very, very far.
