Out of sheer necessity, I was looking for a place to crash for a snow trip to Bear Valley. The Angles, CA chamber of commerce website steered me over here.
The night clerk was very kind and answered all my questions about where to get a drink and the best way to Bear Valley.
The free Internet works great (as you can tell if you're reading this) and the rooms are spacious and comfortable, with big beds, plenty of room for snow gear, and plenty of room in the shower to dethaw after a day at the snow.
The one minor complaint is the 17" LCD TV that is very small, but I didn't come here to be holed up. In fact, why am I still typing? I'm going to go get a beer. Later.

Everything was great there except maybe the little new LCD Tvs and the non-smoking rooms that smelled strongly of smoke

This was clean and comfy place to sleep.
The gentalman that checked us in was very nice and helpful.
