Amazing service at great prices!
Everyone I have spoken to there has been very professional and helpful. They keep my information on file so all I have to do is call and say it's me and my package is delivered on time every time.
We business folks all see messengers of all different sizes and shapes, some lazing around, some slowly peddling, some fast....and then there is GODSPEED.
BEST OF SF 2009. Why Even Read on. The public has voted. but read my particular story. It will give you insight into the company.
Here is a perfect example. I call in a delivery (already have an account) that was an emergency. I had a high priority tech client that needed a new laptop like RIGHT NOW. I called and ordered the laptop through the Apple Business Team, and they said it would be waiting with a business team member near the front door. I told the apple store to label it "GODSPEED Hansen Technical Consulting." Apple screwed up and didn't label the box.
Here is the good thing. Godspeed called me to verify it was the right box. I told them (after verifying the specs of the computer) yes and that I was in gridlock at Fell St. I will try to pull over and wait at a specific address. The guy on the phone, Brandon, said wait...what are you driving? I told him a Silver Jeep Wrangler Rubicon with the top down. He said what block are you on right now? I told him that I was still gridlocked due to an accident. about 4 minutes later a guy on a racing bike, shows up and hands me a laptop and says see ya next time and tore off.
That delivery in itself sold me for life. They actually are bike riders..or racers. Not sloths. If you see one of these guys sittting around it's probably because they are waiting for a legal document to get signed or something.
I will never go with any other Courier service. They saved my ass. I would have had to park somewhere in Union square, run to the apple store, run back to the Jeep, and then speed to this client and I would have failed at the promise I made him. He is a Surgeon and needed a laptop so that he could access critical client data off of a backup because his other computer died. I wish I could give them 6 stars.
I only use them a few times a year, and every single time without fail they are WONDERFUL. I LUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUV Godspeed.

Clearly they love what they do, and they love helping people in need.
They are nice as can be from the guy who answers the phone and takes my information down to the courier.
Before, I used Cupid but after a horrible experience with owner I switched and I'm so glad that I did.
We chose this company purely on the coolness factor of the name. "GODSPEED COURIER." How can you not like that name? And upon further inspection we found the company to be a local, owner-operated business that charges reasonable rates, and even has a race team. A courier service that has a race team? Okay, they might be fast and that definitely bumps up their coolness factor another notch, but are they reliable? Well, we called, they picked up, and then called and confirmed delivery. Fast, cost-effective, reliable, no b.s., and most importantly cool. Simple as that. GODSPEED!

I can't recommend these guys enough. My courier needs are very random and sparse and yet every time I call Godspeed I am treated like a Gold Star member with a million dollar account.
The folks here are super down to earth and operate with an old school work ethic and respect. When they do a job for me, I know it is already done. It really takes the edge off when you are juggling dozens of responsibilities all day long to KNOW that your work is in safe hands.

I cannot tell you how many times Godspeed has saved my ass. If it weren't for their speed and professionalism, I'd have to deal with a whole lot of angry people.

Godspeed is the only messenger service I've ever used, so I have reservations about calling them the best. And yet I have no inclination to try anyone else and I'm quite confident it's impossible to find anyone better.
The guys are always so friendly and helpful. Even though I'm sure they have hundreds of customers they remember me every time I call. They are super friendly and very prompt, professional and reliable. Yay, Godspeed, you get my vote!
I think a friend of mine works for these guys but he's not on their website. I think he likes being under the radar.
I haven't actually worked with these guys but they took over for my beloved Theresa's so they must be super friendly, helpful and fast.
The only difference, perhaps, is that Theresa's was a bunch of super cute, some even super hot, GIRLS delivering packages and that certainly brightened my day whenever I had to send something quickly.
Guys, if you are employing the ladies from Theresa's, please, put their cute mugs on your site!

Never had a problem, and they are always on point and on time. They always remember who you are and where you are located. Great messenger.
Oh my god (speed), I love these guys.
They consistently save my life on a freaking daily basis.
WSI has four corporate offices around the city. One in the Marina
(also known as "Cow Hollow"), two in the FiDi, and one in the Mission -- not to mention stores around the city that I am constantly having to rape of product...and for that I apologize, and I am always having to send things all over the place to all kinds of people.
Always friendly, these bike riding warriors know my name, my extension, my department number, and almost always know who I am sending stuff to.
They've yet to fail me. Plus they sound seriously cute on the phone.
I think God must be speeding them, because they are damn quick. I am talking pick-up and delivery with a car in the FiDi within two hours. On a weekday. Nice.
I worked with Curtis to coordinate the job and he was quite friendly and professional. Great customer service experience.
Sadly I didn't get to interact with any of the sweaty, muscular, incredibly hot bike couriers that I am reading about in other reviews. Damn the large heavy boxes!
These dudes are fast and reliable. Even if they seem a little stoned when you call, don't worry. They always totally have their shit together. They have those nifty walkie talkie phones too, so you can call any of their cell numbers and they can dispatch the order. But the main number works well too.
The other thing I dig about them, versus other messenger services I use at work, is that if you've called a few times they know who you are. With other services I have to say my name and account number Every Single Time, which only adds to the soul crushing banality of my nine to five existence. But with Godspeed, they're like, "Hey Megan, man, what's happening?" and they know exactly where my package is and where it needs to go. That's my favorite thing about small business.
Godspeed rocks my world. They always answer the phone, and know exactly who I am, they pick up and deliver promptly, and are HOT HOT HOT messenger boyz to boot!
Honestly, what more can you ask for in a messenger service?

I love these guys! I've been using them for the last 7 years and have never been disappointed. They are extremely fast and reliable. Whenever I call in for a pick up or delivery, they seem to know where it's going before I even tell them. I'm so sold on these guys that will never use another courier.
I've used Godspeed for years now and still love them. I don't think I've ever had a delivery problem. They're customer service simply can't be beat. SO helpful and friendly. Great company with great messengers.
Thank the new Summer for yelp and for me being able to find a reputable courier and request a pick up and delivery within 2 minutes and have the delivery occur within 1 hour!!!! Woohoo, a bad start to my weekend was avoided!!! Ladies, you're right, these guys are great, thanks for the reviews!
The girls at the office keep ordering bike messengers for things that don't really need to be sent urgently, or by a handsome, well-toned, glistening with sweat bike messenger... Wait, nevermind.
FAST. EFFICIENT. SUPER COOL. Can find navigate through the most obscure places. Need a delivery? Godspeed is it. Man those bike messengers have the most ripped calves.
Very fast very nice. I'm using them for the foreseeable future. Picked up within the hour and delivered soon after with no problems. Highly recommended.
