jodie came highly recommended, and my partner and i are so happy we found her. could tell in the initial consultation that she is professional, thorough, trustworthy, and above all, kind, loving, and attentive to animals. it's a bonus that such a good petsitter is also so affordable. we were really happy with her services when we left for the weekend, and we'll use her again lots. it makes leaving Sammy (our adorable dog) behind when we go out on pet-unfriendly adventures more bearable. Sammy probably won't even notice we're gone in Jodie's care.

I did not know what to do since I was new to town, just moved here from Washington D.C., and I was worried about finding someone to take care of my weiners. Ya, laugh all you want but this was a serious issue.
I contacted a few pet care professionals (well, not all of them were professional) and had a chance to talk to 'Jodie' who said she was the owner. I was so impressed with her professionalism and most of all kindness. She visited my home in order to meet 'the weiners' and had me sign the necessary paperwork. One of the things that impressed me the most was the fact she is licensed, bonded and insured and this is her full-time business. My dogs loved her instantly, so I agreed to have her take care of them while I was out of town. Jodie wasn't aware of this, but I was able to check in on my dogs while away....I caught her singing to my dogs..how AWESOME is that! I think my dogs were upset that I wasn't gone longer. I LOVE Go Fido Go and think that Jodie is great. I will never use anyone else & HIGHLY recommend Go Fido Go to everyone!
Prior to using Go Fido Go, I usally boarded my dog, but after using Jodie, the owner of Go Fido Go,........I will never have to have my pet boarded again! If you are looking for someone to watch your furry friends while away on vacation or at work you need to call Jodie today! Her prices beat any kennel or boarding facility. From my initial consultation back in December of last year, I knew that Jodie was the right person to watch my dog Jake. I don't feel worried or anxious to get back home while I am away because I know that my buddy Jake is being loved and cared for.

Initially my girlfriend found Jodie and her company Go Fido Go while searching via the Internet. After watching how professional, dependable and genuinely caring towards all animals Jodie was, I met with her in hopes of obtaining her services. She and my dog really seemed to hit it off and thus I also began to use Go Fido Go whenever I needed someone to care for my dog while I was on a "no dogs allowed" type excursion. From the daily text messages she sends reassuring you that your dog is doing fine and is in great hands to how carefully she follows eating times/walk schedules,etc, I'd recommend her to anyone. I really doubt there's a better combination of services, price and overall love for what she does than Jodie and Go Fido Go.

She is a really nice and sincere person. I found Go Fido Go here on Yelp. I was hoping that she did business in my neighborhood but she did not. Instead of writing me a short message saying no I do not come to your neighborhood she did something really nice. She took the time to write me a lengthy message complete with things I should look for in a qualified sitter, places to check out, and sites to find good qualified sitters that do this for a living full time. She recommended her competition. I contacted other places as well and not one even bothered to do what she did.
If you are on the fence about needing a sitter and who you should go to be assured that she is great. Sometimes you can just tell if a person is a good egg. She is a good egg.

Go Fido Go is more than a pet sitter, they are a true friend to my dog. Butch loves the extra attention he gets from our favorite concierge Jodie. I know when I go out of town that Butch is in good hands and if I have a question or want to check in I can always call.
I am starting to worry that Butch looks forward to me leaving as when Jodie arrives he always wags his tail! I recommend Go Fido Go to everyone, the customer service is fantastic, the owners truly care, and the prices are reasonable.

I am new to the San Diego area and needed someone to watch over my pets while I was away for a long weekend. I looked on craigslist and found about a million different people that provided dog services. A friend told me about a friend of hers that started Go Fido Go catering to those who are less than comfortable leaving their pets at a kennel.
I had a great experience with Go Fido Go. Everything was taken care of and I could tell the owner was a true pet lover. She also has all the credentials that many other pet sitters do not have. She is licensed and insured as well as bonded. Her prices are great and she is lovely to deal with. I could not be happier with her or Go Fido Go. The number is 619-298-FIDO.

Our 2 year old black lab is the center of our life. As one might guess, she requires a lot of love and attention. When we leave town and can't take her we with us, without hesitation, we call Go Fido Go Pet Care & Concierge.
Go Fido Go Pet Care & Concierge has an impeccable reputation and comes highly recommended. Jodie is incredibly responsible and professional. There is no one else that we would trust to leave our dog with.
Bad Owner Story: Once we made the mistake of having a "good friend" come over to feed and check on our dog. Unfortunately our dog escaped due to not enough attention and separation anxiety.
Go Fido Go Saves the Day: Within minutes of calling Go Fido Go, Jodie set out to recover our dog that had been found roaming around the neighborhood. She found our dog, called us to let her know she was safe, and took her home. We were relived and returned home to find our dog safe and sound thanks to Go Fido Go.
Recently we went out of state for a weekend had Jodie watch our dog. The first thing she did was get our travel details, the dog's feeding schedule, veterinarian and ER veterinarian contact information, etc... She offered to stay at the house with our dog. This was above and beyond the call of Pet Care & Concierge service. We were truly impressed.
When we got home it was obvious our dog had Jodie's full attention while we were gone. We walked in the gate and our dog acted as if we hadn't even been gone. As parents this made us a little sad, but at the same time we know that she had received excellent care thanks to Go Fido Go.
Go Fido Go Pet Care & Concierge provides an absolutely spectacular service. Rates are extremely reasonable. I would trust Go Fido Go with my best friend any time. They treat your pets like their own.

Jodie has been more than a pet sitter for our two beagles. We have a 5 year old beagle and a 5 month old pocket beagle, who is currently having digestive issues. Jodie has been a wealth of knowledge and comfort to us. She has gone out of her way to give our pets the best of care as well as provide us with resources and information to help us get through a difficult time with our puppy. I feel a great deal of comfort knowing that Jodie will be at our house during the day to give our dogs the love and attention they deserve while we are at work. I would recommend Jodie and go fido go to anyone looking for someone to care for their pets. Jodie's is a business that truly cares about the pets AND the pet owners.

jodie is fantastic. i left her with my kitties for 6 days recently and i now never have to worry about anything ever again if i want to leave town. i have only lived in san diego for a short time and haven't had to find a sitter before but now i can go on trips whenever i want and feel good about it. plus i talked to many local professional sitters that service normal hts but many were asking for several more dollars per day. i was so happy when i came home and found that my babies were fine and happy. she got my mail and left it in a neat pile on my coffee table. she switched lights off and on through my place day by day so people may not realize i was gone. also, she's really nice and her husband would be her backup in case of an emergency AND he came over for the initial consultation and i liked and trusted him completely also. i thought i was in good hands from the beginning but honestly you never know, right???? well, i was right and allowed me to have a stress free vacation. also, she texted me messages to say that everything was fine with the babies, that everything was working out. i really appreciate her. can't imagine having to every look for anyone ever again! if you want a personal reference, contact me and i'll answer any questions you may have.
