One of the worst experiences I've ever had at dealership trying to work with the salesman, David. Already bought one truck from him in the past and went back to him as a second customer and he continued to push me off saying that he was busy. then I asked to speak to the manager or the GM he continue to say that they were either off And then another day that they were too busy to talk when I asked for the GM or owners email he says that they do not allow them to give that out. What kind of GM does not want customers feedback. When I left a message for the GM sales manager or anybody to call back on the voicemail and by email he was obviously correct because three days later I have still not heard back from anybody. Don't waste your time with Polk.

The Glenn Polk Ford service center took amazing care of my car and got it in "tip top" shape before it was ready to drive and take home! I am so grateful they took such great care of me and my vehicle. We had a wonderful experience and highly recommend using them for your Ford needs!

I've been buying vehicles for 40 plus years. One of the most irritating purchase experiences I've ever had. Practically no willingness to deal, then, screwed me on the value of my trade. The guy I dealt with was one of the biggest PITA's I have ever encountered. I would get tired of no movement on their part and would tell them "no deal" and move on to look at something else at another dealership, and then, I'd get contacted by them telling me they'd be willing to deal more. Then, when I'd re-engage, they wouldn't budge. The idiot salesman would then start telling me crap like where his wife worked, like that was germane to anything. He'd start telling me how he sold trucks to ranchers around there, like I gave a shit who else he sold other vehicles to. It was maddening.
The problem was it was late in the model year and they had the only new vehicle in the model, engine size, color and trim package I wanted that I could find in all of North Texas. So, they sort of had me. I went ahead and held my nose and purchased the vehicle. They told me all along that they'd deliver the vehicle to me in North Dallas... no dice, because suddenly, AFTER I had signed everything, they had nobody available to deliver the vehicle. So, I had to drive all the way up to Bugtussle or whatever the hell that town is to get it.
I would never buy another vehicle from these guys if they were the only dealership left on Earth ... hell, I'd walk first.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Candelario H.Corpus Christi, TX1552017Sep 11, 2021

If I could give them no stars, I would...
Their reputation amongst neighboring dealerships and repair shops are terrible. After breaking down and explaining Glenn Polk was in charge of repairing are truck (weeks of bringing my truck back to their service department), a mechanics response was "Well, that's your first problem. There are no good mechanics/technicians at that location".
Their service on both mechanic/technician and representative side is beyond terrible, leaving my perfectly good truck which only needed routine maintenance to thousands of dollars out of my pocket. Not to mention, loss of job opportunities which are irreplaceable but more importantly risking my life due to understaffing and no quality control. Ford should shut the place down. Ask any mechanic in the area, they'll tell you the same...STAY AWAY!!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Chris K.Tulsa, OK2224May 4, 2021
Where do I begin.. my wife and I went to Glenn Polk in Gainesville to buy a 2021 Ford Explorer. My wife found the one she wanted and so we called and set an appointment with Bryan (who is fantastic). Everything was great with the test drive and the buying process, until we got to finance. We had told our salesman that we were interested in the promotional financing of 1.9% for 60 months. When we got to finance, Mike, the finance manager presented us with 72 months and a monthly payment that seemed awfully high for 72 months. When we questioned him about the interest rate he said it was the best he could do. We then reiterated that we felt like we would qualify for the promotional financing. This is where it got ugly. He immediately got upset and stormed out saying "we will just see about that." He came back about 15 minutes later, flustered, and agreed to give us the promotional financing. We proceeded on and he presented us with the "extras". We told him all we wanted was gap since we weren't putting any money down. He was yet again, upset. He did some things on the computer and presented us with our GAP only coverage and this "included" thing called Mastertech Complete. We again questioned this and he said it was included in the price we pay and it wasn't costing us any more. So we proceed on and sign the papers. After a couple of months of owning the vehicle I got it in my mind that something wasn't right with the numbers. And I was right. In fact we were charged an additional $1,295 for this included Mastertech item. I call and say I want to cancel that and get a refund, and I talk with Mike. He tells me that we have to come in and sign a paper, etc but since we live a ways away he can email it. After 3 follow up emails to him he never responded. Finally we got ahold of our salesman who got another finance person to process that cancellation. Moral of the story, really watch your numbers and nothing is ever free.

Had a hard time giving this one star. Absolute worst car buying experience we've ever had. We traded our Dodge Ram in for a 2017 GMC Sierra 2500 HD online and had it delivered to our home four hours away (which seemed great) until we took it for its first test drive, the dash rattled, the fog lights didn't work, the check engine light came on, and a notice to service the parking assist system. Within two hours of owning the vehicle we were sitting at AutoZone having the error code pulled. We took it to our local GMC dealer, per Glenn Polk Ford's request, and there it sat for three days while they tried to determine what was wrong with it. They ended up having to come get it and take it back to their service department for repairs. The lack of communication on their end had us pretty worried that we had made a big mistake. We inquired about the Dodge we had traded in, and they (of course) had already sold it. No one wants to spend $50K on a truck and then be told "at some point you have to realize you bought a used truck." The service manager was less than pleasant to work with, and he seemed very defensive that we had service issues with the truck. My husband also spoke to Connor Polk, and he was very reassuring on the phone, but then ignored our outreach from then on. The truck was finally returned to us this past week. Took it to Discount Tire this morning to learn that it'll need new tires. There a hole in one of the tires and the steel belt is exposed on another. Talk about blow after blow. Painful process and we'll do ourselves a favor next time and shop local. We trusted this dealership and they let us down.
