Also known as Cardiff Park, Glen Park is another beautiful place to visit and enjoy the morning, day or dusk. One one side, It sports a nice playground area placed in sand and suitable for toddlers as well as other features such as basketball court, tennis courts, beach volleyball area and a horseshoe area.
On the other is a large gazebo with built in tables and rollings greenery also with picnic tables sporadically placed with grills alongside so multiple parties can coincide without interrupting each other. -

We went to this park for a festival and very much enjoyed the playground and climbing trees. (Not sure if we were allowed to be tree climbing...but we were.)
Parking for us was a little bit of a nightmare though. We ended up parking two streets over up on a steep hill, but i not sure if this was due to the festival, lack of parking, of just because I couldn't find the parking lot.
The playground was on the smaller side but it was newer and well kept. There were all kinds of courts there for tennis, volleyball, basket ball, and I think I even saw horseshoes.
There is lots of grass space and tons of tables.
We will defiantly be going back. (Maybe parking will be easier next time.) -

The best park in Cardiff by the Sea. Lots of tables, brand new playground, tennis, volleyball and basketball. Lots of grass for running around, playing tag or just whatever.

This park is perfect. There are tennis courts, volley ball courts, a basketball court, swings (which you never see anymore), jungle gym, picnic tables up the ying yang, tons of trees, tons of grass, plenty of parking, and bathrooms! You can have privacy, a big party, or spend the day tumbling down the grassy hills on your belly. Seriously, what else do you want in life?
