Got a deal through the excellent 'Living Social' website to attend one of Glen's introduction to digital photography 3 hr sessions. Excellent. Glen's an accomplished speaker/teacher: calm, clear, patient, assured, humorous and knows his subject. The time flew by. He gave us all invaluable photocopies of the information and talked as through all the basic aspects of photography. I would recommend his classes to anyone who wants to get a clear understanding of how a camera works and how to take great pictures. I'm always a little worried about ending up spending time with a crackpot teacher and wasting money. Not here. Wonderful man, great class.

Attended Glenn's course "Introduction to the Craft of Digital Photography" in Santa Clara and it was great! Content was very balanced between technical know-how of cameras and photography and best practices how to plan, compose and shoot great pictures. Highly recommend the class to anyone who knows the basics of their camera and wants to start putting it all together.

I took a free 2-hr workshop on digital photography that Glen presented at Rileystreet Art Supplies in San Rafael. Glen was a terrific presenter, and had a complete and well-written handout. The info was just right for the group of 6 painters attending. Glen explained that film is still superior to digital because so much more information gets recorded, but that the images can then be scanned and manipulated in computer software. Based on this experience, I plan to have Glen shoot my artwork for me. Glen is a photographer of people, events, architecture, and objects as well.

Established in 1980
I have been a personal/portrait photographer for over 30 years. My commitment to creativity and quality lead me to only use film for my portait clients which provides a vastly superior image than any digital original.
Meet the Business Owner: Glen I.
My career in photography came by the same winding path that most of the great experiences in life do.
In 1970 I spent he summer as a field assistant for a geologist / philosopher / photographer / artist hiking and exploring the canyons of southern Utah. The first photographs that I ever sold were created that summer.
I attended the Brooks Institute in the mid 1970s when it was all about excellence in craft and quality - without compromise - without exception - without excuses.
My clients have included: General Motors, US Air, New York Port Authority, Fairmont Hotels, Lear Crop, Delta Faucets, Wine Spectator, Architectural Digest, Robb Report, Cakebread Cellars,Chalk Hill Estates and a variety of national and international clients.
