Awesome, sad that i didn't use Kelly for my wedding...
While researching bakeries for my sis-n-law's wedding... i came across GSG ... Super sweet lady and she did a cake tasting at my house!... (now-a-days a tasting at a shop is rarity)... Her presentation was awesome, she was very through, very very fair in price/ flexible with bugets and the cake variety is unreal. She had tons of flavors to tantilize anyones taste buds...
i highly recommend GSG... i just wish i had found her a year prior for my own wedding!
PS to any bakeries out there... cake tasting and presentation are what makes the difference.... you want our business not the other way around... especially when it comes to weddings!
First off, I have NEVER seen people go back for seconds for wedding cake!
At our wedding, I saw people going back for thirds! That says a lot!
Kelly is an amazing artist, but also is a nice person to boot!
From the moment she walked into our house for an intimate cake tasting with me and my fiancé, I knew we were in for an experience. The hardest part for me was not wanting to eat every single piece of cake she brought with her! Every cake was delicious! Kelly mixes flavors and textures very well, which made all of her unique, exquisitely scrumptious samples seem like my favorite.
Once we narrowed down our favorites, Kelly helped us pick a design for our cake, which she quickly sketched out for us. I would never have imagined on the day of our wedding that the sketch she drew would turn into the masterpiece she made!
Our cake was elegant, and delicious all at the same time! I can never remember eating better wedding cake!
Use Kelly if you want an artistically made cake that is unique, delicious, and unforgettable!
Kelly is the bomb. She made our wedding cake, which was a rasberry princess, and it was the most beautiful cake ever. It was this light sage green with bamboos and a cherry blossom on the cake. She added orchids, and our panda toppers, and it was on a bamboo stand. It made my wife cry. Also, we had a separate sheet in the back...APPLE PIE CAKE!!! I know most people are like uh...ok...but honestly it was the best cake ever. People who got some couldn't believe how good it was. And if you do a sample tasting with her, don't eat before you go. She brought like 30 different samples for us...and 2 of each. Thanks Kelly!

About a month before our wedding, we decided we no longer wanted to go with the bakery our venue was suggesting. Our Wedding Coordinator suggested Kelly. She was nice enough to meet with us with such short notice.
Our first meeting was great! We sampled TONS of her signature flavors, and looked through her impressive portfolio. We were blown away!
She designed an awesome 3 tier square wedding cake, that would go along with our "night at the movies" theme. I was blown away when I saw it! Truely a piece of art! She made "movie film" out of icing as the border on each tier, placed a hollywood walk of fame star on the center tier with our monogram, and made a bow topper out of black and white movie film with black and white osterich feathers. AMAZING!
Our guests were so impressed, not only with the design but the taste of her cake. EVERYONE ate the cake! Some even asked to take some home!
Mark and I were the most excited about the wedding cake. We wanted something to match our earthy colors of rustic burnt orange and chocolate brown. Since Mark loves his sweets, the cake tasting was the one appointment he was more than happy to attend.
We sampled cake after cake of delicious concoctions Kelly created from your traditional flavors to Mexican wedding cake with cayenne pepper. We were amazed.
We gave Kelly a few ideas and she worked her magic. She gave us a small sketch but we were not expecting such an incredible final product. The cake was a four tired square fondant cake that embodied the colors and design elements of our wedding. She made sure every last detail was perfect. The scrolling on our cake was taken from the design on the invitations and the colors were the exact colors we had selected as the theme of our wedding.
It was not only the most beautiful cake I have ever seen, but it was absolutely delicious. We had to go boxes at the end of the night in case anyone wanted any and the entire cake was gone. People continue to rave about that cake. Kelly did a fabulous job!!!
Kelly with Glass Slipper Gourmet is truly the best of the best! Her creations are always artistic yet classic and extremely tasty...and I have tasted a lot of wedding cakes. It is always such a pleasure to work with Kelly and we can always have peace of mind that the cake will perfect.

Who else would have done our cake? After seeing this woman's work. No one else was in the running. Even the Fondant was tasty. YUMM
Here is my cake. I'll let the picture speak for itself. AWSOME I'd say. My perfect interpretation on what a wedding cake should look like. One of a kind. We have a black and white theme wedding. And the cake tighed it all together. I can say I can't wait till next year. Not just our anniversary but Yeah we get to eat the rest of the cake. The layers upon layers of chocolate fudge, Kailua, chocolate mouse and white cake just melted in your mouth. Just the cake for a Got milk commercials I'm telling ya. To Die for I was told by the guests. Kelly (the owner) came to our house with all the cakes and made us try and try and try. I was caked out by the end but did find the PERFECT taste during the process. This woman knows what she's doing. Trust her, we did and have no complains except now we won't be able to accept any other cake for occasions. Hopefully she'll give us a frequent flyer discount hehe.
