I still don't know how I feel about this place honestly.  I bought one of their packages from Alternative Advertising for $60 which gets you like color "conserve" (aka the same color you have), highlights, a haircut, a and neck/shoulder massage.  When I went I saw someone named Ezequiel.  AVOID HIM AT ALL COSTS.  I paid the price to get a double process (as a new client you get 20% off, so it was $160 instead of $200) because my hair was dyed dark, and I wanted it to be a a more medium brown color.  Anyway: he only put a 15 vol developer with a level 7 color (and if you know anything about dying hair you know this won't do jack) on it and then gave me these HORRIBLE HORRIBLE brassy yellow highlights against black hair. Look at my pictures to see the damage.  Disgusting.  Needless to say, I was *very* unhappy and went back the next day.  This time he almost got it , but I was still left with these brassy yellow streaks and hot yellow roots and dark ends.  I don't know about you, but when I go to a professional salon and pay top dollar, my hair better look spectacular.  I don't pay $$$ for them to f*ck it up--I can f**ck it up on my own for about $200 cheaper.  Needless to say, it did not look hot.  SO I went back AGAIN to finally get this straight and it was like a big deal since this Ezequiel character didn't even bother to show up, so another stylist, Micheal (who is a doll--maybe you will have a better experience with him) attempted to fix it.  However, though it looks decent now, it was still not what I wanted in the first place so in all it felt like a big waste of time and money and DAMAGE to my hair.  I really felt the sting for betraying my usual stylist who *always* gets it right by trying  a new place in NYC.  I will not be coming back, nor would I recommend a friend.

AND I ALMOST FORGOT: What really tops it off is that my so-called "haircut" was hardly a trim AND IT WAS UNEVEN!!!!!!  One side is definitely shorter than the other.  I was so upset over the color (it was bad enough to make me cry) I forgot to mention this the very last time I went, but either way, nobody except my beloved Maki  is ever touching my hair again.

One of the best experiences at a salon that I have ever had. I had the introductory package and will absolutely be returning for the other services. I was given a next-day appointment when I called and taken immediately when I arrived. The entire crew was fabulous, friendly and hospitable. I told Michael exactly what I wanted and he was able to give me an incredible cut. Michael was knowledgeable and practical. Absolutely wonderful people, cheerful atmosphere and professional hairstylists.
