Great pizza by the slice or whole. Slices are the most populart because everyone can have what they want.. It's a favorite of the grand kids.

I'm so happy Misake was closed because it led me to this gem. Gotta agree with the other yelpers Gino's pizza is amazing!
I've never been a huge fan of sicilian pizza, but I saw that dude wip out a fresh pie out of the oven and not only did it look delicious, but it tasted sooo damn good. Cripsy crust, flavorful sauce, just the right amount of cheese. I should've ordered 2 slices.
My friend ordered a slice of the white pizza, that was also yummy.
Everybody working there was super friendly.
Can't wait to go back.Listed in: Its all about the Pizza baby!

This was a little out of my way, but since i was having my car serviced on Northern Blvd, i took a little walk down Plandome rd. As i was walking, i yelped on my phone and came up with this pizza place of 20+ very positive reviews. I am very glad i listened to my fellow yelpers on this one.
The pizza was just great. I'm from queens and can honestly say i've had some of the best pizza there is. (Even Lombardi's in the city). Gino's pizza was as tasty as it gets. I shared half of a white slice, half of a gramma slice(or at least that's what i think it was), and half of a reg slice. Each slice was very fresh and had a very unique, great taste to it. Much props to the white slice, it was crispy but still great taste with the cheese.
I would consider going back here for the pizza even know how far it is away from me. -

As a Manhattanite (as in, didn't leave the island for my first 18 years), I turned my nose up at the idea that my husband's puny LI pizza could even compare to mine. But we stopped in today (during my first ever drive around Nassau County-- eek) and the pizza was beyond delicious. Just as good, if not better, than the pizza here in the city. And really that's the best compliment I could give.
Minor gripe-- what's the deal with the tiny cups of soda?
Counterbalanced by major perk-- Gino's Italian Ices still only $1-- it's like childhood! -

Crisp crust, nice assortment of different slices and a friendly atmosphere make Gino's a neighborhood favorite.
I've had the baked ziti slices here, and they are not so loaded down with pasta that the crust gets soggy under the weight. Sauce is not too sweet, but I do wish there was slightly more on my slice (but then it would probably be soggy). Maybe I'll ask for extra sauce next time I come.Listed in: Manhasset

Review from Billy L.

Having grown up in Manhasset, Gino's directly contributed to my weight gain, happiness, and great memories that symbolized my childhood. The pizza can be a bit greasy and the prices may err on the higher side, but in my opinion, great quality comes at a cost and the fact that Gino's expanded to other towns in the area is a sign of great quality.
Gino's offers a selection of speciality slices, try the chicken pizza, as well as wraps and salads for the health coscious crowd, and you have to love the pizza shaped windows and Italian ices in the summer (vanilla chocalate chip is my go to choice).Listed in: Hometown Heroes

The best slice in the area, and all surrounding areas.
Friendliest staff, too. -

Somtimes I like Villa's more.... but sometimes you just want a meat pinwheel and Gino's has the best one ever!
Fast service, clean tables. -

As i got older and ventured out of my town i soon realized that Gino's has some damn good pizza. Friendly staff, you really feel like family here. I've been eating here for 7 years and its always been the best pizza in the area.

I was told that I would have to try three things when I came to NY, pizza, chinese, and lox bagels.
All I can say is that the pizza delivered in more ways than one, including my favorite mix of mushroom and onion. It was breakfast the next day. -

Not quite sure of all 5-star reviews here...
We go there and order a pizza (one size only), which was a combination of three different types. We were charged the highest price of the three types.
So, the crust was soft and chewy. Not what I like at all.
The bbq chicken was pretty bland and had overwhelming bbq sauce taste on it. The buffalo chicken tasted pretty "blah" -- nothing special. And the fresh mozzarella? Can't compare to Joe's Pizza in Brooklyn.
All in all, really disappointed as it's the only pizza place around. Di Fara's still my favorite for the time being. -

Who the hell DOESN'T like Gino's? Plain slice, chopped-- DO IT. I also like the garlic knots. It's funny to see all the other pizzerias trying to open up next to Gino's... like, are you crazy?

The crust consistency is perfect: crunchy but soft on the inside. The tomato sauce always tastes fresh with a hint of garlic. The sauce to cheese proportion is perfect. I love the eggplant stuffed slice. NY pizza at its finest....how I miss you, Ginos!!

Review from Joe O.
I grew up in this town so this was a staple for us growing up. Now that I live in Brooklyn, I'd say the pizza is comparable at Sal's and Nino's but the combo of house salad (be warned, its HUGE) with a coke and a few slices can't be beat. I'll probably never step foot in this place again (no need to go back to Manhasset for anything) but at times I long for the combo. GO INDIANS!!!

Thank god my parents wanted to drive around the neighborhood that that my mom grew up in and my girlfriend had to got to the bathroom (normally things that would make me want to killmyself) for us to stumble upon Gino's. Growing up in NY you forget just how good your pizza is when you move to the south and just cant get it anymore. This was by far the best pizza I have ever eaten in my life and I have a family that will agree to that statement too. If I were on Death Row, this would be my last meal.

In the never ending Villa Milano vs. Gino's debate that all true Manhassetites participate in, I am *always* on the Gino's team. Fresh. Delicious. Greasy perfection, spiced with nostalgia.

I created this yelp account specifically to talk about how good Gino's pizza is. Gino's puts NYC pizza to shame. The perfect plain cheese slice. Crispy crust, aromatic sauce, and just the right amount of cheese. I find any excuse I can to get over here.

I've been going to this particular Gino's for years. I've tried others in the vicinity but none are like this one. The food is so delicious and I've had almost everything on their menu. My all time favorite is the stuffed eggplant slice. WOW!

Review from Louie B.

Best pizza hands down. This coming from someone who has lived on pizza for the last 32 years. Moving out of the New York area the first thing you start to miss is NY Pizza, and Gino's is the best. Nothing beats a stuffed meat pizza, Gino's salad, and chocolate chip italian ice. Can't wait until the next time I'm in town to stop in for a slice.

great pizza, much better and faster than the Gino's in Port, the salads and even pastas are better, not much room to sit down though
