Gilt has improved its website and customer service and has had new and bigger sales from designers in the past few months.  A new iPhone app makes it easier to keep track of their limited time exclusive sales.  I've already given them 5 stars, so consider this a 5+.

Sign-up (for free) for their invitation-only sales (discounts of up to 70% off) at http://www.gilt.com/ac...

After registering, save money today with my 10 tips and tricks for Gilt's designer/luxury clothing sales:

1.  Register! Registration is free, but by invitation only. But since we're friends like that, you can join using the following invite link: http://www.gilt.com/ac...

This link will allow you to register (and shop...and save) immediately.

2. Monitor the weekly listings of designers. If you are unfamiliar with certain brands, research the usual cut, style, and pricing of the designers. Read Gilt's description to see what items might be included in the sale. In the past, designers have included Stella McCartney, Earnest Sewn, Cavali, Michael Kors, Steven Alan, Filippa K, Alexander McQueen, Tumi luggage, Band of Outsiders, Jil Sander, Seven for All Mankind, D&G, Burberry Prorsum, Bensoni, Helmut Lang, John Varvatos, Common Projects, Theory, Rag & Bone, Acne, Kiki de Montparnasse, Valentino, Wolford, Matthew Williamson, Ralph Lauren Black/Purple Label, Diesel, Marc Jacobs, Cole Haan, Thom Browne, Issey Miyake, Oliver Peoples, Christian Louboutin, Yigal Azrouel, Hyden Yoo, Zac Posen, Vera Wang, Judith Ripka, Vivienne Tam, Kate Spade, Alexander Wang, Malo, PRPS, Jean Shop, Catherine Malandrino, Cynthia Rowley, Exhibitionist Jewelry by Michael Spirito, Christian Lacroix, Fendi, and tons more. Sign up for the email alerts about upcoming sales and be strategic about which sale to view first when there are multiple sales starting at the same time. Men's sales are now on its own website, "Gilt Man." "Gilt Groupe" will now feature exclusively women's clothing.

3. Log-in before the sale, know what you are looking for, and be prepared to act quickly once the sale begins.

4. When the sale starts, sort items by your size, then view the page beginning at the bottom or middle of the page. Because items sell out quickly, you will have an advantage over most people who read from the top of the page down. But also know what you want: accessories are generally placed at the bottom of the page.

5. Click on items piece by piece. Do not open multiple tabs or windows to view items.

6. Immediately check if there is stock item by item, and add items immediately to your cart when available.

7. Unsure about an item? The shopping cart gives you 10 minutes to place an item on hold. However, you can reset your 10 minute window by initiating the checkout, but not completing the payment. In fairness to everyone else, this tactic should be used sparingly.  Remember, you will also receive free shipping on most items ordered within one hour of each other if you need time to think about additional items.

8. Item you want sold out in your size? Add an e-mail notification to become aware if someone later returns the item.

9. If you don't want it, you can usually return it for store credit.  Unworn clothes and shoes (but not handbags, accessories, etc.) can be returned within 21 days, and return shipping is free.

10. Item out of season or you are an unusual size? You might be able to hold off buying initially and wait for  the item to be re-listed on the site in a future sale, usually at a discount.  (This review is copied from my blog about Gilt Groupe at http://giltgroupefan.b...)

I first heard about http://Gilt.com through Time Out Chicago magazine and figured they wouldn't steer me wrong. Like many people here I really liked the deals and could not pass up on a light jacket for the upcoming fall season.

Luckily I was not in desperate need for the jacket as the weather is not freezing yet. I did not anticipate waiting 2 weeks for the jacket to ship. Aside from the long wait, the jacket is great.

One thing i really did like about the website is that it gives me the size worn by the model as well as their height, waist, neck, and chest measurement so I can better judge the correct size for myself.

I am impressed! After using Yelp to express my frustrations with Gilt's customer service I later received what I was waiting for... communication from them! It turns out that somehow there was a glitch in my computer or theirs and that's why all of my inquiries were not being sent to there customer service reps.

I finally got to talk with someone and was grateful for how they handled everything. Thanks Gilt  you're the best...

Ok so I lost a little weight last spring.  All of my clothes were getting a little baggy and it was definitely time for an update.  So it was time to channel my inner Carrie Bradshaw and buy a new wardrobe...

The gods shined upon me and a friend invited me to Gilt Groupe.  Careful, it's called 'Guilt' for a reason.  An invitation only online sample sale.  Designer labels go on sale daily at 50-80% off retail price.  ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME!  My credit card wasn't expecting it but it got a workout for sure.  I stocked up Rock & Republic, Seven, Stiches, and Diesel jeans and shirts by everyone from Mark Jacobs to John Varvatos.  Watches by Tisot and D&G...the list goes on and on - I feel the endorphins kicking in.

Everything was a steal and at the end of the day I don't feel that bad about because I spent a fraction of what I normally would on clothing but I got the designer labels I crave.

So after my closet rod broke for the third time and was finally reinforced to handle my FABULOUS new wardrobe I decided to calm it down.  Needless to say Gilt will not disappoint my friends.  But you have to be ready and willing right when the online 'boutiques' open at 12 pm EST because the good stuff sells out FAST and items are only held in your cart for 10 minutes.  I know it seems overwhelming but in no time you'll be a Gilt pro - Blainzie promises.

Oh and ladies what they've got going for you is just as good if not better.  If you need an invite shoot me a message and I'll be happy to send you one.

Go ahead cause feeling Guilty never felt or looked so dang good.

Notice that bags and jewelry are not returnable.  Im warning you right now DO NOT PURCHASE ANY BAGS OR JEWELRY from this site. They are professionally photographed in dim lighting and  you fall in love.  You spend half your paycheck on the dreamy apparition then you get the bag and its hideous.  Its 90 percent made of cloth, not leather,  the leather parts look like vynl, its got threads hanging off it.  Its got cheap nylon lining.     The handle breaks off while you are walking down the street the first day you wear it.  You write to customer service FOUR TIMES and they dont write back even once. Welcome to my nightmare.

Okay, and Stupidly I also ordered 2 pieces of jewelry that are non returnable.  Boy did they look nice in the picture.  When i got them i got to see the back of the earings had an exposed setting.  looked super cheap.  like they basically cut one earring in half and made it into two earrings.  a hundred bucks should buy you more than half of a mold-poured hoop.  They had carefully photographed it to deceive customers.

The necklace is a pretty woven brass -  pretty in front - but then theres  obvious glue and sodder muddling up the back for a good half inch into the weave of the necklace.  It looks like they hired a toddler with a glue gun to put the clasp on.

cant have your hair up if you wear the necklace or you might as well just say I'm desperately trying to look refined and elegant but I really cant afford a decent piece of jewelry.  its awful ive allowed my self to be duped by these f*ckers multiple times.  DO NOT PURCHASE ANY BAGS OR JEWELRY FROM GILT.

I love gilt. Too damn much.

I'm embarrassed to admit how much I've bought on gilt (just add a u before the i in that word and there you have it)--but I honestly havn't been too sorry about a single purchase. I love that if an item you love sells out and you waitlist it, you will often get invited to a "private" sale at a later time--that's how I got my green hunter rain boots AND the Christian Louboutin rose colored ankle boots I just bought today! ((gulp)) They weren't the black pumps I've been dying for--they always sell out in five minutes. But I still can't WAIT to get these boots. YAY!

I hope to god they invite me to their next Louboutin private sale so I can finally get those damn pumps (and more more MORE!) so I don't have to go buy them on the UES for 795...which I will do eventually if there is no other way. Come hell or high water, I WILL have them, dammit!

What else, what else...Gilt is very "pick your poison" For example, you can get a "fix" on gilt for 20 or 30 bucks (on an item that was originally 78, for example), spend over a 100 on a cute dress that was originally 4 or 5 hundred, OR you can do some major damage on items over a grand.

So far on Gilt, I have purchased a milly dress (to die for! I look amazing in it, got the last one in a 2, it was like winning the lotto!) Cynthia Vincent lace-up black wedge sandals (HOT!) a pair of Delman flat, gold sandals (great for summer), adorable green Cynthia Steffe sun dress (shut the front door!), black velvet Jill Stuart blazer (so professional!), a stewart & brown sexy white organic henley tank (an every day staple!), a pair of frye boots (Cause who doesn't love frye?), hot Adam dress (totally unique), some rich and skinny boyfriend jeans (get compliments on them all the time)........I LOVE IT ALL! THANK YOU, GILT!

God, I wish I could work there. I am obsessed!

I have indeed ordered things that I've had to return (A pair of high waisted/belted denim slacks that DWARFED me)-pants are hard for me as a petite chick, so I stick with the tops/dresses/shoes now if I can't try on the pants. But I got a gilt credit right away. Which I used within a week. I love their return policy. Fast and easy.

My only complaint is that once you register your credit card, it is so damn easy to get what you want at a click of a button, so as long as you have credit, it is all so dangerously at your fingertips---mwua ha ha ha ha ha ha!

I'm so addicted, if I sign on and see that I'm late to a sale (or MISS one!) that I've been waiting for, I just about get sick. For the big ones, I have even thought about asking my mom (who lives across the country) to sign into my account for some tag-team action to help me snag what I want. But she would disown me I think.

I am a jewelry addict and I am looking for *fine jewelry* sales on GILT every day. Gold is timeless. I am not into cheap plastics/metals, but fine jewelry & pearls.
I have seen good deals on 18K gold designer items, there're more items in 14K gold and silver. 18K gold is my preference. If you like 14K gold or silver, then you will find plenty of items to choose from.  I don't buy truly expensive jewelry, but reasonably priced and well made quality items. So far the search and wait has been worth it for me. FUSE (there's a link from Gilt to Fuse sales) also has jewelry, but in the least expensive category. Ladies and gentlemen, if you are fine jewelry lovers like me, take a closer look at Gilt sales.
If you need an INVITATION TO GILT or FUSE designer sample sales go to this link directly and register: http://www.giltgroupe....

I'm really impressed with Gilt's customer service response.  After kvetching about it on Yelp, I got a private msg on here which eventually segued over to my email account.  I received specific warranty information about my sunglasses, as well as a phone number to call for Oliver Peoples.  They also put a little credit in my account.  I realize no one is perfect, but Gilt really stepped up and tried to rectify what was an unpleasant experience for me.  (Perhaps AT&T could try to do the same?)

I'm looking forward to more Gilt sales!

Maybe it's just that I'm as excited as a handbag whore with a sugar daddy on Christmas morning, or that I'm just stoked about the amazing deals I scored on Gilt's website earlier this month...but I am a fan.

I've never been a fan of designer discount websites - the merchandise is usually leftover shite, and the hoops you have to jump through to get your order placed is generally not worth the hassle.  However, when I saw the unattainable $350 handbag that I had just been lusting after at Nordstrom the day before on Gilt's website for $130...I went for it.  And was able to splurge on a fancy-schmancy clutch for my Memorial Day girl's weekend to boot.

My two items arrived while I was away on vacation, and after unpacking them this morning, they are in perfect condition and exactly what I ordered.  So Gilt, you may be hit or miss...and some of your "discounts" are still WAY out of my price range...but there are definitely amazing treasures to be found within your cyberwalls.

I'm knocking off a star for a pair of swanky shoes that Mr. Cara (who might be a bigger shoe whore than I am) ordered a couple of months ago that arrived in a blinding purple color rather than the blue that was shown in the photo.  Of course, he still wears them proudly.  Because that's how he rolls.

Fabulous.

I've had great experiences with Gilt. People have left some great tips but really I've gotten almost everything I've ever wanted. What it takes, waking up early (if you're on the west coast) and being persistent. I just keep trying and trying and eventually it ends up in my cart. Luck? Maybe, but I like to think nothing can stand between me and a pair of Louboutins. I did have an unfortunate circumstance where I ordered and Herve Leger dress that they said was in stock. After a few days of not being shipped I started getting worried because usually my item is shipped the same day or at least by the next day, even if it's a Saturday. After a few days I got an apology letter that they didn't have my item in stock and as upset as I was, I couldn't be too upset because they credited my account $25. I really appreciate the effort they made and luckily, the last HL sale provided good results and a discount since I got to use my credit. Win win situation!

3.50 stars.  It might come with a note of surprise that I am actually reviewing an online, high-end clothing discount store that is rapidly becoming a part of mainstream consciousness, but Gilt Groupe is still an exceptional bargain for men interested in updating their current wardrobe with fashionable pieces that will serve them well for years.  While I'll readily admit my sartorial credentials are less than stellar, there is no question in my mind that Gilt Groupe has provided me with a source for extraordinary reasonably priced clothing that I otherwise would have not purchased but for the discount.

Probably the single most useful feature of Gilt Groupe is the breadth of their offerings.  With their balanced approach, an individual can purchase items that encompass a broad range of styles.  For example, I purchased a couple of John Varvatos Converse sneakers for about $80/apiece that would sell on the retail market for well above $200.  I'm also on the waiting list for a sheet set that just so happens to properly match my bed.  I've recently received a snakeskin handsoap depositor that has added a touch of class to my bathroom.  Finally, I've purchased an organic t-shirt whose proceeds go to environmentally friendly causes through the website.

With respect to shipping, people who have complained about receiving the wrong items, etc. are correct.  It can happen.  Having said that, I received a store credit when I was in a similar situation.  I've also received some shoes that did not fit me, but I plan to remedy that situation by making it a very merry Christmas early in July for my brother.

Overall, Gilt Groupe is an excellent resource for quickly updating your wardrobe.  I've certainly benefitted from my few months on the site, and I'm planning on continuing to use it so long as it is still possible to get deals.  I would suggest joining now because the word is already out on this website.

Love GILT! loyal member for a year now.

GILT has allowed me to purchase various designer shoes, jewelry and clothing.
Some of my past purchases include Zac Posen and Marc Jacobs. Shoes from Alexander McQueen and Theory.
Jewelry from M2 and Amrita singh. Great prices and selection.
However the popular ones like Herve Leger or Christian Louboutin are so hard to get and the website usually gets extremely slow when those sales happen... That's a con.
Otherwise the best private sale website there is.

OMG. Who doesn't love trunk sales.. or sample sales?? Christian Louboutins... Vera Wang... Burberry... Dior!

EEEEEEeeee!!!

Items are heavily marked down and you don't have to deal with other psycho shopaholics wanting to murder you for the only size 8 shoe.

Prices are reasonable but for homewares, makeup, and accessories, do a quick google search. They carried Smashbox last week and the prices weren't super competitive.

They really bank on the fact that you gotta buy before someone else gets their grubby mouse clicks on it so you can end up doing a lot of spur of the moment purchases...

Choose carefully and at 9am everyday.... start clicking refresh!!!

I just got my first HL ever through Gilt. I am in love with sample sales and Gilt is definitely the most fanciest (in product procurement and layout) sample sale sites that I have been to. They have awesome seasonal sales where everything you couldn't afford at full price is now provided to you at 80% off the original price.

The shipping is a bit hefty ($9.95 to $20 sometimes!).

Go Gilt!

I'm in LURVE with GG!

In August/September 08' I walked into Bloomies with a girlfriend and tried on the most amazing buttery leather asymmetric jacket by Helmut Lang in a light gray (storm).  I immediately fell in love with it, but had to put it down when I realized it cost just under a months rent. The coat wasn't large enough to live in for a month, so I had to put it back on the hanger. I spent the next 5 months searching for a good copy of that coat at a fraction of the cost. I had dreams about it (they were great dreams).
Finally, I sucked it up and bought a black leather jacket that was not as beautiful, or buttery.

Six months later, I opened an email from Guilt Groupe, this amazing website full of the leftovers designers weren't able to sell in the past season. Helmut was the first name to pop up, so I "window-browsed" it (thinking everything would be too $$ for me anyway). I got to the middle and almost fell out of my chair when I saw THE JACKET! I did a double take when I saw the price. It was 1/3 of the original cost. Immediately, I put my size in the cart and thought about it. I thought for about 3 minutes before I bought it.

SIGN UP FOR THIS SITE LADIES AND GENTS, it's a winner! The items are delivered beautifully, and quickly. If you refer a friend, and they make a purchase, you get a $25 coupon to use on your next purchase.
Some of these sales are still a bit $$$$$$ but once in a while, you will find the buttery leather jacket you've been having wet dreams about, and everything aligns. Stimulate the economy!

I'm a Gilt whore. I'm not ashamed to admit it. Any site that offers me DVF shoes, Gryson bags and Walter dresses for less than $100 is a site sent from heaven.

Let's not go into the Zac Posen, Cynthia Rowley, Vera Wang or Judith Ripka. And Gilt is for men too. Like Gordon Rush shoes or Mosley tribes? J Lindeberg or Acne Jeans? It's all here, honeys.

Also, chances are I'm getting laid off this morning. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to buy a super pretty dress that I could afford (somewhat). At least now if I'm booted / axed / let go / etc, I'll look DAMN good doing it.

It's been nice knowing you, boutiques at Saks and Neiman's...but you know, it's great to have Gilt as an option in times like this.

And if you want in on this site (it's invite only), just PM me.

Are you swanky guy or girl without a trust fund?

Do you like the idea of buying clothes from Vivienne Tam, Carolina Herrera, Michael Kors, Herve Leger, and Roberto Cavalli at Banana Republic prices?!

Yup, yup. That's what I thought.

That's basically the raison d'etre for Gilt.Com - an online trunk show (without  the mild violence associated with the real thing). Every day they start one or more 48 hour sales (~70% off on average!) on clothing, jewelry, and handbags for women, men, and kids. Do be prepared to drop at least $50, but I'd rather spend that here than a chain store. Also, just yesterday I saw Ali Ro dresses selling at $34 down from $220.

My best deal thus far - I paid $150 for a dress that retailed at $1,780.00 - and then I did some cartwheels. And a victory dance. For 20 minutes. Also, the shipping was lighting fast and pretty cheap.

When I make a purchase on that site, the (beautiful black and gold and filled with custom tissue paper) box is in my hand practically before the purchase is noted on my credit card online statement. Ie. often within two business days (and this on the cheapest shipping option).

They also maintain a wait list that emails you when someone returns something that you wanted or when extra stock appears. Love!

Btw - Guys, the men's clothing selection here rocks too. Who doesn't want a classy men's suit for less than $200?

I should say that the site is member's only but it's really not hard to get an invite. However, if you have any trouble feel free to message me and I'll send you my personal invite link.

Really I have no reservations. Half the treasured pieces in my closet are from here.

These fashion whores do a great job of bringing sample sales to the internet.    It's super convenient to shop online, although you have to be quick - even when you log on the moment a sale starts, sometimes the items you want most are sold out before you even have a chance to add them to your cart!  One thing that really bothers me is you cannot preview a sale before it goes live, and when you hit the back button after adding an item to your cart, it takes you to the top of the sale page and not where ever you had scrolled down to.  So you have to scroll down again to find your place, wasting valuable time and allowing the other vultures to snatch up the good stuff.

Prices are great, although some sales are better than others.  The site is best utilized for brands you already know, and trust how they will fit you.  I've never done a return so I can't comment on that, although I can say the Marc by Marc Jacobs items I've purchased have arrived in very nice packaging with original tags, in crisp condition, wrapped with TLC in black tissue paper.  No wrinkles and ready to wear.

As others have said, it's invite only.  PM me your email address and I will be glad to invite you - get your invite from me because I think you are really sexy!!!

Realistically, this is a pretty cool site to constantly visit at 9 a.m. It's like visiting the Barney's Co-op from home. This site allows you to peek into the world of higher fashion and you can pick and choose what you'd like to buy but click on it quickly because they sell out quickly.

Last week there was a Valentino dress ready for my picking at $500 but I had to choose between a dress and car insurance so sure enough, I had to go with the insurance. Oh, how I wish the sale was only a week later!

Every day they have a different featured artist at a decent price. I've seen people buy items on Gilt and then sell it on Ebay for a profit. I'm not condoning that at all but I'm just saying, it's cheap enough on the site that others have make a profit off of it.

It's one of those guilty little pleasures that gets delivered to your home and what's better than getting a Jack Spade bag for 60% off or a John Varvatos accessories?! Hee hee hee...

Only downside of this place is the lack of customer service, the quick sellout of the more popular items, and the fact that you need an invite to even browse. Oh well, it's worth it.

If Gilt and I could get married, we totally would. No really...we have an intense, seriously, loving marriage. The only problem? It's a bit one-sided.

I love looking at Gilt but very rarely do I actually buy anything because I'm on a strict spending diet. I feel sort of bad for using Gilt is such a womanizing (thanks britney for reinstating that word into my vocab) manner, but Gilt doesn't seem to mind. After all, I've invited some friends who actually decided to buy some of the amazing deals of Gilt, resulting in a $25 credit for me each time. Woohoo!!! Now all I have to do is find the perfect item to spend it on!

I love you Gilt.
Sincerely yours,
Monica D.

Online sample sale shopping comes with a few risks when it comes to returns, so its good to know what size you are.  I'm quite risk averse when it comes to online shopping.  I usually only buy items that I know will be a perfect fit for me.  The variety is getting larger and the items are getting better.  Most recently, I purchased some Cosmedicine skincare that I usually pay full price for from Sephora.  I would usually not go for discount skincare, but for some reason I trust their marketing.  Good job GILT.

Prices, site, and labels are great. Customer service is awful. I have ordered from there 3 times. Forget about getting any sort of response from customer service, and just cross your fingers you get what you ordered.

My most recent order has a $700 item. They shipped the wrong thing and only offered $15 to "right" their wrong. Now I'm stuck with $700 worthless item.

Good items at good prices, but plenty of kinks to work out.

From an operations standpoint, quite possible the worst company I've ever dealt with. I ordered a watch around June 1st and a week or two passed without me getting a notice that my order had shipped, so I filled out the contact form asking where my order was and when it would ship (I think it's pretty reasonable to expect your order to ship within a couple weeks) anyway, another week passed and no response from customer service, no shipping notification and no watch. I left for vacation for a week and planned on cancelling my order once I got home, but received an email my last day out of town that my watch had shipped. All and all it took 28 days for me to get the watch I ordered. Not worth the hassle, but I did eventually get what I ordered and it was everything I expected.

Too bad their operations and customer service is such a mess. I see many things that I would like to buy on their website, but the hassle to actually get your merchandise (or get any level of customer service) just isn't worth the savings. Looking at the other posts, I guess I'm not alone with my experience.

Dearest Gilt,

Oh how I love thee. You're not like all the other sample sale sites with their 8am (Pacific) start times and limited daily selections - you're a cut above the rest. You consistently carry the best brands, have the best customer service, were the first to carry men's, children's and accessories, and your layout and functionality is on-point.

I want to keep you all to myself, but that just wouldn't be fair. I'm living on ramen and granola bars after purchasing those two Lauren Merkin clutches and the Missoni scarf. I need a break. It's not you - it's me. Ok, it's you - stop tempting me with those emails! We can still be friends.  I'll come by and browse - maybe even put something in my cart for shits and giggles, but I will not go all the way...at least not until the next blow-out sale or I make it to the grocery store, whichever comes first. I love you, but I'm not IN love with you.

Best,
Erin

I've ordered a few clothing items from this website as well as a Le Sport Sac purse.  They get the items out to you immediately, and they come in really nice boxes.  You can tell that it's quality.  I'm glad it is, because the items you are ordering are high quality too!  I haven't had a single problem with them yet.  Highly recommended.

i was waiting for my problem to be fixed before changing the review(it's annoying to have so many updated reviews) but felt bad leaving it the way it is.

was contacted by gilt management after having seen my review here on yelp and was given a reasonable compensation for shipping cost and such. very happy that they responded so quickly.

Gilt definitely has a good selection of quality apparel and some great sales (especially the final sales).  I bought two items during the final sale, one of which was a silk dress I was really excited about.  When my package arrived, a completely different dress was in the box! So yes, they definitely do mix up orders once in awhile. However, their service and support gets five stars. I called at 5:30 pm and got on the phone with one of the nicest sales professionals I have ever talked to, who apologized profusely and arranged a return/refund on the spot.  Bottom line, they might be a bit disorganized come mega-sale time, but they've definitely stepped up the service to the point where I'd be willing to try this site out again.

If I could give negative stars I would.  Other people have written about the terrible/non-existent customer service here and it's all true or worse.  2 out of the 3 orders I've placed with them have been defective.  A dress came missing the belt and both zippers on the boots I ordered broke within 2 months (and only worn a handful of times).  Since it was after 10 days, they refused to give me a refund even though the product is obviously defective.  All this after I had wasted many calls and emails with no response.  Finally I got the customer service manager on the phone who proceeded to berate me and spit condescending attitude.  It was horrifying to me that this person would be allowed to speak with customers.  And still months later, I'm still arguing with them.  Bottom line, the prices may be good, but it's NOT WORTH IT.

Kelie again. Just got an e-mail from Gilt. 2 weeks late, but they did refund my purchase and give me store credit on top. Seems they're going through some growing pains, but trying to do right through the process.

The best deals, the best high-end merchandise, the best service. LOVE that they now have free returns, kinda hate that you can only get a store credit, not a full refund to the credit card. It's worth it though, my store credits never last long! Also, they credit my returns no more than 2 days after I send the item back so that's a huge plus -- Neimans and Barneys takes more like a month! Gilt used to ship right away, sometimes I'd get my item the SAME DAY, but lately the turnaround is a bit longer. It's still faster than most though (BARNEYS.COM, I'm talking to you here!), I'm not complaining. It means they're growing, which is good -- I want Gilt around for a long, long time!!
