Giles Conrad Park
1 review for Giles Conrad Park
This cute park sits along an idyllic stretch of Route 8 on the Ohio River. With plenty of green space, 1.6 miles of paved walking/biking trails, a picnic shelter, riverboat themed playground, and basketball courts, this is an ideal spot to stop to enjoy a summer afternoon. Be sure to find the shaded overlook of the river, which can be quite nice if you can ignore the ugly chemical plants on the Ohio side.
I'd give this park a higher rating if it weren't located in one of the worst flood plains in Northern Kentucky. If there's even a moderate amount of rain in the spring, Conrad Park will definitely be closed.
If you do make it to Conrad Park, be sure to stop by McGlasson's farm down the road for fresh fruit and vegetables.
