I will definitely stay here again.  The service was very friendly, the room was spacious and very, very clean and included a fireplace.  Sure, the fireplace was controlled by a power switch, but it sure added some ambiance!

If you are a star-gazer, you'll love that Geyserville Inn is kind of in the boonies so you can stand in the back of the property and crane your head upwards for spectacular celestial views.

Walls are kind of thin, so you should sleep with the fan on to drown out night sounds.

My Husband took me here for my Birthday, it was just what we needed, quiet! It was almost too quiet, but hey who am I to complain! We stayed in a deluxe room with a fireplace a view of the vineyards, nice!

Stayed here multiple times. Beautiful grounds, super easy to get to, good value, and extremely clean rooms. My favorite part about the place is the kindly woman who works the night shift- Louella. She is a sweetheart, so very friendly and welcoming, no matter how late you end up arriving (we're night owls). And she has hilarious stories.

One star off for pretty early check out by my standards (11am) and relatively weak showers.

In short, a fine place to stay. Oh, and River Rock casino is literally 10 minutes away if you want to scratch that itch.

I used to work here, and there were problems quite frequently. There was sometimes a real disconnect between employees. Visitors had all kinds of experiences; many enjoyed it, many didn't, and many really didn't. Sometimes things would be disorganized. I think overall it's good because it's the only real hotel in Geyserville, so if you want to be up-close to the vineyards, it's a great place to be. Also, you can ask the front desk for passes for wine tasting. The rooms are of decent size and very clean. It's a smaller, cozy hotel with a nice pool and basic amenities. It is pretty good if you're having a wedding or other event because you can cater from next door, and reserve the whole hotel for your guests if you want.

We blocked off the whole hotel for our family and guests when we got married in wine country.  Unlike some big name chains in Santa Rosa where you had to guarantee the reservations yourself and bite the cost if you didn't fill, they were very cool.  Our friends and family had until a certain date to make their reservation.  After that, then the rooms were open to the public.

One star off because for various reasons (I think they were training new people and also transitioning to a new computer system) many of our guests had trouble booking a room initially, despite saying that they were with the wedding party.  People kept being told that the hotel was already booked and no new reservations could be made.  Eventually we got it all straightened out.

Other than that, the staff was perfect.  We had gift bags for our guests and they made sure to put them in the right room prior to check-in.  They were also super patient and helpful.  We had to do a few room switches when we realized some of our elderly guests had a room on the second floor (no elevator).

The rooms are clean and bright.  There's a mini fridge in each room, perfect for storing whatever foods you might accumulate during your wine tour.

The nearby Hoffman House is a great little restaurant.  Be aware that the service can be a bit slow.  But I can't really blame them when a big chunk of our wedding guests decided to stop by for breakfast at about the same time.  It was easy for them to get overwhelmed.

They were also great in that we threw a welcome reception and farewell breakfast there.  The food was great and the events were lovely.

If you want to be close to the wineries, but avoid the hustle and bustle of Healdsburg, this is a great place to stay.

Was here for a wedding in November.

I guess it depends what you're looking for in a hotel/inn.  I enjoy clean, roomy rooms (check), comfy beds (check) big bathrooms (check), good water pressure in shower (check).  I also enjoy a bar ... which was missing here.  We had to drive into Healdsburg for that mess.

The grounds and views were GORGEOUS.  Went for a walk and felt like I was in a tiny town in Italy.

Staff was polite, but I felt like we got a little too rowdy for their taste:)  But it's a wedding in wine country, what do you expect? ;)

This was the closest hotel to the super crappy River Rock Casino that for some bizarre reason we just had to visit. The staff was really friendly (no surprise we got lost) especially Lou who was super sweet. The room was a decent size and very clean. Since we booked on http://hotels.com we got a very reasonable rate. Overall I was very satisfied and will definitely return.

I never actually stayed here.  On our recent wine country weekend we were invited on, the organizer, Bob, suggested we all stay at the Geyserville Inn.  I was suspect because the pictures looked like a slightly fancied up Holiday Inn but if Bob vouches for them, I am willing to give them a try.  I booked the room on-line which required a deposit for one of the two nights in the amount of $198.69.  No problem.

A week later, another guest on the trip secured some timeshare condos in nearby Windsor for half the price and twice the space.  Bob and I canceled our two separate reservations at Geyserville Inn, again on-line, on October 10th and snatched up the two bedroom condos instead.  I checked my credit card bill a few weeks later, expecting to see my deposit promptly returned.  It was not.  I gave it a little more time and then decided to call them at the end of October.  I talked to a very confused sounding man who talked me around in circles asking for my cancellation number and then repeating that he had the same number for me but without the leading digit.  Whatever!  The point is, I say I canceled, he confirms I canceled, so where is my damn deposit?  He said he would show it to his auditor and get the credit for me.

Cut to November 7th.  Still no sign of the deposit.  This time I decide to fax them all of the paperwork with a slightly annoyed letter instead of calling.  This prompts them to call me and leave a message saying that the person who deals with this is out and it should be looked at in a few days.  How hard is it to give me my deposit back?  There is something obviously wrong with their system.

I am not sure how Bob handled his deposit but as of our wine trip on October 28th he had not gotten his back either.  As for the members of our group that did stay there this year and previous years, the newly updated rooms they claim to have on their website are a farce.  They couldn't see any updates.

GET IT TOGETHER PEOPLE!

Update: November 17th and still no deposit.  I e-mailed them and next I will be calling and chewing them out.  Bob hasn't gotten his back either.  WTF?!?!

Beautiful wine country setting with many of my favorite wineries near-by including Clos Du Bois and Chateau, Chateau Souverain (recently purchased by Niebaum-Coppola), and Ferrari-Carano. Located close to the River Rock Casino if you want to hit the slots. Be sure to grab breakfast at the Hoffman House Cafe next door or Santi down the street.

stayed here for two nights for drew's cousin's wedding. the location was really convenient given that the wedding was in the middle of vineyards and nowhere near a large city with multiple options for accommodations. as such though it is a bit pricey per night since they know that your choice out there is a barn or your car. however, the rooms were clean and well-kept even though the tv was tiny. there is also no elevator which was a major minus for a lazy ass like myself. i made the boyfriend carry my suitcase up the stairs. however, there is a little pool and again it's conveniently located in the heart of wine country so its definitely an acceptable place to lay your head after you've done too much wine tasting.
