Ok, first off, if you're into those frou frou places to get your hair done, don't bother reading further. You'd hate it here!
Upon entry, you'd think you just walked back in time to the 70s. Everything about this place is out of date lol. The decor, the chairs, equiptment... some clients... BUT the ladies who work here are awesome! Funny, chatty (some men might not like that - it drives my husband insane lol) and if you're looking for gossip or to spread some (lol) - this is the place to go!! If you're above 60 and love that poofy see-through hair, go to Jill, former owner - she's off on Fridays. She's great with older ladies - I would send my mother-in-law but she probably would criticize the ambience lol! If you're halfway normal and would like a more modern cut - especially if you have short hair or thinking about going short, go to Marianne! She's Norweigian, a ton of experiance from Norway to California to Memphis... and is hilarious! She's off on Wednesdays and every summer, takes an extended trip back to Norway for six weeks. Lisa is the owner now and she does hair too... she has mix clientele... men, kids, women, you name it. I don't know much about the rest... but these are the couple of ladies I would recommend to get a good cut. Oh, if you don't like hairspray like myself, TELL THEM! :)
