All,
I don't give 5 stars lightly. And I wanted to share my windshield repair experience with anyone who cares to listen. This repair was performed on a vehicle that is my baby. The make and model is irrelevant...but the repair experience is VERY relevant. I got myself a very complicated starburst type, rock chip in my windshield. The damage came with the standard streaming cracks. The cracks were growing with the increasingly warmer days of May. One crack ran for about 3 inches out from the point of impact. The same crack took a sharp 90 degree turn and spread about another 3 inches. Every repair shop told me the windshield would have to be replaced. As I continued my research, I came across Georgia Windshield Repair (GWR). I research GWR and was satisfied with my findings. I spoke with Lee Ledbetter owner / operator and sent him photos of the damage. He explained what I could expect from his repairs. He came out and performed the repair and the results were exactly as he described them; the total repair time was one hour. The repair was completely smooth and flush with the surrounding glass. Word to the wise, GET THAT WINDSHIELD DAMAGE TAKEN CARE OF AS SOON AS POSSIBLE...AND KEEP THAT WINDSHIELD COOL as in out of direct sunlight on days that are warmer than 40 degrees. The longer you procrastinate, the longer the crack will become, and the longer will be the repair bill. So, save yourself some money and get it fixed as soon as possible. And rest assured will Georgia Windshield Repair will not do a repair if it is not feasible.
