Gelato Dolce Vita

This gelato place is hands down the best in the state! If you're a gelato lover, you absolutely have to give it a try. Trust me, one taste and you'll be hooked! Plus, it's conveniently connected to an Italian grocer, adding to the authentic experience. Highly recommended!

Efficient service and a calm atmosphere. I'm a huge fan of the affogato, but their cups and cones are delicious and the portions are generous! This is a great spot for a cute and casual date, or a sweet way to end the day.

Okay, I did NOT expect to stumble into the best gelato I've had in the Valley on a random trip to East Mesa.

Gelato Dolce Vita is a small shop attached to an Italian restaurant that serves up delectable flavors -- I genuinely enjoyed each one I tried! I ended up selecting the blood orange, since I was looking for something unique and fruity. However, the espresso and stracciatella also have my heart!!

The texture was perfectly dense and smooth, and the friendly staff fully packs these little cups. You can even choose two flavors with any size. The only trouble you'll have is figuring out which flavors to choose!

I highly recommend coming here! Best gelato in Mesa. The people working here are so friendly. The gelato is marked colored dots to help you find which flavors have lactose, nuts, gluten, eggs, and peanuts. It's a little small inside, but has a Mom and Pop vibe that's inviting. I ordered the Rocky Road and it was delicious. My husband ordered half lemon and half strawberry and the lemon is definitely our favorite!

Great authentic gelato! They have a variety of flavors to choose from and there is always a line since there's an Italian restaurant next door. It's a small location and there's not a lot of places to sit, but the service is quick.

Came here for gelato with my dad! I ordered a combo of the chocolate/forest cherry. There were lots of flavors here and these two tasted great together. Pretty good gelato and one of the best places in the Phoenix area that I've found.

I LOVE this gelato spot. I went to Italy for a month and ate so much gelato, and let me tell you - this is right up there with the best gelato I have ever had!! The staff is super nice - they are welcoming and give you excellent portions, which make getting gelato a bang for your buck! I would come here every day if I could.

There is usually a line here even in winter. For good reason. Great tasting gelato!

Vanilla blueberry swirl, didn't disappoint! My boyfriend got a cookie butter and that was yummy too!
