Okay, I don't know why car insurance isn't a category. But, if you are like me and you don't want to pay a lot for car insurance and still get decent coverage. Go see the people at Geico on Stevens Creek. First off, remember I haven't had a car for six years. I haven't had to have car insurance for six years. But my driving record is clean and I was able to take advantage of student discount. Then as if some divine insurance god was watching over me after I got my policy I got a job at the office building right behind them!
Okay, for around $400 you can spend on mediocore insurance or you can get decent insurance with road side assistance and not worry about car rentals being outrageous ( as a member I just got a discount notice from Enterprise pretty cool )
Then there is the convenience of not having some insurance agent named joe bob call you up after signing on and asking you if you'd be interested in home owner's insurance (after you told him and wrote in blood you live in an apartment)
Maybe its the Green Lizard ad at Camera Cinemas or maybe its the funny talk about a show based on the caveman or just maybe it is a good deal and I think you should know.
Geico is a POS company that doesn't care about their drivers IN THE LEAST. all they're out to get is a buck for themselves and don't care if they screw their drivers over.
so get this. i got in an accident. someone crossed over 2 lanes to make an illegal lane change and drove into me in the rear quarter panel/passenger door on my car. i was going straight, she just drove right into me. pretty straight forward, you'd think they'd be 100% responsible right?
nope. geico took over 2 weeks to resolve this claim, and in the end, they still found me partly responsible for the accident because... get this. because i DIDN'T HONK. what the fuck? really? they don't want to pay for all of my damages, so that's what they come up with - is that some how ME HONKING would have stopped the accident from happening, so i am responsible for that. really? the whole deal has been nothing but a headache and they're a piece of shit. i couldn't believe how ridiculous the whole situation was, it was really incredible.
ok geico, thank you, NO PLEASURE AT ALL doing business with you. i'm goin' somewhere else. i realize every insurance company is gonna be looking out for their best interest, but honestly this left a really nasty aftertaste and i'm taking my business elsewhere because i just flat REFUSE to give anymore of my money to them.
don't give your money to people that won't help you! SAY NO TO THE GECKO!
GEICO is the worst compnay. When I filed the claim they denied the payment even though it waas 100% GEICO insured fault. Then the procss has to go to arbitration since they continue dispute which could take 3-6 month. The adjuster never return my call even after she promised she will. It is their job to review the case and update the status, but they never did except denying the payment. Looks like most of GEICO clients have very min coverage, if you get hit by GEICO customer you are screwed. They do not even pay enough to repair your car. I recommend everybody swith to another insurance company!!
