But they're now remodeled and they're a perfectly acceptable budget motel. There's a bunch of these places in Monterey and, even if it's the middle of the summer, I won't pay more then 50 dollars to stay in them. I simply filter through orbitz until I find the one which isn't trying to gouge the Monterey tourists by charging 150 dollars per night for a hotel which is worth a third of that just because it happens to be July.

Remodeled equates to new paint, carpet and sheets, sheets that don't fit the bed, although the bed was fairly firm surprisingly! Noisy Noisy Noisy!!!! If you require any level of peace and quiet to get a reasonable night of sleep stay far far far far away!!!!!!
