I went to Dr. Eggers at the recommendation of the lovely Audrey B, and she was right - he's fantastic. Everyone at the office is incredibly nice, from the front desk to the dental hygienists. Dr. Eggers is prompt, thorough, extremely knowledgeable, and very friendly. He takes time to chat with each new patient and really puts you at ease. Highly recommended if you're looking for a dentist in the Bay Area.

I have been going to Dr Eggers since I was 5. I once went to another dentist when I lived in New York City, but no one, NO ONE, compares to Dr. Eggers. Dr. Eggers is nice, honest, and has an appreciation for teeth that I have never experienced anywhere else. I also have never had a cavity since I started seeing Dr. Eggers.
My boyfriend hadn't been to the dentist for a while due to a bad experience back in the day (with some other dentist), and I convinced him to go to Dr Eggers, and he has been a happy patient ever since - and he is not someone who had much trust in dentists.
I'd highly recommend Dr Eggers, and so would everyone else in my extended family - they go see him too - even my grandfather...

I can not speak highly enough about Dr. Gary Eggers!!
Since moving to Northern California from Santa Barbara County, six years ago, I have only found one dentist that I actually like, believe, and trust, Dr. Eggers!
Top three reasons:
1. He takes the time to speak with you about your teeth!
2. He shows you what he is explaining with a camera and a mirror so you understand!
3. He does not try to talk you into unnecessary procedures!
One bit of advice that Dr. Eggers gave me about flossing was doing it somewhere you like, his recommendation was the shower!

Dr. Eggers is awesome! The first time I saw him, I hadn't been to the dentist in years and he was so nice about explaining what work needed to be done in my teeth (10 fillings!). I saw him almost every week for about 2 months. Every time I went, he helped me relax (its nerve-wracking to go to the dentist!), and he was always cheerful and talkative. He didn't try to do anything abnormally painful and always made sure I was numbed enough before trying to do anything. He also made an excellent orthodontist recommendation, and I've been satisfied with my braces!
Dr. Eggers is thorough, personable, and a great dentist!

Great dentist on the Welch corridor (I used to work around there so it was convenient for me). Very friendly, but no unnecessary chatter. I was referred to him by a co-worker, and I found out later that a friend of mine from Los Altos went to him, too. No pushing of unnecessary procedures - he even dissuaded me when I inquired about whitening, and from what I understand from my dental school friends, bleaching trays have a high margin. Oh, and he has that cool fiber optic camera so he can show you what's going on without craning around the tiny mirror. In a DDS variation on Scared Straight, he may even show you the album of pathology photos if you're lucky.
