This is, by far, the best B&B in which we've ever stayed (which was February of 2007). It is a huge mansion tucked way back in the woods of Hannibal.
The rooms are cozy and wonderfully decorated with antique furniture and paintings. We stayed in the Rosewood room which had an attached bathroom with a very large claw-foot bathtub that fit two comfortably.
They provide an excellent breakfast. In fact, all the food they served us was excellent! They open the dining room to the public for dinner in the evening. So, even if you're staying there, you have to reserve a table. And you'll definitely want to do so. The dinner is magnificent and worth the price (which is a little high). But you're on a weekend getaway, live it up!

We had an outstanding time enjoying this B&B and interacting with the guests and owners. They made everything just perfect for a weekend getaway. Just watch out for Nurse Betty if you stay near where she stands guard.
