Their Chile Relleno burritos are grrrrrrreat!! A little on the greasy side - which personally I don't mind eating, I more mind the messiness and the thought of the fat clogging my veins, but I enjoy the flavor of it all so immensely I'm good at ignoring the "not-so-good-for-you" part.
Co-Workers and I phone in our orders during our morning break, then pick it up at lunch. It's fast, convenient, and considering how cold it is right now, one of the best forms of an internal heating system ever!!
I have also enjoyed their carnitas burrito. -

Garden Market :) Truly a hidden gem in the area for delicious and homemade mexican food. Garden Market is not really even advertised as restaurant really, it is just a Mom and Pop little market and butchershop with a kitchen in the back that happens to make some of the best burritos around. Just meander on back and look at the hanging menu, order, watch the ladies make it for you and enjoy some complimentary chips while you wait! (Careful, the salsa is usually hot!!!) Ive only had burritos here, ever. Theyre that delicious haha, but Im sure the rest is just as tasty!
On a side note, also one of the best butchershops/meat markets around as well! He has many cuts and many great seasoned meats as well! His Carne Asada to take home as well as the baja chicken is amazing once BBQ'ed. Go out and support some local lovely people and enjoy a fantastic burrito. -

Little neighborhood market with deli in back serving very good burritos, also tortas, tacos, best item I tried being the chile relleno burrito with top notch rice and beans and solid hot sauce.

From the two other reviews I'd figure the chile relleno burrito is the way to go. It was super tasty. Enormous given it was only $4. Only gripe was a bit greasy, but still was great burrito that people should try.

Wow, I don't know why Garden Market hasn't been reviewed yet. (Other than the fact that it's located in Santa Paula, which isn't exactly a hot destination.) Garden Market is more than a grocery/butcher store, it is a place where you can order delicious, fresh Mexican food. In the back of the grocery part of the store there's a little counter where you can place your order (there's a menu posted above the counter) and then watch them prepare the food. There's often a little bit of a line, but I never had to wait a heinously long time. And there's usually a basket of fresh tortilla chips and a bowl of fresh salsa to snack on while you wait (this salsa tends to be fiery). They offer a fabulous veggie burrito and a chile relleno burrito that practically defies description. I've been told that the lengua (tongue) burrito is also very good. This is food that you will dream about when you leave...and, in my case, move to an area that is seriously lacking good Mexican food.
