My husband and I enjoy coming here every once in awhile, he LOVES their carne asada! But we have to be careful when we come in, we've found that the food and staff are better when the restaurant IS BUSY. If we come in later or when it's slow we're usually disappointed over something.  I've been to parties here and the staff never seem inconvenienced in serving. All in all though it is typically great food for a great price, and I've had the Margarita's, they are very good!

Went here with a few friends last night. The salsa and bean dip they offer free with the chips is great. Also the food is great. This place is not the best place in town but its good. The service was not to good. the place was not even busy and the waiter have a bit of an attitude. But overall it was ok.

Augh. I can't believe that person ::points down:: gave this place one star. I love Mexican food, and this place has become one of my faves. Two semi-local friends I've made are huge fans as well.

Before you get your entree, they'll bring you a big bowl of freshly made tortilla chips, along with a bowl of tasty salsa and another containing a yummy bean-n-cheese dip. It's rather addicting.

They have an extensive menu, though I've only tried two of the entrees, my favorite being the chicken fajitas. The spice those tender pieces of chicken perfectly! I've never had better.

Plus they have very generous portions of food. Unless you're ravenous, you're likely going to have something to take home. And what's better than fajitas with your morning coffee?

In addition the veritable fiesta of fine food options, they have an array of yummy margaritas, both of the traditional and assorted fruity varieties. (Not a margarita fan? They have a full bar to boot.)

And I've never had anything but great service. They're very friendly and attentive. If anything, perhaps a bit too attentive, though certainly not rushing you or trying to force more food down your throat.

So seriously: If you're hankering for fresh, delicious, non-greasy Mexican food, check out Garcia's.

Is this a chain?  It seems like it, though I don't recall ever having seen another one by the same name.  Regardless, it's no good.  No good at all.

The service was crap.  Despite being pretty empty it took forever to order, forever to get drinks, even longer before they would let us order, and another larger than normal chunk of time to get our food.  Also, they blatantly up-sell the same way to every customer.  I got really tired of hearing "Are you ready for your fried ice cream?!?!".

The food was gross too.  And my margarita seemed to be without alcohol (but not without massive amounts of sugar).
