3 reviews for Gap Kids
This store has GAP, GAP KIds & GAP Body in it (2 stories).
I have purchased "typical" GAP items here for my little girl - lots of jammies back in the day - and a pair of jeans for myself.
No big whoop - it's the GAP for goodness sake - but saf, disposable clothing for casual wear. Not a great bargain - but not too expensive either.
Spacious fitting rooms.
Good luck getting help though. Check out lines can be long during weekend and holiday shopping rushes. Try going at 11 AM on a Tuesday.
A Gap Kids is a Gap Kids. I prefer to shop online for more selection. I think the clothes here are durable and inexpensive. My daughter lives in the toddler embroidered jeans.
The staff at the Gap Kids on Walnut is phenom!! I LOVE these girls. They are like my retail BFF's. Most of these wonderful ladies have babies themselves. I could hang here for at least a half an hour just chatting them up!
Positives: First off, I'm loving the spaciousness of this giant, 2 story property. This store uses its racks to break up the floor space into smaller 'alcoves,' if you will. It's clean, bright, and very neat. For some reason, bigger Gaps show up on listings as Gap Kids or Gap Body. They are locations large enough to hold mens, womens, maternity, kids, accessories, and body, which includes bathing suits aplenty in spring. There's also the product red section, and I've never seen a dressing room area as lovely as the one here. This store has relatively late hours for the area. Usually open until 8pm as opposed to 7.
Negatives: unremarkable offerings. Yeah, that's a Gap problem, not a store-specific one, & that's why Gap's profits have been dropping over the past few years. Am I really supposed to be impressed with lame tank tops and khakis in boring pastel and basic colors? Ugh. I can't stand the utter drabness of Gap's line. I also don't think their hoodies are worth $40, nor their plain old shirts for $25. I'm not understanding the pricing in this store; it's like paying a premium for coolness, except... there's actually no coolness.
