I must start this review off by saying that I am not a gamer - never have been, never will be.  I was pretty good at Pong.  I could handle Space Invaders, Caterpillar and Ms. Packman and then it all started to get so confusing and involved and so many buttons, buttons, buttons.  I had a boyfriend in highschool who used to get frustrated with me when we played video games together because he thought I wasn't trying.  I was giving it all I had.

Flash forward 20+ years and I find that, somehow, I managed to give birth to a son, who appears to be a budding gamer.  Those genes definitely came from his father.  The two of them really enjoy hanging out together at Gamer's Lounge, in dimness, sitting on leather sofas, and playing video games on big-screen tv's.  This is not my ideal way to spend a day, but it suits them just fine.  

This is a small family-owned and operated business that is so tween friendly.  They have a big selection of games, some snacks and prices that will make you wonder how they keep the doors open.  I think they charge about $7 an hour/per person.  They also offer day passes and they have even offered sleepover nights in the past, although I don't know if they still do this.  You can take the place over for parties too.  This place is tween heaven!
