This gorgeous 6000-sq.-ft. gallery was founded 2 years ago by partners Jason and Mike, who are childhood friends from New Jersey.  The gallery space occupies a section of the 1923 building that was formerly the Bijou Theater, with its 28' ceilings, archways & curved ornate crown mouldings.  What a backdrop for the outstanding contemporary art pieces.  The current show includes sculptures by Maddy LeMel, who groups multiples, both common and found objects, to form impressive wall-mounted & hanging creations.  I am a tough critic and I loved these.  There were long unrolled scrolls of music for player pianos hanging from the ceiling.  (I always wanted to unroll one of those from my grandparents player piano when I was a kid, so my vision was finally fulfilled.)  Other wall sculptures were made from transistors, wisteria pods, keys  -  rusty or painted, I couldn't tell.  I really liked the black stockings 'sacks' filled with grains, dangling in clumps.  Could picture that one in my foyer.  God, I love good art.  Art rocks me.
