Gado Gado has very classic and distinctive Indonesian furniture and accessories.  Just about everything in this Amsterdam Walk store is hand carved and chiseled wood.  The craftsmanship is impressive resulting in excellent quality pieces.

Gado Gado has tall hutch cabinets, masks, statues, paintings, shelves, chests, tables, chairs, daybeds and benches that are all Indonesian inspired.  From the moment you walk in the store, the smell of the wood lets you know everything is valuable; like furniture from the early twentieth century, it is all built to last.  If you're interested in exclusive and somewhat eclectic furnishings this is a good place to go.  For product images and details go to www.gadogado.com.

This furniture store, tucked away at Amsterdam walk is a real gem. The furniture and home decor are imported from Indonesia and is one of the bests import furniture stores in Atlanta. This is not your Pier 1 or Cost Plus World Market variety. This store is the real thing, offering unique pieces from artisans anc furniture companie from Indonesia. I especially love this hand carved bed they have with a wood canopy and a stool attached for putting your house slippers on. As one reviewer said, wood is the predominant material at the store but you'll find that it's solid and well carved. They also sell Indonesian jewelry and trinkets which make fun gifts for yourself or someone else. Even if you're not in the market for furniture, it's still a really cool place to browse.
