We went here saturday night at 9 and the place was a ghost town no cars no lights on and a handwritten sign that said they were closed tonight even though they say they are open til 2. Wanted to try something new but i guess pocket bar wasnt it. We went to buffalo wings and beer across the street instead.

Wow, my wife are or were regulars here and tonight we walked in and everything is different. They used to have a great menu but that's gone, all Korean type food. No more Burgers ! The waitress spilled my drink on me and the table and she used her hand to clean it up. All food is served in paper cups with plastic forks, we asked for plates so we can share our meals and we got little paper cups but honestly, the portions are so small there isn't much to share.

Hi Gary,
I completely understand and appreciate your review. People are always reluctant to change; we are creatures of habit. However, our decision to change is based solely on offering something fresh and a new experience. We wanted to move away from offering typical bar food found in your typical bar, such as burgers.
The bao buns and rice bowls we offer now is unique to the area and found only in more urban areas like D.C or Baltimore. We wanted to bring this experience to the local neighborhood without having to drive to D.C or Baltimore. The buns are of a small portion, about the size of a palm, similar to a taco. The rice bowls are our larger portion that two persons could share.
If you are willing, please provide feedback on our current food and service. If you did not like the bao buns or rice bowls, please tell us. If the service did not go beyond your expectations, please tell us as well. We always appreciate customers feedback and will continue to find ways to improve based on these reviews.
Thanks,
Patrick - Ulysses J.Silver Spring, MD963Apr 3, 2017First to Review
This place reminds me of Cheers where everybody knows your name. The people are friendly and the clientele is mixed. The steak and cheese is good and so is the Cesar salad. They even have specialty days where they have BBQ'S on a smoked grill foods and fish fry.

Don't do it!! Have you ever walking into a place and knew you should just turn around and leave? This is that place. The food is awful at any price (worst wings ever). The "double loaded fries" where really an order of salt with a few fries mixed in. The drinks are cans or bottles, no taps of any kind. The online pictures do not show the real place, it is a small, black toilet. Eat at 7-11, you would be happier.

Love this bar. Cozy little chill spot. Normally come on Wednesday night cause they have karaoke. Happy hour is good. Love the bar owner Roland. He makes everyone feel at home.
