Fusionhair is for down to earth and cool people. No fakeness and no pretentiousness. Otherwise stay away please!
The location is in WeHo, a block away from Beverly center. It has big parking lot behind. There is no way you wouldn't find a spot, it's well thought of the businesses that surround.
So, I was looking for Euro stylist for a long time and I found him here, at Fusionhair.
Very funky salon, with funky design and funky hairstylists. I loved the people who wereas stylists and as customers. Very cool for LA.
I chose as my stylist Jez, based on my intuition. I felt he can do it! and he DID IT. He gave this bubbley, short, textured and amazing looking haircut.
I hadn't have this nicely cut short style on me for a really long time. I was happy the moment I got out from there, cos I could feel on me that he did what I asked for AND it matches me a lot.
ALL I HAVE TO SAY IS THANK YOUUUUU, you got another customer in your list.
p.s. if you're a straight guy, and you got a haircut at Fusion, AND you got excited because you love it, you can totally go to the next door strip club to celebrate (if they're open in the middle of the day) :D j/k
Hmm.. It's hit & miss.
They are generally nice, (LA nice, LOL) but pricey.
The new location looks good & very contemporary yet has a lil too much light from the street.
The set up is not as private & make you feel like everybody are in your business. Something about the vibe.
If you got a good hairstylist over there, go for it & keep it since service is not consistent over there.
I stopped using this place, yet I would of give them few more chances with my hair but not within those prices.

Fusion Hair Salon is the best salon that I have ever been to. My hair is naturally curly and I always want to wear it straight for the shows that I do in Hollywood (I'm a comedian). I always insist on looking as amazing as possible, so quality is important to me. THANK GOD I found this salon. They make me look adorable each time I step out of this salon.
Highly recommend you try the salon... highly...
I haven't had a haircut since I moved to LA from Chicago over a year ago. My mane was getting out of control so I thought I'd treat myself for my birthday. I'm extremely picky and I did a lot of research on yelp before settling on Fusion (plus they were open on a Tuesday.)
It's a cute salon nestled next to a strip joint on La Cienega near the Beverly center. It seemed pretty quiet on a weeknight and I was attended to right away when I arrived. Cassy was great! I told her that I wanted to update my style and take a good chunk of length off. Right away she made some great recommendations. She was very knowledgeable about what cut would suit my facial structure and my thick hair. Plus she's the first stylist who didn't scoff at my request for thicker, fuller bangs. My haircut is fresh and super cute (if I do say so myself.) And I don't know what she did, but it seems to feel and move like hair out of a Pantene commercial.
I have been going to Emily at Fusion salon for almost two years now and love her. She always knows what I want, or has great suggestions when I want a change and have no idea what to do. I've recommended her to plenty of friends and they say the same!
Salon has a great laid back vibe, fun music and great staff.
I am a long time Yelp lurker and first time poster so here it goes:
I originally called Purple Circle to try and make an appointment but they were booked solid and you know how it is with your hair: when you decide you need to fix it or make a change you generally want to do it RIGHT NOW. So instead I called Fusion after reading a few reviews, good and bad. My hair was a disaster and I do mean a full fledged disaster:I have been growing it out and trying to go back to blond after dying it drug store box black for years. It was fried from using sun in as well as a variety of other evil products. I also had the most retarded half mullet as a result of getting $4 hair cuts while I was in the Philippines. I was so frustrated with my horrid hair that I was just about ready to take a trip to the dreses Supercuts but lo and behold, Emily at Fusion saved me from certain catastrophy!
I came in and no one aknowledged me. That bugged me for a minute but oh well.. thus is LA so I let them know I was there then Emily introduced herself and said shed be with me in a minute. I was expecting to be scolded but she actually LIKED how the color had faded. I asked for an angled bob and got rid of about 4 inches of frazzled hair. She took a look at the pictures I brough and gave me EXACTLY what I wanted. She asked along the way to make sure I was liking it and made good amount of conversation; didn't talk my ear off and didn't let me sit there in silence either.
It cost me $70 for the cut and I left a $20 tip.
All together a terrific experience and I am going back to her for some color correction soon! Highly recommended!
I actually thought about changing after work before coming here so as not to be stereotyped for my haircut. I have found this to be a chronic problem when going into a nicer salon if I'm still dressed up for work.
I am multi-faceted and this is not always the easiest thing to effectively communicate to your hair stylist to create the appropriate cut.
How do I explain except explicitly that by day I have to wear business casual because I often meet with c-level execs and people 20+ years my senior, but on my way to and from I like to blast Ghostface in my car, that I need my hair to function for the upcoming Snoop concert, but also for the indie dive bar, but that I can't deal with bangs because I need to be able to pull all of my hair back because I am a cyclist and my hair's too thick to use most implements.
Betcha wanna see this haircut.
Miah did a great job and I'll probably come back. Also nice: friendly people, clean, minimalist.
emily emily emily!! LOVE this girl! I was on the hunt for a new hairdresser and did a lot of online researching and review reading before finally settling on Emily at Fusion. The salon is super laid back and not uptight at all. Emily is really friendly, she listened to everything I was saying and gave me constructive comments for how to take care of my hair, style it, and what looks best for my face, complexion, etc. I was taking the plunge to do bangs and was nervous, but I must say this is the cutest haircut I've had in years and I will be Emily's client as long as I am living in Los Angeles!!!
100% fabulous! I am SO SO SO picky about my hair... i get panicky... especially with curly hair... noone ever knows how to blow dry it, and that you DON'T brush it!!! I also have RED hair, which is also a hard color to get correct and maintain. Aimee is MY GIRL!!!! I have driven and flown miles just to get her to do my hair. She is a dynamite colorist and a fierce stylist. I got the funky cut I wanted... AND a kickin color that for some reason lasts me WAY longer than any color i have ever gotten. How is that??? Aimee is magic. hehe.
But, seriously... great staff, easy location, free parking in back, and incredible results!!!

I'm a hairstylist myself in Norcal and had the opportunity to use the facilities at Fusion Hair. All the stylists here are amazingly talented and very professional. Their clientele ranges from the young to the young at heart.
A good friend of mine Jennifer Bailey works here and she's amazing when it comes to cuts and color. She happens to be an educator for a company called RUSK, who are innovators in the hair industry. Always revolutionizing the way the industry cuts and colors hair.

Love this salon! Miah gave me the best haircut in all of my 37 years and let me tell you... I am NEUROTIC about who cuts my hair. Used to only get my hair cut in NY but now will only go to Miah at Fusion. Also have a friend that gets her hair cut by Miah and she loves her too. Salon has a cool vibe and everyone there is very friendly.
UPDATE- well, I do like my cuts from Miah however, I think the first cut she gave me was the best and ever since then it's been almost but not quite there... (sigh)
I was so hesitant to try a new salon that I was driving home to San Diego every month to get my hair done from my old girl.
Thanks to Yelp and CitySearch, I found Summer at Fusion and she's AMAZING. She's great with color and cuts - which is hard to find. Summer is very knowledgeable with both top-notch training and instinctive skill.
Fusion is a cute and funky salon without the snooty attitude found in most LA salons. I highly recommend Fusion and Summer!
I have been following my lovely colorist Michelle from the valley to now Fusion in Hollywood. I will not let anyone else do my highlights! She is the best blonde colorist above all!. I recommend her to all my friends who drool over my beautiful blonde highlights!! She listens to what YOU want and doesn't just try to do an art project on your hair. Always natural and always beautiful. SHE IS THE BEST!!
