This spot is not bad! I only went to the water park (Splashtown) but it sits right next store to the Funtown amusement park which to me didn't look like much. The water park has all sorts of slides and even two kiddie pools. It has the latest types of slides and even one that is without a tube or mat. There is even a kiddie area with water pouring all over the place and obstacles. It is a pretty neat place for all ages. Use your AAA card to save even more money on both parks. You can get an all day pass for pretty cheap. The prices are okay but still high. A very good time!
This is really a good place for tourists and kids in the area, but for anyone over the age of 13, most of the rides are incredibly boring. It's also extremely overpriced. Skip the trip or two you could take to Funtown and splurge on a trip to Six Flags.
Best place to go in Maine during the Summer when you're a kid, have kids or if you just like waterparks and amusement parks. I used to go here allllllll the time when I was a kid. I prefer Funtown over Splashtown (although you can go to both in the same day).
