This is where I celebrated the new millennium.

The place the serves greasy pizza for kids birthday.
The place that sucks away all of your quarters as you try to beat the zombies on a shooting game.
The place that you got whiplash from the old bumper karts.
The place that made you feel awkward for playing their so call miniature golf.
The place that you spend your summer playing in batting cages.

50 years from now when people ask me where I was when I celebrated the year 2000...
I would proudly tell them I was here.

Dear Funtasia,
I'm sorry to bring this up, but your owners are neglecting you.  You need to sit down with them and explain that you are a great business opportunity.  You just need some TLC.  Let them know it's time to get out daddy's credit card.  Your carpet is embarassing!  You are dark and outdated.  But you really are pretty on the inside, Funtasia, and with a minor... uh.. extensive facelift, you could be the total package!

Funtasia!  Palace of fun!  I mean, what do you really expect from this place?  I recently came here for a friend's birthday (we're in our mid-20's, don't worry about it) and had a BLAST.  We did the batting cages, mini golf, and a couple rounds of lazer tag.  SO MUCH FUN.  The mini golf was run down but again, really can't complain because I wasn't  really expecting the professionally landscaped greens of Rainbow Run at Willows in Redmond.  Skeeball = always fun.  Lazer tag was soooo much fun!  I felt like a kid running around, sweating after five minutes, and tapping into my inner secret agent skills, hiding behind blacklight obstacles.

On another note, the pizza was delicious and huge.  I think I was hungover the night before so it definitely hit the spot.

Mini-Golf, Go-Karts, Bumper Boats,  oh my.

My lovely wife took me (upon my request) to Funtasia for my birthday last summer (I think it was "last" summer. They say the memory is the first to go). We'd seen adds on TV for it and it looked fun.

It's just east of HWY 99 on 220 SW on the right side of the street. Here's the deal: You walk in and you buy these tickets/tokens for the games/rides, etc., and then proceed to shove kids out of your way.....I mean, patiently stand in line in an orderly fashion until it's your turn (why, I otta!).

We had a blast here, especially the Bumper Boats, yes, boats. You don't just bump each other but you can fire a water cannon at someone and drench them. Needless to say , yours truly wanted to go on this ride more than once and with the temps in the 80s that 20th day of August, getting drenched felt good.

Then it was on to the Bumper Cars. Unlike elsewhere, Fantasia gives you more time, power and speed to toss yours and your opponent's vital organs (includes brain) around. Delightful!

We had a nice relaxing game of their respectably-sized,  indoor/outdoor adventure-themed mini-golf course. Lots of laughs there. I'm no golfer.

Next, it was outside to the Mini-Indie  gas powered go kart track and while we didn't race anyone that day, it was fun to watch.
There's a lot we didn't do there mainly because everything else (the arcade games and laser tag, etc.) was pretty much indoors.

To sum up: Kids, young and old, will have some serious fun here without the extremely long lines of say a Wild Waves or something and there are plenty of fun things to do.  Check out their website for more information on rides and games but be warned, if you're a kid and you cut in line in front of me at the bumper boats this summer, your going down. ("Let go of me! I thought he was a shark, I'm sorry! C'mon, it was just a wedgie!")

I will add to Phil's review that there are also batting cages along with many video games to have your brain sucked dry by, along with your wallet....  Don't expect Game Works caliber here, but in a pinch it satisfies...

There are also "games of skill" aka "wallet sucking demons" to play and collect tickets to trade in for "prizes", strangely most of those items can be found at your local dollar store, for a lot less!  But it's all in good fun, right?  Pleeeeeze Dad!!!  Sheesh....

Pizza and tube steaks are served, mainly for the birthday crowd, served up by the ever present pubescent teenagers working their first job, just keep that in mind....

This is a great place to play, "Line Police" to teach those little farts what it means to cut in front of an adult who's been sober for little under 7 hours... I kid, I kiiiiiid!!!

I took my 9 year old to Funtasia this weekend and was pretty disappointed.  We did the following ativities: bumper boats, laser tag, miniature golf, and playland.  Almost all of the equipment at the park is aging and on the border of needing to be repaired.  The miniature golf course is one of the most uncreative I've ever played and has looks bricks all over the place.

The real kicker is the price you pay for this.  For my son and I to play laser tag together for five minutes it cost $14.00 worth of tokens.  The combo package makes it a bit cheaper, but not much.  For reference, the sum of the activities I described above was $38.

Keep your eye out for coupons.  I saw a few people in line using them.

Its fun and there are lots of things to do, but it's a bit run down. The ball crawl and mini golf courses have seen much better days. The bumper boats only work half the time and the whole place needs a good cleaning. I saw a large brown stain on the carpet by the ball crawl and don't even want to speculate on what it was...

That being said, kids love this place. What the hell do they care about brown stains or non-operating bumper boats?

This place needs to be torn down or at least get a good cleaning. I swear there has to be dirt from the 70's floating around this joint. Afforadable? No it is not. Loud? Yes it is. Fun? Maybe for 12 year olds and younger.

i've been coming here for years. from birthday parties to just messing around with friends... i was here hangout out. the batting cages are horrible for a date- unless it's just the guy batting. i've made a fool of myself too many time.

i like how it used to be... before they renovated the game ticket area... and the lazer tag. it was easier to win prizes and all my friends used to work there and hook me up. heheh. the lazer tag was much more fun back when i was a kid... because it was an air-bubble in which you bounced around... now it's a walking/running ground space. oh well.

the go karts are the main attraction, though. i always have a butt-load of fun. no matter how old you get, you can't get sick of go karts. on the downside... i've always wanted to try the bumper boats... but the thought of the alligator haunts me. =/

I have to say that I agree with Michael D. This place is very disorganized and I felt like I didn't dare to touch anything. The prices are outrageous and did I say there is no organization. Kid are running around everywhere while parents are running around looking for their kids. The whole experience was not one that I want to go through again because I know there is a better way to do things. For kids it is hyperville and for most parents it is not only a headache but a financial burden. Let's take our kids to a birthday party...feed them lots of sugar and greasy food..let them run around like wild animals and then try to maintain your cool. Doesn't sound like a good experience to me!

We took our kids here once for a birthday party in the miidle of the day, and once on a Friday evening.  The birthday party was fun- they played in the play area and there was virtually no one in the place.  However, Friday night was a different story.  The place was packed, the play area was packed, we couldn't find a place to sit and eat, and the food was mediocre.  The clientele was, let's just say, a little iffy.  I will not be taking my children back there unless it's 11am on a Monday morning.  Like most other comments, the place was dirty- had to keep giving the kids sanitizer all night long.....
