I had a great time jumping out of a perfecty good airplane at FunSkydiving.
Great people, very professional instructors, safety is their priority.

Yeah, and not on the landing strip like they were planning, so no video of me doing a landing, instead I had to help get the parachute out of the branches and wait to be picked up. Not quite what I was expecting.
Still, for $200 I got to do my first tandem skydive with some great guys so 3 stars automatically, and if you check the videos on their website you'll see that everyone has fun. Posting the videos on the web is a great idea and what sent us here more than anything. Be warned it's over $100 to get filmed though - you do get a nice 10 min DVD though.
Our bad landing was due to a gust picking up when we jumped. Ground control were trying to call the plane to cancel the jump but we didn't get their messages - kind of scary in retrospect. In fact wind was a big problem. This is a small-fry operation with a small plane - 2 tandem jumpers max at a time, only one if you want to be filmed by a cameraman as well. The small plane means they can't go very high (10000 ft) which is pretty crappy. Height is everything with skydiving. Worse than the small plane though, is the small landing area they have. This means that if winds are even mild or in the wrong direction they won't do any jumping and you'll have to hang out. Sucks.
