This unassuming restaurant is best for take-out, and has some of the best curry dishes in the area.  Be sure to check your order before bringing it home, as they've screwed me pretty bad in the past  (MEAT in my tofu dish).

Recommended appetizers are the crispy tofu - they give you a TON and it's very reasonably priced, in addition to adding spring rolls to the dish, thus negating your need to order them.

The Massaman Curry is super excellent, as are the Spicy Tofu and Pineapple Fried Rice dishes.  If you eat in the restaurant, I'd recommend walking to the back garden.  It's adorable and quieter than sitting close to the noisy kitchen.

The service is always friendly and fast.  In this area, it's the best food you'll get for your money.

no thanks.  Ordered the tom yum soup, the nam sod, the pork with string beans  and a papaya salad..

Thai food is pretty easy to prepare for the most part.. A nam sod for example has very few components.. Thats why it is so shocking how badly they screwed up all the food.

I  dont know what they could have added to make the food taste so bad..

Quality of ingredients is super poor..   Gross.

Decent enough chicken pad thai that I'd order it again.

The Tom Yum soup (got it with Shrimp) was missing the hot and heavy on the sour.  No cute little whole mushrooms like other Tom Yums, just slices of unexciting gray mushrooms like I'd get with my chinese food.  Lots of nondescript vegetables to clutter up an already challenging broth.

The interior is cute and next time I'll eat there and check out the backyard.   Perhaps it adds to the taste somehow.

I live a couple of blocks down Fulton and always order from them.  There's a really nice old lady who runs the place.  We usually get our food delivered, but during the non-winter months we sometimes eat there. The backyard is really kitsch-y.  Lawn gnomes. Odd flower pots.  The inside if pretty non-descript, but the service is fast.

The food is really good. Cheap. I'm a big fan of their spicy thai noodle, their pad see yoo (sp?)  and their pineapple fried rice.  They're all pretty solid. They have these things called golden bags that are basically deep fried dumplings, but are called golden bags. +1 star. I'm a fan of this place.

I first ate here with my uncle and cousin after they helped me move. The tom kah gai (chicken coconut soup) had a bit of an odd, sour taste to it, and no red chili, but I was starving. I had shrimp pad thai, usually the safest bet when your options are limited. It was okay, but again, starving. The service was excellent, and the waitress was extremely nice, so I kept them in mind just in case I was ever desperate again.

Well, about 2 weeks ago I was again super hungry, and needed delivery. I called them up, hoping maybe the pad thai would be better with chicken. Order tom kah gai again, just because I can't resist. I was debating between golden bags or dumplings, and had the idea of asking the woman who was taking my order which were her favorite. Ok, golden bags it is. Delivery took about 30 mins, not too bad, and everything was still hot when it got here.

Unfortunately, the soup was again oddly sour, and not spicy at all. The golden bags just tasted...weird. And the chicken in the pad thai was really overcooked, along with the sauce tasting wrong as well. Really could not recommend this place to anyone, no matter how desperate.

Not that great.  I usually order Pad See Ew and it was okay.  I'm always disappointed when they use regular broccoli opposed the traditional Chinese broccoli.
Seems hard to find a really good Thai restaurant in the hood =(

decent thai for the area! ive had the green curry and it was tasty but definitely not as spicy as usual (white-washed flavor).

the lady always fills my cup of water like a hawk, so i guess that's good! also rice is included in the meal for free.

*be aware that the delivery guy is not thai and only rides a 12-gear bicycle, so dont expect him on a moped like many a thai guys in the motherland use.

Another imaginatively named urban Thai restaurant, don't forget their neighbor Thai 101.... !
Maybe I've been cooking too much and ordering take out too little but their pad thai is not hitting the spot tonight. Too much grease, not enough (any?!) coriander. I will give them 3 stars as I haven't tried anything else on their menu yet and I usually find pad thai a little blah. Portions were smaller than Thai 101 but felt equally gluttonous after eating.
I have to start making my own because I know I can do it better...

Yeah, I agree with the other reviews. I got the spicy string beans, the steam jeeb and the thai salad...

The dumplings were good...in my mind it's hard to mess up dumplings.
The major disappointment was the "salad," which was iceberg next to overcooked vegetables.  Not really my idea of a salad...but maybe I was reaching too high.

I've eaten in house before and their service is fine. I will stick to traditional thai stuff next time...spicy string beans, etc. The beans were good and I will probably order from again since they are close to me.

I stopped in here last night after aimlessly wandering Fulton Street looking for something, anything, to put in my mouth.  The women working  were very nice and very cute.  I ordered the Spicy Tofu and a beer.  The beer was icy cold and delicious, a perfect companion for my swiftly delivered and true-to-its-name Spicy Tofu.  All the menu options were pretty darn cheap and when asked, they said they would deliver to my apartment.

At one point during my meal, a guy came in and asked if they had shrimp.  They told him he could have shrimp in any of the dishes listed on the menu.  He explained that he wanted fried shrimp with neither vegetables nor rice nor sauce.  The older woman (seemingly the mother of the younger) came over and again his request was voiced.  Though I was not watching, I could tell from her voice that she was kind of appalled.

"You need to go Chinese restaurant!" she said.

Ha!

Ok. So a bad back threw me in a loop and I couldn't walk anywhere.  Then doctor gave me some pills to help bad back but that really threw me in a loop because my legs turned to jello.  High Five.
Didn't have a huge appetite but, through the drug-induced haze, I still knew it was important to (A) eat & (B) not use my gas-stove.
Then another bomb came: internet was spotty.  Menus weren't accessible.  So Yelp'd up Fulton Thai and gave them a call.
"Yeah, um. Hi.  First.  Do you deliver?"
Yes.
"Ok. And do accept credit cards?"
Yes.
"Splendid.  Oh hello cat! how are you my precious?"
[purred to cat while she looked at me in a stupor]
"Right. I'm on the phone, aren't I? Hello.  Yes.  I'd like to make an order for delivery.  But here's a challenge: I don't have a menu.  So.  What do you recommend?"
[pause while she began to think]
"Wait! Oh! do you have chicken satay & sticky rice?" Well, of course they would.   Hello: idiot moment.  But you must excuse the bad behavior.  Doctor really knew how to drug the kid up.
"Yes. Would you like that?"
"Uh huh. My hands feel like sandbags.... Can I have some fried tofu, too?"
"Yes. We have a $15 delivery minimum.  Your total is $12.75, what else would you like?"
Golly geez.  Child here had next to zippo appetite and needed to order more? Hello lunch for the week!
"What do you suggest?"
"I really like the Thai Puff.  You should get that."
"Ok.  I'll take it! Have I reached $15 yet?"
"Yes.  And your address please?"

So I gave her the address & 13 minutes later - when I was deeper in muscle relaxer's lovely, amniotic warmth - delivery man knocked on my door. Both animals escaped in a frenzy.  Cat, in what I like to refer as her "let's pretend I'm a lion in Africa" prowl, slinked down the hallway while dog was hopping up and down and up and down, repelling off of this poor delivery man's leg.  It took me about three wobbling minutes to corral the animals back into the apartment. Then I realized that he needed to carbon copy the credit card (so old school!).  Then I remembered that a signature & tip probably was a good idea.

After that adventure, it was time to eat.  Sticky rice? V. sticky.  Chicken Satays?  Best I've had in a long while.  Fried tofu? omigod.  Better than my favorite NC Thai place that I regularly visited during my wild college days.  Never got to the Thai Puffs because I was going to save them for lunch and then I kind-of-sort-of forgot about them in my boss' mini-fridge (we blamed the muscle relaxers) - - but they sure were pretty.

And the good news is that I now have a menu. And, after casually breezing through its list of delicacies, I have to admit that the Crispy Banana Fritter Topped with Honey & Sesame Seeds sounds pretty damned delicious.

Cheers to good, bountiful food (that lasted appx three dinners and, hypothetically, two lunches) and superior service & patience.  Some folks really could've taken advantage of a girl in my state.

Ate here for lunch today. Food was alright, just run of the mill americanized thai food. What made it better though was the delivery factor. That always gains 1/2 star for me. Anyhow, ordered the Pad Thai and Pad See Ew and drank the Thai Coffee and Thai Tea. The thai coffee was a little sweet, but the noodles were decent. Prices are relatively cheap so its decent for a quick and simple lunch.

I should have known by the poor Chinese take-out menu like design that this place was going to be bad but I just moved to fort greene and do not know the area well yet. The Chicken Pad Thai was not spicy nor sweet (either would have been fine) but bland with what tasted like tomato-like sauce. The Beef fried rice also had tomato-like sauce on it. WTF? The food did not taste like Thai at all.
