Found this little Chinese restaurant just driving around one Sunday afternoon and noticed it's window said "New York Style Chinese Food." That intrigued me so I asked a friend who really knows Asian food and he thought it might mean that the food was more Chinese than the Americanized Chinese food we usually see here in the states. Well, he was RIGHT! It's a small restaurant (not a buffet) in a small strip mall at the corner of Clinton Highway and West Emory Road in north Knoxville. They have lunch specials under $5 that include the entree, rice, and soup, egg roll, or soda but they also have a full menu that looked very good and had a variety. The wonton soup I had with my lunch was good BUT it had three huge wontons in it that were very good. The curried chicken was also excellent and it tasted like you might expect food to taste if you ate with an Asian family in their home. I've only been there once, so far, but I'm going back real soon.
