My boyfriend and I stayed at his family's vacation home and spent our 1 Year Anniversary weekend at OBX. We had our anniversary lunch at Fuji and enjoyed our first Hibachi Grill experience, as a couple! :) The service was excellent and the staff was very friendly. Our Shrimp Shumai appetizer was excellent! They offered lunch specials that were very affordable and made us feel very welcome! I enjoyed my hibachi steak combo and my bf enjoyed his hibachi steak and shrimp combo. The meat was very tender and flavorful. We came back towards the end of our trip and called in 2 orders of Shumai to bring back with us to Virginia Beach for my sister. I highly recommend Fuji! Thank you for the wonderful experience on our very special engagement! :)

After an amazing first experience there in '10... we had a less than stellar experience and we didn't even step foot in the restaurant!! We called to say we had a large party and were planning to come in at a certain time since they did not take reservations. The gentleman who answered, said that the time we wanted to come in was too late (even though he said that he was open until two hours after that time period) and to come in at 5... Large party willing to spend a lot of $$ on food & drinks and are told when to come in?? So sorry, you just got crossed off our favorites list...

We eat here every year because our young kids love it. It's a typical hibachi type restaurant. Nothing more, nothing less. The food is typical. The "show" is typical. And the atmosphere is "typical".
They do serve sushi as well and both me and my wife thought it was good. Not awesome, but "typical" and good. It's fun; give it a try. -

Strange smelling place. Sushi bar was very good and the hibachi looked decent, but I have definately been to better quality places that are similar to this. Good prices. Good service.
