I ate here a few days ago with some friends. They raved about it.
Sure, it's in a crummy location, and is kinda...blah inside. But the rolls, they claimed, were delicious. I got two rolls, Eel 52, and a dragon roll. The dragon roll was very nicely displayed and tasted yummy. I didn't like the Eel 52...in fact, the eel tasted kinda funny on that one. I finished it, though, because I was starving. ...and regretted it a few hours later when my stomach felt like it was going to explode. I dunno if the eel really was bad, or what...but I didn't feel so well.
The owner's kids were running around the whole time...with squirt guns. I hoped that they weren't actually filled with water. Well, when I stood up to leave, I found out...they were. The little brat squirted me in the forehead...and on my back. I didn't yell at him or anything...just walked away. Little kids do things like that--I just don't appreciate getting squirted with water at a restaurant. *sigh*
Service leaves a lot to be desired. No matter how many people they always seem behind. Plus they burnt my TNT roll, it should be raw in the center not cooked through.
