This is a very nice Fuddruckers, they have these cool soda machines that can make 100s of different combinations of soda. They also have an area that sells ice cream as well as your standard Fuddrucker self service condiments bar.
This also at the Bay St. shopping area so it's a nice option for food while you hang out/shop/watch movies there. -

I like Fuddruckers and eat here from time to time after we go to the movies. I gave 2 stars because my food was good. I love the burger buns and fries. The customer service however is terribly lacking!
After my cousin and I dined, I decided to purchase some food to go for a friend. While waiting for my food I saw a female worker place some food in a to-go box and sit it up on the counter. I continued to talk to my sister.
After 20 minutes I went to the counter inquiring about my food. A young lady told me it wasn't ready yet. 10 minutes later she grabs the food that had sat on the counter added fries and calls my name. I had a clear view of her. When I arrived to the counter, I told her I didn't want a burger that had been sitting for 30 minutes! She TOUCHED THE BURGER and told me it was still hot and asked me to feel it. I said no, I would like some freshly prepared food. She then slams the food in the trash and walked off.
This was ridiculously RUDE! She came back to the counter only because another order was up and she had to call it out. She did not make eye contact nor tell me what was happening with my order.
I asked another female worker to get the manager. A young man who did not appear to be a manager came over. He listened to my complaint and made sure my order was in. I showed him which worker had offended me. 5 minutes later they were laughing and talking and she was not reprimanded in any way for her bad behavior.
Not acceptable at ALL! Fuddruckers is one of my favorite burger stops, and I am very upset by this incident. This incident will affect if I go to this location again. -

This is the nicest Fuddruckers I've been to. The thing that caught the eye of everyone that walked in the door were the touch-screen Coca-Cola machines. There were 100 drink options. For example, if you click Coke then you have the option of orange-coke, raspberry-coke, lime-coke, vanilla-coke, and regular coke. It was pretty cool.
I liked that the menu had meal options. They have 4 combo options and you can get regular fries, onion rings, or a salad. I haven't seen this at any other Fuddruckers. I had the chicken sandwich and it was delicious. Piping hot and cooked perfectly.
If you want ranch then you have to ask for it at the counter. The ranch is delicious too! -

Food is okay...they need more workers at pick up station to get orders
To customers in a more organized way. Will not eat at this location anymore-only in Concord! Boo for their long wait and poor Customer service! -

... Every time I come to Fuddruckers, it has to be for the decor, because I can not explain why else I would be doing this to myself.
The chicken tenders are just fine, but of course for the price, it renders them not so great.
I have also had a cheeseburger, which was not bad, but nothing incredible.
Maybe I should get an ostrich or elk burger. I have been here multiple times to order normal items. No more of that! It is the new year, I want animals that have been running in the African Safari! Only good things for me from now on!
Will update you with the other burgers! -

Chain? yeah. In a godforsaken neo urban strip mall? yeah.
Delicious bison cheeseburger and awesome spicy steak fries?

The food from this location is definitely a disappointment, compared to the Union City one. Being daring and adventurous, I got the buffalo burger with the Southwest toppings (~$11.50). Maybe I'm not the foodie I think I am because I did not enjoy the burger too much. There's a hint of gamey-ness to the meat that is off-putting. The cashier forgot to ask about the patty size, so I got stuck with a 1/2 pounder. A wee too big for my appetite. Even the bacon on the burger lacked the crispiness that'll make it good.
The one cool thing about the Bay Street Fuddruckers is the two soda dispensing machines (with LCD touch screens), which claims to offer you a choice of 100+ variety of soda. I opted for the strawberry-flavored Sprite. Yummalicious! -

What a disappointment. I got the elk burger cooked medium rare thinking I'd be eating some crazy exotic stuff, but it just tasted like really juicy lean meat. The flavor was definitely missing with the meat tasting like it was just boiled in water. I think the flavor would really come out more if it was grilled or charbroiled. By the few last bites I was already sick of it. The taste just got boring which didn't have much of it to begin with. It was just really juicy meat.
For 11 bucks to get only a burger with cheese and unlimited condiments, I probably pass and not recommend this to anyone. With such a poor experience, it's hard to give this place another shot with a different burger. My friend got chicken strips for 7 bucks and it was good but nothing special. Sucks, this place has the competitive menu but doesn't bring it with the taste or value. -

If I was summoned to lethal injection and was offered any meal to be my last EVER, I would choose to bury my face into a Fuddruckers 3Cheeseburger.
2 slices cheddar.
1 Slice mozzarella.
No lettuce. No onion. No tomato.
Just meaty, cheesy deliciousness.
They really do have the best buns in town! -

Tasty burgers, endless condiments, jalapeno cheese sawce, OH MY~!~ I had the swiss melt burger with grilled onions and seasoned shrooms, and it was hella tasty. i always get the flies, and supplement them with a tub or two of the jalapeno cheddar sawce, tiz quite bomb. I also add some tomatoes, salsa, and a bunch of pickles to fulfill my daily value vegetable requirement.
The venue here is nice. I was *hand flick* SHAWPPPINNGGG for furniture, and got quite hungie after a few hours. I saw the fuddruckers sign and new i had to take a snack break here. Always tasty toasted buns, 1/2lb burger is quite sufficient, even for a fatass like meh, and I kinda felt sick after finishing it all....but in a good way.

The service is pretty quick, and they offer a variety of different meats, all in burger form. With beef, chicken, turkey, buffalo, elk, "kobe" beef, and ostrich, you're pretty likely to find something that you enjoy. The burgers range from typically sized (1/3 lb) to potentially lethal (1 lb.)
I'd never had more than the 2/3 lb burger, and I only got that without any fries. They've renamed the menu. They have names like "The Original" instead of just only showing the weight of the pre-cooked ground beef.
The place used to be more like 3 star overall, but the last time I went there, it was better than before. The service has always been good, though. When I worked at the AMC Bay Street 16, I could get food from here on a 30 minute break and come back without having to rush at all... no matter the hour. After a while, the girls that worked there (back in 2006 or 2007) started giving me free drinks.
I don't have that luxury anymore, but this is still one of the best places to go if you're eating at Bay Street. The complex as a whole is nice, but if you're looking for a burger, you really can't go wrong with Fuddruckers. It's no Island's or Five Guys, but it's good for what it is. -

For some odd reason, I'm only drawn to Mushroom and swiss burgers when visiting Burger joints....if they don't have it, I won't eat a burger. Simple as that.
We decided to come here for lunch before hitting the theaters and I ordered a Bacon swiss mushroom burger, potato wedges with a Heineken (they could expand their beer selection a bit). Apparently I enjoyed it because I ended up woofing it down in less than 10 minutes lol.
Don't ask me what movie we watched because after that beer and burger, I think I went into a food coma several times. -

So I'm a big Fuddruckers fan, but this Fuddrucking place didn't have the options that should be standard at a Fuddruckers. Not cool at all. Sure they have all the meats, and the burgers are delicious, but they don't have the 1/2 and 1 pound options that I need in my Fuddrucking restaurant. Not cool at all.
Having said all that, I will probably go back because I live right there and I always crave a good burger so if you're not a fatty and don't mind having just a regular burger than by all means go on ahead.
Oh but another thing is that they couldn't make a combo out of the Turkey Burger. What is that? Yeah that's just rude. Fuddruckers these days.
Holler at the greatest restaurant ever... The Big Burger in Carson, CA.

Nothing too out of the ordinary about this burger place, but the meal prices ($8-$12) are worth the amount of food! You can even upgrade your meal for $2 for a shake!
Personally, I'm a rootbeer float kind of person, so I paid a little extra for that. I got the 1/3 lb burger meal, added guacamole and cheese on for 50 cents per extra topping. You get a choice between fries, onion rings, and a salad. My burger was juicy (cooked medium) and there's a little cart in the center of the place that you can add your own toppings!
It's a very friendly environment, great to come eat at after you've had a long day of shopping or after watching a movie. It's very family friendly, especially with their picnic-looking table covers and the paper towel rolls in the centers of the tables (for you messy eaters) -

NO. This place sucks. It wasn't very clean, and I didn't get a good vibe there. I had the Kobe burger without a bun. I asked if it was served in a lettuce wrap, and the dude said yes it was. When I got it, no it wasn't. It was on an unbendable piece of romaine. I ordered a side salad and there weren't any salad dressing options loaded with sugar. Plus, my side salad arrived with cheese on it (not listed on the menu, I'm allergic) and a giant piece of buttery garlic bread. Nope. Take the bread back. WTF. THEN the really terrible part was when my daughter's meal arrived. She's 2.5 and loves hamburgers. I ordered her a hamburger. What arrives? Giant wedge fries and a chocolate chip cookie. Did I ask for fries and a cookie?
I don't understand restaurants like this; giving extra cheap carbs because some misinformed consumer sees "value" in that. We threw away the cookie and fries, thank you.
We won't be back. This place sucks. -

Swiss burger with fully-loaded potato. Split both with the bf...filled us both even though we shared. I didn't really understand their pricing, but felt like the few cents wasn't worth arguing. Swiss burger includes swiss cheese...so why would we get charged it on the receipt? It's like they give us a break-down of how much each ingredient costs...but it still didn't add up to what was on the board.

Like heaven in my mouth! I seriously could not stop talking about this place after I first had it. I got the Works Burger with bacon, mushrooms, and american cheese. YOU WOULD NOT BELIEVE HOW PERFECTLY THE CHEESE MELTS IN YOUR MOUTH! and the bun...oh my god, the bun. So buttery, so delicious.
They also have a station where you put on the condiments and vegetables yourself, so its really convenient for a picky person like me. The service is also very quick so that is also a plus! I am definitely coming back here and trying out their exotic burgers :) -

Despite my skepticism, I actually really like this Fuddruckers. I came to the same location about 3 years ago and I had no recollection of what I ordered/ate. Yesterday, friends and I stopped to get dinner before the Hangover 2 (which wasn't good, fyi).
Atmosphere: Order at the front. It's super casual and good for families. It can get crowded but the line moves fast.
Food: Not feeling like eating some heavy burger meat, I got the Golden Gate for $7 (cheese, mushrooms, honey mustard) with a grilled chicken breast. Overall, the sandwich tasted great, especially with the honey mustard and mushrooms. And, I didn't walk away feeling sluggish or super full.
What's awesome is the condiment bar - with all the normal burger topping in addition to other items like jalapenos and salsa. It can get overwhelming, but it's so great to have so many options.
I shared fries with my friend, which are potato wedge-like. The seasoning is yummy, and it goes great with the jalapeno cheese sauce!
I'd definitely go again for a casual night out, or before a hopefully better film. -

My boyfriend and I came here to grab a couple drinks and some fries before our movie. He got a Heineken ($3.75) and I got a Bud Light Lime ($3.00). Side note: don't try the bud light lime, it smells like Mr. Clean and tastes like soap.
We ordered french fries and onion rings (~$6) -- they were NOT good. Especially the onion rings, the rings were not crispy at all, it was soft despite it being deep fried, and the batter was worse than the time I made my own onion rings. The frozen onion rings you can buy at the supermarket taste better than Fuddruckers. The steak fries were whatever, nothing special - again, the frozen fries taste better.
I haven't tried their burgers, but the fries and rings are a NO GO for me. -

Wow...I've passed this place no lie hundreds of times and it never dawned on me to eat here. It just didn't look like a place that sold veggie burger. Unbeknownst to me, they sure did!!!
Mu burger was great!! My Cali BFF suggested it and I must say I turned my nose to it. I love that the place has a condiment / toppings bar!!! Great idea :)
FYI - the milkshakes are Dee-Lish-OUS ;) -
Review from eli b.
They've got some surprising things here. Elk, ostrich, buffalo, wild boar. The first 3 are all WAY healthier than beef, like 1/4 the fat and cholesterol, more protein etc. I had elk - a 1st for me - and it was 100% delicious, pretty similar to ostrich and buffalo. It also happens to be a lot more expensive than beef, but I'm ok with that for a guilt-free burger. And on a wheat bun.
The manager who took our order was a really good guy. I asked if the had a salad bar. They don't, but he let me know that lots of people use the massive condiments bar to basically make a salad. That would have been a stretch, because - as for salad makings - there was really just iceberg and tomatoes. But I did take a ton of tomatoes with his quasi-encouragement.
Steak fries were really good too.
One suggestion that kept this from being 5 stars. Get dijon. It's bizarre to have the full range of condiments, but not dijon. It's basic and has been for at least 20 years.
Still, great experience. -

Escape cruising Bay Street on a cold foggy day before the movie. This is the best place to get a fun down-to-earth lunch and warm up.
This place was love at first sight:
* Very cool menu, including specialty game meats like buffalo, wild boar, elk, and ..um.. oustrich burgers, everything on a home made bun! Fries is delicioso!
* Beautify-your-own-burger condiment bar, including relishes, tomatos, lettuce, and much more
* UNLIMITED hot molten nacho cheese with jalapenos
* Pacifico Beer
* Unlimited fountain drink refills
* Lively red and white checkered table clothes
* Old-school pinball machines and other games
* Restroom
I like the no-nonsence atmosphere: order your food, get it from the server, enjoy. Staff are super friendly. Food tastes great every time (and I have been here 4 times already), never failed!
A gluttony fest before the movie! What can be more satisfying? -

I find beauty in all things.
Once long ago, when I was being put through my professional paces, when I was an apprentice, I developed an almost unnatural fondness for Fuddruckers. I recall it as if it were yesterday, though in a backlit Cybill Shepherd kind of way.
I was practicing the art of surveying on Federal Highway in Fort Lauderdale. I'm not a surveyor, but physical metrics play in my profession and playing surveyor fixed a place for the practice in my imagination that helps make me better at what I do. Across the street from a project property was a Fuddruckers, and it was there that my boss would take me to eat to escape the heat, to reward me for a job well done. The first time we went neither he nor I realized that my job that day wasn't so well done. That as I ran the instrument and he the rod in between shots I would turn the transit to the left to see across Federal Highway because that's where the ladies of the evening worked. And in South Florida the ladies of the evening worked in the daytime and were far more enjoyable to look at than the ladies of San Pablo. And, as I would discover later, spying on these industrious lasses required my raising or lowering the glass, as they weren't on my level, and sadly for me I neglected often to re-level the instrument upon turning back to measure what I was being paid to measure. As a consequence, the topography of that Texaco station on Highway 1 when rendered on my diagram back at the office resembled a smaller version of the Sierra, all spiky with great peaks and valleys.
I went back the next day to resurvey it on my own.
I ate at Fuddruckers again. I laughed at myself (oh, Magoo) and eased the lingering distress brought by inattention with another cheeseburger and fat fries.
Not much has changed at Fuddruckers since then (much has changed with my working habits). All I can think of in terms of new and improved are the specialty meats they now proffer. Kobe Bryant beef and ostrich and buffalo and such. Because killing a broader range of beast makes us better people.
There's one at Bay Street and when I go to the movies there I'm drawn like metal to a magnet. They are predictably good (thanks in part to the chainyness, I guess), have many offerings from which to choose (though I choose the same thing every time), maintain a fresh toppings bar with tidbits I like, have a bathroom that is typically wrecked by all the younguns but who really cares it's a bathroom.
I like it a lot. I want to go tonight. -

Looking to grab a quick bite before my movie started, I decided to stop in at Fuddruckers. Found the cheapest burger as I was starving, but didn't want to go break, so I ended up going with the original burger (4.95). The taste was pretty good and I like that we can add our own condiments. The amount of condiments they have for burgers is amazing and its all you can fit onto the burger. The crispy buns were simply perfect with the meat.
TLDR; A little expensive, but worth the visit. -

Not a huge fan of the food. I got a baked potato and found it wanting which doesn't say too much for the rest of the food, but it was a nice place for a conversation with friends, and the location is pretty good.

If you come to Fuddruckers, you know you're gonna leave happy. When I come here, I always like to get the one-pound burger for the value, the size, and the zomg factor of it when it's ready for you to pick up.
Burgers here share a common factor. Except for cheese and things like grilled onions/mushrooms, there's a bar your fixins like lettuce, tomatoes, onion wedges, etc. For your burger, you can choose sizes from the stardard quarter pound to the one pounder (which is the much better deal, even if you don't finish it). The one pounder, make no mistake, is HUGE. Not just the patty itself, but the bun itself is enormous. It's not the most flavorful burger in the world, but you'll be happy with what you order. I order my burger medium rare (and sometimes rare -- though they definitely undercook rare for some reason) which always comes out right.
Try the potato wedges and onion rings if you're not already dying from the size of your burger. The wedges are coated really nicely and are packed with flavor.
I am a ketchup of fiend so with my one pounder, I think I pretty much demolished a bottle of ketchup. They have a variety of other sauces that you can put on your burger too at the condiment bar (including BBQ sauce, cheese, and hot cheese sauce -- not something you see often).
Be sure to hit up this place if you make a trip to Emeryville. Highly recommended. -

I'm not sure why this place has bad reviews, I had seen the bad reviews and wasn't about to go until a friend convinced me to go. I went and had to leave a good review to deter anyone thinking bad like I used to because of the bad reviews. The place is big, clean, the staff is nice and most importantly the food was delicious. Multiple choices to choose from, get your own condiments, free refills and a good environment.

Review from Marck n.
If you go here, you must order one of the game burgers. I had the elk burger. It was moist and juicy, cooked medium rare. Leaner than regular beef burgers, I didn't expect that. You couldn't even taste a hint of "game" in the meat. Which is good, as I slather it with the accommodate bar (lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, etc). So good that I made myself a salad from the accommodate bar.
When you eat bad, you gotta eat something good. -
Review from Karen L.
Fuddruckers looks like a fun place to hang out with your friends and grab a burger. Unfortunately, I'm not a very big burger person. I do like burgers, but I like them packed full of flavor; I find most burgers I've had to be quite bland. The burger I tried here was quite bland. It's cool that they let you use all the condiments you want, but sometimes it's hard to save a bland burger. The burger patty was sort of tasteless. I mean, the burger wasn't that bad--I still finished it--but I've definitely had better burgers (is it wrong to say I prefer a McDonald's big mac?).
But maybe I'll come back to try their other burgers--they sound promising. -

Ok burger place - I've only really gotten the kid's menu entree here, and I liked how they actually gave one to me. So, for the kid's meal - great taste, and great price!
Nice restaurant interior, but I'm not into giant rolls of paper towels in place of napkins. -

Fudruckers, your burgers are good
just like all of your other food
I especially like the specialty sunrise
eat that with nacho cheese and fries
Then you'll be happy that you listened to me
cuz I'll tell you to get chili on your fries and add nacho cheese
That stuff will make for a great night
but I tell you the truth, when you leave there, you won't be light.
This place is good for a solid burger, yet they're a little on the pricey side and therefore I'd go there only on special occasions. To give a little tip, the BEST burger I've had there so far, actually the best combo, has been the Sunrise burger, and a side of chili fries. Then you get the free jalepeno nacho cheese and you get chili cheese fries :) (the cheese they add is "eh" but add the nacho cheese and you get "mmmmm".
Lastly, if you're with others, a good way to save a buck is to order a half pound burger and split it to get two 1/2 lb burger. Just an FYI.
Also, don't get the specialty burger that has guac and bacon. Their guac was subpar and not tasty at all. -

Honestly, I haven't had a burger from Fuddruckers. But my favorite thing about this place is the fact that I can order from the Kid's Menu without being told no.
I ALWAYS order the chicken bites from the kid's menu. And it isn't even kiddie sized at all! They are three large chicken strips with a basket of fries. You also get a kid-sized drink (which you can re-fill whenever you please) and a cookie! An all for only $5! I was with friends and they all thought I was crazy for ordering it, but once they saw what I received, some went right back into the line to order this in addition to their first order. It's such a great deal and chicken strips are really great in quality.
I also love how you can add warm, melted cheese onto your fries at the condiments bar. So delicious! -

All you can utilize condiment bar, stocked full of lettuce, tomatoes, salsa, onions and what ever you would like, man, it makes any burger into the ultimate burger.
If you are craving a good burger that's full-filling and just right , this is the spot to go. They have many different size burgers and if your in for a MONSTER attempt the 1LBS burger. (ITS HUGE) and on top of that, they will cook it to order.
Now their specialty burgers offer a variety of tastes that make you wonder. I have tried both the buffalo (very tasty) and Ostrich burger and well, not what i expected but its gave me a new experience to tell friends.
At times when I can't actually eat an entire burger, the kids meal is the way to go. Priced only at $5 dollars, its filling with a drink and dessert (cookie). Again, with an open condiments bar, you can basically create your own salad and have a full meal.
I can't say enough about their fries, my gosh are they good. What sets Fuddruckers apart from most other burger joints is that they offer you free HOT CHEESE!!!! Uh oh fatness here we come! They have two types, regular and jalapeno cheese if you like a little more kick.
Mmmm Mmmm good, happy eats to you all. -

If you want a good giant burger that you can basically create your own toppings then Fuddruckers is the place to go.
Love it. The even have lots of condiments, which I love since I am a sauce guy.
Definite repeat offender. Reminds me of the old Squeezzers that used to be in Milpitas except Fuddruckers has bigger burgers.
