Whoa was this a blast from the past. I can't remember how old I was when my family took a side tirip to Frontier Town but we just visited and it is a nice respite from the endless sun and sand of the beach.
They have campgrounds, which were all full when I checked months in advance, but the main attraction may be the water park which is open to the public.
$13.00/day buys you access to the lazy river, 3 slides and a nice zero entry kiddie pool. The food was pretty good and considering they have you locked in there, pretty cheap.
My one complaint, the pool closes at 6 and so do the bathrooms.
