So many great gifts here for women, men, babies, and so on.
My new favorite gift to give is birdhouses, mostly because they have so many cool ones here.
The prices are totally reasonable. The owner is really nice and will help you out if you feel like your head is going to explode from gift-buying indecision.
I am addicted to this place. It's full of cute, charming, and unique gifts. If you have a friend who loves the movie Amelie, this is the first place you should stop to buy a gift. They have so many things stuffed into this tiny space, I have yet to leave without finding the perfect gift.
Need non-cloying baby gifts? This place will have it.
Need something for Mother's Day? They have something that's sure to charm.
Need an apartment-warming gift? They have a selection of charming kitchen accessories (bowls, chopsticks, trivets) that almost anyone can use.
Need to light a dark corner? They've got a lamp for you.
Cheaper than similar places in Boston, and the service is awesome. The gift wrapping is simple, beautiful, and free!
What a delicious place! Filled with things you want to buy!!!! I buy almost all my birthday, wedding, baby presents at this store. It has a great range of presents (cheap and expensive)... everything is just beautiful!
I have to admit that, at first glance, I thought Frog & Toad was a shop that would only appeal to little old ladies (no offense to all the sexy septuagenarians out there). I ventured inside anyway, and was pleased to find a great collection of art, journals, cards, jewelry, and and handcrafted goods designed for a wide array of tastes. Were I not a bit short on cash, I would have gladly walked off with an Uglydoll, an intricately carved bird/heart ornament, a Mexican wrestling mask coin purse, or a pair of robot cuff links. The other shoppers, who ranged from teenagers to the aforementioned little old ladies, all seemed as pleased as I. Also, kudos to the owner for carrying the classic Arnold Lobel children's books from whence the shop (apparently) derives its name, making the store cute AND literary.
This place is a fantastic little place to shop. I love to shop here for my Birthday gifts. They have a wide range of items from housewears to accessories to clothing to soaps to baby stuffs. It's a well rounded gift shop in a fantastic little area.
