Great cute little boutique. It has unpretentious, but cute fashion. The women are helpful, but if you want to browse solo, will also leave you alone. The pieces go together and many you can wear going out for a night on the town or going to lunch with girlfriends. They have cute earrings as well. Prices are fair.
They were voted 2008 #1 clothing store in El Segundo.
Amazing store in the South Bay and you don't have to mortgage your house to buy just one item in the boutique.
The owner and associates are absolutely lovely people, willing to help you if you need it and as former post stated, willing to let you browse without any pressure as well!
They just received some great new fall/winter items in and I am looking forward to going back on pay day! :) (as of late Oct. 2009.)
This store is a MUST for your shopping season if you live anywhere in Southern California. Best way to get there is go north/south on Pacific Coast Highway and take a left or right on Grand and follow until you see them on the Right hand side, corner of Colorado and Grand.... or just mapquest or GPS it! :)

This is one of my favorite little go-to shops in El Segundo when I'm in the mood for a little clothes shopping. (Which is almost always.)
Much like the other small businesses in the cute little downtown stretch of El Segundo, the vibe is extremely friendly and down to earth. It's like you've left L.A. and gone to some small town in the middle of nowhere.
The last time I was in, they had a spread of pastries and bottled waters out and we were invited to help ourselves. We'd just eaten breakfast nearby so we passed, but still, how nice is that?
The owner, Sandy, is chatty and helpful, as is the woman who works for her, (whose name I can't seem to remember at the moment). And the clothes are really cute and surprisingly affordable. There's even a couch where your husband/boyfriend/significant other/whomever can hang out while you try things on, as mine has done a couple times now.
And try on you will! The last time I was in I bought a really cute bell-sleeve jacket, a chic pencil skirt and a little black dress. And I wasn't even intending to go shopping. I just meandered in to browse for a few minutes while my husband was in a hardware store nearby. So much for just browsing.
We just moved so we're a little farther away now, but I'm already plotting my next visit to Frocks & Rocks. It's definitely well worth the trek.

Extensive selection of jewelry from local artists including Dog Eared (http://www.dogeared.com - one of my favorites).
My only gripe is they are kind of overly complimentary every time you come out of the dressing room. Listen, I know I can rock a dress but sometimes you know something isn't working and you don't need 2 gushing sales people trying to convince you differently. I'd rather they say "not for you, honey.... next!" and let me get on with it. Otherwise they are super attentive and very helpful (not to mention an ego boost).
I freaking love the 'Gundo.
I just discovered this boutique yesterday - what an amazing find! They have a great selection of clothes, accessories and jewelry at very reasonable prices. The staff was incredibly accommodating without being annoying. Their clothes are trendy but not ridiculous and much more innovative than anything you'd find in a department store. I can't wait to hit it again!!
