Are Ya'll crazy? I heart fro yo! They are by far the best. I am so sad that they closed. I went every day and every night for their acai bowl. Nothing can compare.

The yogurt was alos very good. The almond flavor rocked. Id write more but since they are closed for good, whats the sense. Still. nothing can compare!

Visit: Long time ago.

Glad to see this place close.  I was disappointed when I came here.  Product sucked and cost a lot.  There is a god.

Won't come back.  Especially since it closed down already.

I don't care for Fro Yo's yogurt.

At first bite their original flavor yogurt seemed smooth, sweet and creamy, but the finish was overly sour with a grainy texture.

Furthermore, they had no fresh fruit toppings. I counted a total of 14 toppings that consisted entirely of cereal, cookies and candy.

I finished about half my order before I tossed it in the trash.

IMO, Fiore still has the best quality frozen yogurt in Hawaii, followed closely by Red Mango. Yogurtland's fare is actually slightly inferior, but at least they offer a ton of choices in yogurt flavors and toppings at a flat rate.

Anyway, word through the Korean grapevine (Koreans seem to love opening and running frozen yogurt shops, hehe)  is that Red Mango is planning to open 13 more locations throughout the islands and Yogurtland is planning to open one more location in Market City and another in Pearlridge.  And, drum roll please.....Pinkberry (my favorite yogurt shop) is coming in 2010!

If this comes to fruition, Fro-Yo maybe in danger of extinction.

I absolutely agree with the other reviewers who say that Fro-yo bar is EXTREMELY INCONSISTENT and that the QUALITY HAS LOWERED GREATLY.

It's actually quite a shame, the current owners don't seem to care about the customers at all, only coming to work when they feel like it. That's okay, Yogurtland has saved us Fro-yo cravers!

**********EDIT

Decided to give here ONE LAST CHANCE...FAILED MISERABLY!

The workers completely shunned me and were more focused on their laptops than any customer.

Tried the acai bowl...NOT THE BEST ON THE ISLAND! Frozen, icy, chunky, and certainly not smooth. Frozen (NOT FRESH) FROZEN fruits are used to top it off with meager amounts of granola.

Once again, the froyo tasted HORRIBLE (powder, artificial, yick!)! What happened???

Take advantage of their loyalty card!!!!
Buy 8 and get one free!

I LOVE Strawberry & Frogurt swirl!

You really can't beat the super low calories.
32 calories a serving? that's like 5 minutes on the eliptical!

You can also buy a pint or quart of this sinless stuff to take home.

I got the green tea & I swear to god, it tasted like mint.
Idk....I wish i could say something wonderful about Fro-yo bar but I have nothing special to say. Maybe I'll come back again and see if my view on this place will change.

WARNING - this stuff must be laced with crack, because i can't stop thinking about when i'm going to have my next fro-yo fix.  though it looks like a korean bar as you drive by, this place is the frozen yogurt jackpot.  why?  it only has 72 calories (medium).  you could eat a whole quart and only ingest 252 calories!! that's unheard of.  it doesn't taste low cal either.  very filling, and only has 8 ingredients.  much healther than most low cal, low sugar, low carb stuff.  there are 50 flavors in total (they give free samples).  the coconut and cocoa kahlua were pretty good, but we went with a mix of vanilla and fro-yo and bought a quart  of green tea to go (there's a freezer in front with pre-packed quarts for 10% off).  the medium is $4 but the portion is pretty generous compared to fiore.  syrups, cherries & whip cream are FREE.. that's unheard of.

they also have smoothies and an acai bowl that i think i'll try on another visit.

plus, the people working in there are very cool... and it's not a franchise.

they're closed sundays and don't open until 4pm on saturdays.

I went today and they only had

Velvet Vanilla
Chocolate
Chocolate Peanut Caramel

That's it!?!?  Sad....but anyways, I got the Velvet Vanilla with blueberry granola and brownies...it was okay. I guess it's good because it's supposedly healthier than ice cream right?

Absolutely positively DELICIOUS. Worth a visit...even if you live on the other side of the island, which we do. UMMM a medium (which is pretty much a large anywhere else you would go) is only 65 calories- holy crap! I could eat this all day long. Flavors were delicious- I had the Raspberry, Peanut Butter Banana (WOW) and the Plain flavors all in one cup for no extra cost. I also tasted the chocolate, velvet vanilla and Kahlua which were all also very yummy. It's also quite unheard of that whipped cream, cherries and syrup are free!

Let me just say, if I lived anywhere in the vicinity of this place I would be there every day, potentially twice a day. Which wouldn't be such a bum deal bc it's SO low calorie, low sugar, low carb- practically healthy- even a diabetic can eat it! This place also has smoothies, which I will have to come back and try next time. Make your way over to the fro-yo bar and you will absolutely not regret it!

I happened to pass by Fro-Yo with my friends and so happened we always wanted to try here so we did, even though we were so full from dinner at Bac Nam!

This day my choices were either brown (Chocolate, Irish Creme, Butternut Crunch) or white (Fro-Gurt, Velvet Vanilla) so I got half Butternut Crunch and half Fro-Gurt. Fro-Gurt is their original flavor and I really liked it! It tastes just like Yami Yogurt's 'Natural.' I'm not 100% sure but I THINK I got Chocolate instead of the Butternut Crunch because it tasted just like my friend's Chocolate.

Anyway, it wasn't bad, but it wasn't super good either. I got a stamp card so I might go back to see if there are other flavors the next time I go.

Check out pics.

Well if you're going to be addicted to something fro-yo might as well be it.

Here you can shoot up on some ultra low calorie (32 a serving), low sugar, no fat, cold, sweet, smooth, delicious frozen yogurt.

How good is this place, we came here after eating a hearty six course Chinese dinner (plus a whole dessert platter) and still were able to find room. Perhaps humans are designed with a special fro-yo stomach, or maybe it's just that this stuff as my friend quoted "tastes great and is less filling"

The staff is friendly, flavors can be mixed, and the atmosphere's unique fun. Park on the street or at night in the light in the back. Whatever you do make sure you check this place out...finally a good addiction. :)

The Fro-Yo here is quite possibly the closest thing you will ever come to tasting heaven.

It does not, I repeat, DOES NOT taste anything remotely like coffeemate.

The acai bowls are the best on the island. They also have wonderful, thick, delicious smoothies. But the best thing of course, is the fro-yo. Grab a cup of this stuff and you will never look back. Every delightful memory of your childhood will swirl in your mind when you put a spoonful of their frozen yogurt on your tongue.

Try the peanut butter mixed in chocolate, my personal favorite. You may also want to take advantage of the free whipped cream and cherry that comes with every fro-yo cup. And if you come at the right time, you may catch an episode of the genius comedy, The Office!

Give it a chance! But be warned: You may end up loving Fro-Yo more than anything.... or anyone.

After reading some these reviews I guess I came on a bad day. The yogurt here is not as smooth as could be and I detected a bit of graininess. I guess the worker didn't mix the powder enough.

Dear Fro-Yo:

Love this place and the taste of the original flavor.

But there's this one thing that gets me going:

Horrible hours!!!  How can you be closed on a Sunday?  The last weeks, every Sunday, I have been craving the Fro-Yo and then every time immediately after that though, I realize you are closed.

Sad, sad news.  Please Fro-Yo.  Open up your doors to us everyday of the week!

Feelin  the Fro-Yo...just not the love.

I fell in love with the sign up that said a 7 oz. serving for $3.50 has only 56 calories and no fat!  I ordered a 7 oz. almond flavored frozen ice cream and opted for the free cherries (2).  It was pretty darn good!  No guilt, great taste, and so refreshing this hot summer.  For the number of calories this dessert has, I can live with the almond tasting artificial.  The sign said a whole quart only has 200-something calories.  I'm SOOOOO there more often.  Minus 1/2 star because the interior of the place was a little messy.  So glad I finally made it here!  Been meaning to try it for what seems like at least a year!  Next time I will try vanilla.

i've gone to froyo many times in the past year and it's changed a lot. a recent reviewer said "this isn't frozen yogurt!", and he's right - it's not. it's a "supposedly" healthy version of frozen yogurt-like desert, but it's not yogurt by any definition.  i've seen them make it (they do it right there), by mixing powder with tap water (TAP WATER!) and then pouring it in the machines.  much like powder milk or coffee creamer mixed with water then frozen.

i tried a few acai bowls on the island (lanikai juice, jamba juice, bogarts, diamond head cove, jewels and juice) and while jamba is the worst (we can all agree on that), fro yo is a second runner up for the worst and most inconsistent bowl of acai you can get. i don't mind waiting a long time for an acai bowl - you have to no matter where you go. but NOT when it ends up tasting like the ones at froyo.  sad thing is, it wasnt always like that. there were a couple of guys who used to work there who rocked on the blenders and made it smooth and tasty and it even LOOKED good, but not for a few months. both guys are gone and so is the quality - thats what happens when high school students are in charge.

customer service is inconsistent.
hours are inconsistent.
quality is inconsistent.

they used to have the tables outside but it smells so terrible in the neighborhood, now you have to sit inside - but it's not big enough, really, and froyo melts so fast  you cant really take it to-go.

in all fairness this place has potential, but it needs a major face lift of sorts: new management, new employees, CONSISTENCY with everything: every time someone else makes you a bowl of froyo now its different, different amount, different size, different amount of toppings, different quality of service, its all over the place.

acai bowls cant be that hard to get right. just need a good blender and fresh fruit - froyo doesnt have either 1.

the flavors all SOUND good but the aftertaste never is.
the list of ingredients cant be correct cuz it doesnt even show cocoa as an ingredient, and it obviously is in the chocolate - something is fishy!

after my last visit there last week its official - i'm never going back!  diamond head cove is close enough and open later, and during the day jewls and juice makes a mean acai bowl.  if you just want frozen yogurt - get some frozen  yogurt.  if you want fake frozen yogurt, have some coffee mate.

Now that we have Yogurtland on the island (soon to be two), there is no need for this froyo place to even exist.

There's no way that this stuff is as healthy as they claim . . . either that or my mind has been being fooled into accepting that healthy can be tasty.  Either way, I'll definitely be back and will probably bring home a quart too.  The minimalist design of the store is also a refreshing touch.

Fro-Yo Bar is the best!  My favorite flavors are peanut butter and lime (but not at the same time.. although they would do that if you asked!).  Their Acai bowl is the best deal I've seen on the island!  Take advantage of their stamp card to get a free fro-yo.  Their serving sizes are generous for such a fair price... I was surprised to get so much for a small.  And the people that work there are super friendly and fun!!!

I had heard a lot of good stuff about this place, but once I tasted it, YUCK!  It's like chemical cool whip -- but frozen. The texture is really weird like whipped cool whip, and the taste is a weird chemical sweetness - like that sugar free aftertaste, but it's the whole taste. I tried the vanilla and the cherry and both were just not my taste at all. I don't even want to give it any stars, but I guess you are required to give at least one. I will never go back.

When I'm riding my bike around town I always like to stop in at Fro-Yo. It's delicious, it's hard to decide but I think my favorite is butterscotch. It's also fun to watch the cool movies playing in there, and watch it with the babe workers.
