Awesome classes- even if you've never gotten up in front of an audience before- the style of improv they teach makes it easy! Teachers are cool- it's basically playtime for 3 hours once a week~
The final class is a preformance that is open to friends, family and their $5- but it's fun to get up and play in front of a crowd!
Also, these classes attract some hella cool people! Highly recomended! -

I really can't understand why more people aren't taking advantage of such inexpensive awesomeness. Seriously! When I lived in New York, there were cheap improv shows every night of the week and packed audiences. Then I moved here, and there's barely an improv scene. What's wrong with you, San Francisco?
In all seriousness, FRISCO is a gem that I wish I had discovered a long time ago. The shows are hilarious, and I was inspired to take an improv class, which just ended this week. We had a graduation show and had so much fun performing in front of an audience! Definitely at least go see a show - you really don't have anything to lose! -

I have a friend who performs in the improv shows and attending has always been a good time. It's a very unique experience, much like watching Who's Line Is It, but actually live. A few times I literally fell out of my chair laughing so I encourage those who are interested to learn more about the school.

I love the FRISCO Performance company! I've been to many shows. They are a very funny group that puts on an interactive and fun night. Sometimes they have special guest Comedians or sketch groups as well. Plus, with a coupon you can get off their website (http://www.friscoimpro...), its just $5 to get in. They also seem to have these coupons laying around as well, and are not opposed to accidentally letting you have one. :)
Also, FRISCO has Improv classes that I have taken. They are a great outlet if you want to perform, or just break your normal routine.
Too bad the SF Comedy College had to get rid of the BYOB coolness. Oh well, still worth it! -

I've gone to FRISCO twice now and both times, I had a blast! The crew is hilarious ! You get to bring your own beverages, sit back and have a group of comedians entertain the hell out of you. It's a great time, whether you're with friends or out on a date. You just have to check them out!

I've been to a few of their graduation performances, and they were fantastic! I've always felt so involved, as an audience member. In addition, I always get random bursts of inspiration to take improv workshops, after each performance I see! Unfortunately, I have never followed through... but if I were to ever follow through, I would take classes with FRISCO!
