wednesday night is half-price entree night which is the only thing that could make frazier's meatloaf better.
everything is affordable, crab dip and those deep fried pita pufflets will ruin your life with joy, the waitstaff is attentive without being clingy and they you can get beer takeout on sundays. A+

i don't know if I'd label this a dive bar or just a neighborhood bar but I like it! Usually it's a crowd of 20-something Hamden hipsters but the most "hipster" of them go to Rocket To Venus now.
Beers are well priced, food is decent, staff is attentive but a little less than friendly.
They sometimes have bands playing in the larger room, but the seating is lounge style with couches and tables - makes for a relaxing vibe!
Frazier's boasts two large rooms, which means that you get to pick between the one where the jukebox is too loud and the pool players keep hitting you in the head with their cues, and the one where the terrible local band and/or karaoke singers cause you to stab yourself in the eyes with whatever sharp implement is nearby. The choice is yours! On the other hand, the bartenders are fairly friendly, and the living-room atmosphere in the larger room can be a relaxed place to hang out with a large group of drinking buddies, provided it's not a night featuring the aforementioned bands or karaoke singers.
