3 reviews for Fratelli
Dear all college park dudes:
Take a girl here, and she will sleep with you afterwards.
And yes, it looks like a total hole from outside, and is in a terrible location. Ignore these things. Make sure to joke during the meal about how there are mafioso staring at you from behind the numerous mirrors in the restaurant.
That is all.
I'd seen this place countless times while traveling north on 295, but never had a reason or a desire to take the exit and see what it was all about. That all changed a few days ago, however, when a group of my friends suggested we stop here for quick bite to eat.
The outward appearance of Fratelli's was a bit off-putting initially, since it looks like an old iHop restaurant, and not hardly a place where one would expect to find great Italian food. But surprisingly, there was a pretty warm atmosphere inside, and the food and service ended up being excellent! Our servers were polite and our orders came out hella fast!
As some have already noted, I wouldn't exactly recommend this spot for a date (or atleast not a first date). But if you're in the area and looking for a cool, low key spot that serves good Italian food, then I'd suggest stopping by. I wonder if they offer take-out...
Went to this place per request of a co-worker. I heard Fratelli's I thought...Goonies. "We only serve tongue." Fortunately I was wrong. Try the chicken parm, delicious. I wouldn't say it's a great place for a date...maybe for a college kid but more suitable for a group a friends. It was a good time, servers were polite and very fast (considering there were only 3 other people in the restaurant) but overall we had a great lunch.
