My family ordered several small cookie trays for an event. They were extremely fresh and delicious. The rainbow cookies had plenty of chocolate on them.

Absolute favorite bakery in Long Island. I lived here for a here and visited at least weekly. The staff is super friendly, and treats repeat customers fantastic! They were always genuinely welcoming and remembered my story, that I was from Ohio and there for an internship. On one particular visit I was telling the manager about how I had friends from home visiting the city for the weekend and I had to take them cheesecake because I always bragged about it. She ended up giving me a bag of cookies to share with my friends, so sweet and unexpected!

Not only is the cheesecake out of this world, it is very reasonably priced. Being from Ohio I'm used to Cheesecake Factory $7 slices, so a $3.50 personal sized cheesecake is everything! When I left to come home, I purchased a dozen cheesecakes to freeze so I could have some NY cheesecake instead of Cheesecake Factory and that was one of the best decisions I've made! Just had my last one this weekend, and am scheming how to get more. Love this place!

Wishing I could get one of these again!

My husband and I were sent to this bakery to get our "free" 4 layer cake.. we knew there would be additional charges for upgrading the cake. We got quoted $1600 but found the price to be way to expensive for what we were asking. We were able to negotiate the price down to $850. We made the cake topper but the cake we received was nothing that we envisioned it was extremely sloppy and un symmetrical, the paint job on the cake was messy. The theme of our wedding was the great Gatsby and I was even embarrassed to be photographed next to the cake. I was so unhappy on the day of my wedding because we didn't not get our moneys worth on this extremely ugly cake. The only reason why I gave 2 stars is because the cake tasted okay. If you are getting married at Leonard's Palazzo and you want something MORE than just a basic wedding cake then I would suggest you don't get your cake from here.

And this is a fair rating.

1st time here, we were recommended the Black and White cookie. It was dry. Their rainbow cookies (my favorite) were dry. Pignoli cookies. Dry. Mini cheesecakes were 'meh' from what my family told me.

2nd time here was because I thought "well maybe I just picked the wrong ones". I decided to give it another try and find at least one thing I could crave and come back to. Crumb cake and I-can't-remember-what weren't anything to remember. Literally.

3rd time is the ultimate last time because the whole family came across rudeness. Sign says you're open until 8pm on a Saturday. Walked in at 7:12pm. Was rushed beyond belief and TWICE it was mentioned by the rude man behind the counter that "we are trying to close up". Dude, your sign says 8. He mumbled "have to change that". Since it still says 8, respect your policy and wait the extra 3 minutes it would've taken for us to select something and pay! All the other employees seem to be nice in there, but since he was rude to my entire family, never again will we step in there if we can help it. We even bought items, which I now regret. He followed us outside to make sure he closed the door.

Oh and btw, the kids said that the red velvet cake slices were dry. I told them it was the man's rudeness that ruined their cakes.

Unfortunately Francesco's Bakery is a victim of over expansion and now poor quality control. The location on Merrick Road in Massapequa is long closed along with one located at the end of Broadway in Massapequa. The main site is in HIcksville I believe with a satellite location on Broadway in Massapequa and in Johns Farms in Plainview. Petty as it is today I purchased a treat a brownie in Johns and it was stale. Months before I purchased a brownie in Massapequa and it was stale enough to lay down as a floor tile. I am done there brownies were awesome for a bit. Now I take a box out and make my own The servers must know that they are giving selling you crap maybe explains for the shrinking stores lol..

I contacted them to order a custom cake for my baby's 1st birthday and was disappointed that no one returned my call or email that I left. Poor customer service.

Only one star. If I could I'd give it zero I would. Stopped in on a whim to get 2 big cookies. Bought a chocolate chip and a black and white. Both were incredibly stale. And the real reason I decided to write a review: the 20 year old male behind the counter might well have been the rudest sales clerk I've ever encountered in person. Clearly my presence in the store was an inconvenience to whatever he was doing behind the curtain that leads to the back of the store. Just flat out obnoxious. I hadn't even put my change in my wallet yet when he'd already walked off dismissively. ABSOLUTELY skip this place. Just terrible.

I can't believe this place has multiple locations because it is so mediocre. i stopped by today and got apple turnovers (not good), a marble cookie (ugh), macarons (a joke) and a philly fluff loaf. the philly fluff was actually really good. it was the only thing that tasted like there wasn't any cheap filler ingredients. this is the second italian bakery i've come across that has tried to sell french macarons. in both cases they were awful. i don't see why these places insist on selling something they clearly know nothing about! don't even bother. if it wasn't for the philly fluff I'd give one star.

Really bad bakery. I have tried this place multiple times. Cookies, cakes and donuts have been stale most of the time. The last time I went in the man working the counter came stomping out from back like I was bothering him and asked "what do you need". He then yelled back to woman who was in back" I'll take care of it don't bother". I made my purchase of stale items once again, as I was walking out the door I could hear the two of them screaming at each other. This will be my last time in. Be warned I gave it at least 10 attempts and always got stale items and rude service.
