With all the places to eat in Atlanta, you would have to pay me to eat or drink here.  And let's be honest, I never even made it to the food.

We went with the idea of getting some drinks and food before a movie.  I arrived over an hour before showing.  By the time I actually just recieved my drink, it was 20 - 25 minutes later.  The glass was not even 100% full and it was soaking wet from where the bartender missed the glass.  I am not kidding.  Service here sucks.

It's too bad that this place is taking up valuable space in the popular Atlantic Station district.  I just hope visiters from out of town do not think this represents our Southern Hospitalty and Taste.

Very disappointing!  This place is suppose to be more upscale than your typical sports bar.  I found the food to less than mediocre, the bathrooms to be filthy, the staff less than attentive, even the TV's are small compared to most sports bars.

I even tried to let the manager take care of the situation and try to explain why his establishment was sub-par compared to the last time I visited.

Proceeded to mention the bathrooms just being unacceptable with paper towel waste all over the place.....this while the place was less than packed.  He said he would address it, but went to the rest room before I left and still no change.

The nachos were the biggest disappointment as they were covered by watered down cheese....no lie if you stuck a fork in it the cheese sauce, and I use that term loosely, would barely stick to it.....manager took half off the price....big deal.

Hamburgers were basically frozen meat patties warmed up....I expect more for the prices they were charging.

Seriously I think if they find some new management and upgrade the menu this place would be much better.

    Get It together FOX!

    Zero Stars!!!

Bland mediocre average food and HORRIBLE service. The waiter was more interested in watching the game ad chatting with friends at the bar than in waiting tables. 10 minutes to be greeted. 10 minutes for drinks, water and beer. 20 minutes for appetizer. 30 minutes for entrees which were both wrong. 15 more minutes for what we really ordered. Then after finishing and looking at dirty plates for another 20 minutes finally had to go to the front desk to ask the manager for a check.  We could tell all the other tables in our area were also unhappy.  Manager didn't even ask why we were complaining. Didn't care!  This was my second and last chance for this place. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY AT FOX GRILL!!!  Any other place in Atlantic Station is better.

I had a horrible experience with the food being cold, fries were too salty and the "grilled"chicken was cold. Sent it back and the new plate came back with rubbery chicken which was cold once again. How is grilled chicken cold? I would have gotten over that if not for the fact that the manager would not come talk to me. I asked the waitress if the guy that was walking by was the manager and she said yes. So I asked her to go get him to I could talk to him.  A woman came to the table and asked what the issue was, I told her, she said hang on and then came back about 10 minutes later and said that she would comp the meal because of the bad experience. As we were leaving the waitress stopped us and said the manager was on his way to talk to us. huh??? We just talked to someone...  she said that no that was the hostess... WTF. She went back to talk to the manager and here is what made me mad as Hell.  The manager waived his arm around in a dismissive manner as if shooing away the waitress... That manager should be fired.  Because of that one instance I will never go back. He mistreated his customer as well as his staff.

My two buddies and I went to FOX Sports Grill to watch a football game Thursday night.  The weather had been nasty, and our original plans started to run short on time - so we pulled up the menu online and said, let's just go here, eat (big menu) and watch the game (it's a sports bar, right?)

We got there, and yes, it's a nice enough place to they eye.  The staff were nice enough too.  However the place was EMPTY!  No problem, put the game on the big screen, and we're fine.  What?  No big screen?  Okay, nevermind, lets just get a booth and watch on TV.  What???  The little TV was about 15 feet away... Alright, we will deal with it.  Let's get some food and beverages.  I mean, Charlie had to be huungry / Thursday... he'd driven ALL the way from Chicago today...

Eventually a friendly waitress appeared.  With a TINY menu.  It was def no the online menu.  It was, in a word - pathetic. Okay, nevermind.  Get the gents some beverages, throw in a couple appetizers...

    Waiting...

    Waiting...

20 minutes later comes the waitress with appetizers and a couple beers which had been sitting on the bar for some time, oh, and no tea.  ("They already threw out the tea.  I can make you more..." --- ah no thanks... I'll drink water)...  The apps (fried pickles and buffalo shrimp were very average)

At this point we decided to scout out another location, full of regret for not going to Antico or FLIP...

I do not think you will have to worry about eating here as I doubt seriously they're going to stay in business, I mean, theres no way they're breaking even.

Food: I had the chicken fingers and sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries were good. In the words of Drake, "The best I ever had." If you are a fan of those, please get them. The chicken tenders were decent. Not much of the traditional crunch/breading, but they had good flavor.

I tasted the fried pickles, they were ok. Not sure if I am a fan of fried pickles so don't knock this place for me not being too high on these.

Calamari was very good. I should have order some.

Workers: Great service. Friendly. We had an issue with the Wi-Fi not working and the Hostess immediately requested that someone reset the wireless router. No attitude what so ever.

Atmosphere: Default atmosphere for a sports bar.

Note: For those that go on Sundays to watch a full slate of games, there is a $10 per person (at each table) minimum to keep the table "active." So I would advise you to stagger the orders for each person at the table.

Example, if you have 3 people in your party and get there at 12 noon.
Person 1: Order your food at 12:30
Person 2: Order your food at 1:00
Person 3: Order your food at 1:30

So just know that they don't want you to just sit there and not keep the table active because as lot of people come there on Sundays after church.

Fox Sports Grill is one of the many restaurants at Atlantic Station. Located to the right of the movie theater...it sits at the end of the street. Plenty of TVs, which is key or any sports season. They are also very willing to change channels if asked nicely.

Service - I've gone the table and bar route before and have to say they have some great servers here. Tip them well!

Prices - some of the bar food is reasonable (appetizers), but I have to say overall...a tad pricey. I understand they are probably just competing with the other restaurants in Atlantic Station, but they're a bar, with bar food. It should be bar food prices. :)

Patio - pretty large, but your view is basically cars driving by and the highway in the distance.

    Note -
    * They will not seat tables until everyone is accounted for.
    * During game days/nights - the bar has a $10/person/hour rule.

Overall...it's the best place to watch the game (whichever sport it might be) at Atlantic Station. Just make sure to get there early to snag a table/spot at the bar.

When FSG first opened, I planned a party there for GT Alumni.  It was easy enough, and the food was good enough, and everyone seemed to have a decent time.  We were in the back room, and had the food served buffet style.  There were a few complaints about the time to get drinks, but way more people showed up than expected, so I just chalked it up to that.  It seemed odd to me that while there are a plethora of TV's, there's also a lot of blank wall space, making those TV's look somewhat small.  It wasn't a bad experience, but it wasn't enough to make me want to go back any time soon.

This past Monday, our team journeyed to Atlantic Station to see the Bodies exhibit.  We came to FSG for lunch first.  We arrived shortly after 11, and all 25 of us just stood in the lobby for 15 minutes, waiting for someone to show us where to go.  The Touchdown Club was meeting in the main portion of the restaurant, so that's all the servers and management seemed to care about.  But because no one was talking to us, we were standing in front of where they had their name tags set up... so both groups got shortchanged on customer service.

We were finally shown to that same back room to one large table for our group.  There was one server to take all our drink orders.  Needless to say, by the time she got them entered and brought them back (and we were all drinking coke, tea, and water), 20+ minutes had passed.  Thankfully by then, someone else showed up, so there were 2 servers taking our orders.

We started with fried pickles and fried calamari.  The pickles were nice and crispy, but I was not impressed by the ranch-like dipping sauce, which was far too subtle for my taste.  The calamari was decent, particularly with the sauces, one mustard-based and one tomato-based.  They have some lunch specials, and most of us opted for the $6.95 burger, which comes with fries, salad, or soup.  I got the burger with blue cheese (and I said bacon, but I don't think he wrote that down because there was no bacon on it) and a side salad with balsamic.  As expected for a group of this size, it took about 30 minutes for all the food.  The burger was ok, the salad was ok, but nothing really notable.

The food's not bad, but the lunch just dragged on and on, and we were the only group in the back room.  And now that a few years have passed, the TV's just aren't big enough for a sports bar.

If I were you, I'd take the shuttle across the interstate and walk to Hudson Grill Midtown if you really want a sports bar.  The food is better, the service is better, and the game-watching atmosphere is definitely better.

Horrible service.  I took my family out for dinner and a movie. What sports bar runs out of chicken fingers and 4 types of draft beer? This one does. Long wait, for less than mediocre food, unmotivated servers and they were not even busy. Save the money. You are better off with a popcorn and coke at the theater.

My friends and I came here Friday night for a beer.  We were at Atlantic Station for the Citizen Cope concert and decided to get a drink after.  We sat at one of the high tops by the bar.  There were TVs everywhere.  I ordered a Fat Tire and don't remember seeing a price on the beer menu.  When I got my check, it was $7.  For a pint.  Really?!  Whatever... So, the service was good.  Our server was nice and she joked around with us.  The bathroom was disgusting with the stall door missing on one of the toilets.  That was cool.  So, no, I will not be going back.

My husband and I came here on a Tuesday evening. The place was empty, yet the seating was dirty. That should have been my initial tip off. I ordered mushroom pomodoro with shrimp. The sauce was NOT pomodoro sauce but rather watered down spaghetti sauce with no seasoning whatsoever. The shrimp was overcooked and dry. The penne pasta was undercooked.  My husband ordered the blackened tilapia sandwich with a bake potato. The sandwich was alright though nothing to write home about, but the potato was drowned in salt. We had ordered a basic appetizer as well, spinach artichoke dip. The chips were heated but STALE. I will never ever eat from there again.

It is quite ok to spend $12 dollars on a signature cocktail ... but it is not ok to spend 60 bucks on 3 drinks and a burger with fries...

The ambiance is clearly trying to be a hip, high end bar with all the wanna be-s and actuallies moving about with the stripper high stilhettos and booties big enough to put J.Lo to shame -- while she was dating puff daddy!

The bar itself is really cool, and the place is does offer some classiness... minus the lesbian couple that was making out on it ... it was my BF's first time to see such open spectacle, so i guess we got a kick out of that! lol lol lol ..

*sigh* but unfortunately for fox, this will be our last visit.

    NEVER EAT HERE EVER!!!!!!

Not the waitress' fault she was nice and did her best.
Waiting for food is like waiting for paint to dry or grass to grow.

Waited forever for a beer.   A.  Beer.   What the huh!  By the way the place was mostly empty.    Riddle me that.

First, a few qualifying statements. I think of myself as a foodie and my girlfriend and I love to try new places. That said, I often look past the service and the ambience if the food is great.

I have been to Fox Grill on four occasions and the service on all these trips has been less than stellar. The last visit, which was this past weekend, by far was the worst visit. We arrived at the restaurant on a Saturday night and surprisingly, it was not as crowded. We were seated promptly. However, after 15 minutes of no service, we made attempts to get the attention of a group of servers huddled together in deep convseration about more important things than their jobs. This lack of attention is poor in and of itself but sadly, it was not the first time (two other past occassion) that we experienced this. This time around we decided to leave and informed the hostess as to why that was. Surprisingly, they did not seem to care much when we left and added a casual - "Take it easy" as we left. Needless to say, I am not returning there.

Apart from the service, I really do like the ambience of this place. There are TVs accessible from almost all seating areas and the food is the kind that you can expect from a sports grill. My favorites have been the burgers and wings.

If you find yourself in the Atlantic Station area, I would not recommend it and would rather you try places like Atlantic grill that are smaller in scale, more responsive to their customers, and the food is just as good.

I came with a big group for lunch on a non-game day.  The place is huge and had plenty of space for us.  However, the meal I ordered was less than ideal...the BBQ chicken salad had wilting overdressed greens and the chicken was overcooked and tough.  The interior is huge and has lots of TVs for sports viewing.

Ehhhh....it's just another sports bar.  I will say that it's nice to see a variety of menu options besiides wings, burgers and wraps.  Across the table, we ordered the thai shrimp wrap, the Kobe beef burger, the Kobe beef sliders, the cobb salad and the spaghetti.  Nothing to write home about, but far better than the Big Apple Cafe:)

Oh, and our service was awful!  The girl was incredibly sweet, but just plain distracted and slow.  It was around 2 in the afternoon on a Thursday; so, the place certainly wasn't crowded enough for her to have been weeded.

This place kinda sucks. Overpriced, hard to see the TVs without having to look up near the tall ceilings and the service was not very good at all. They charge you a tip automatically so I wasn't surprised they had little motivation to provide a good experience. They kind of had the attitude that it was a privilege for us to eat there rather than a privilege to serve us. We asked to be seated where we could watch the LSU/Auburn game. LSU was ranked #1 in the country and Auburn is just a short drive down the highway, but for some reason they had the audio from the Nebraska-Wisconsin game blaring. The manager acted like we were jerks for wanting them to change it. A snobbish sign on the table says they expect you to spend a minimum amount. Excuse me? A friend told me that Stats nearby is a much better sports bar experience.

This Place is Awful. I never been to a poorly ruined sports bar. The place is nice it just the service and food. I ordered wings and a beer( domestic beer) It took the waitres30 mins o serve me the beer and and a hour for the wings. When the wings came out they were Cold and hard. I advised the waiter and she send the wings back to the kitchen. 10 mins later she send the same wings back cold.

By this time i was pissed and wanted to speak to the manger she said he was busy and had no choice to pay what was ordered. At this point I was ready to just leave with out paying anything. Having a incompetent service and crappy food. Towards the restrooms I the manager and discuss the situation. I was not charged for the wings . She came back with a bill handed her my credit card and disappeared for 30mins .
No body know where she trotted off to and I was at a point to explode.
Well to the end got my card back left 25cents on the table and left an nasty note on the tip portion with a big Zero for the waitress .

Over rated, Too pricey, bad service, will not go back ever!!!

I don't have to go in to detail about how terrible this place is, but I will. I have been a fan of Fox Sports Grill for a while, until the past couple of years.. the service is UTTERLY RIDICULOUS. The servers are rude and they seem to hate people and their job. I went with some out of towners once about 2 years ago and the server was pretty much yelling at my fiance because of an error made on their part....

You pay a lot, wait a long time, they have lines on the outside to get in... wtf..... and they are received a 46/u from the health inspector.... google it and you will see for yourself....

I must be a glutton for punishment because I've ate here several times despite the service not always being that great. The bulk of the time I took a seat at the bar. Depending on the bartender, you may be served quickly or you could be sitting there for awhile. I've actually walked out, hungry as hell, but refusing to wait any longer.

While the food and drinks or decent, the service is poor. They really need to come up with a way to better serve their customers, especially during large sporting events. They seems to be a lack of organization at times.

The restaurant itself isn't bad. There's table for groups, smaller tables for two, seating at the bar, and seating outside. The times when I've sat at a table I found the service to be good. My main issues seem to be at the bar. It's like they forget you're there.

I feel kinda like im cheating to review this place again, but as part of the 365 posting, I get to do this...again.

So this years annual "rhymes with witches" that dont have a man, dinner party was held here.

What a great place to do one of these.  While, there were some couples in the dining area, it was WAYYYYYYYYYY less than would have been at some other resturants.

Ty...our server was right on point, and knew how to treat the ladies.  He kept our glasses full, turned the TV to the right game, and made sure we only had to request something once and it was at our table.

Guess he knew not to piss off 4 horny black women who surely arent going to be getting any this Valentines Day.  LOL

Had the babyback ribs and they were falling off the bone....the cole slaw that accompnies it....not so much. But it also comes with sweet potatoe fries and they were marvelous.  Another of the witches had a Philly Cheese and she didnt eat half of it, because it got cold to quick, and another ordered the sampler platter.....da largest onion rings ever, and she sent those back because they were cold also.

The bar area was packed with men-guess the men folks have a single fellas Valentines outing also...they got a little rowdy at times, but nothing that you wouldnt expect at a Sports Bar.

Personally, I like this place, but sometimes I hear people tear it down.....I;ve never had a bad experience here (knock on wood)

I also had three Touchdown teas.....(Premium Long Island) and as soon as I get this post up....Im touchin down on these silk pillowcases...and dreamin of how I will have a Valentines next year.....just in case that made no sense....those touchdown teas are STRONG!

hAPPY vALENTINES dAY fOX sPORTS gRILL AND bAR!!!

Okay, it's not often I am this disappointed by a restaurant.  Normally I would not be found in a sports bar, but we were donating some items to the ECO Drive at Atlantic Station, when we realized we hadn't eaten lunch.  It was late, we were all hungry, and sports bar food seemed like a good filler... Especially good bar food, since Fox looks like a nice establishment.  Well, that's about a nice as it got.

For one, I was surprised that it was so empty during the middle of a Georgia Tech game.  Sad thing is, they don't even do anything to support local teams, not even a tiny sign or a coaster.

Their lack of connecting with the city is NOT why I gave this place one start.  It all has to do with the food.  Let me start with the Calamari, if you can call it that.  This stuff was so over cooked and chewy, it was inedible.  It tasted as if they had bought a bag of frozen Calamari at Costco and tossed it into the deep fryer... Not kidding, the worst Calamari I've ever tried.  To top it off, the manager came over to see how everything was.  I'm an honest person, so I told him about the Calamari.  He said to please go on their website and make comments.  That was it, didn't even offer to comp the dish.

Okay, this is getting long.  I will keep this part short.... Simply put, my meal, my wifes meal, and both our kids meals were horribly prepared with whatever was back in the kitchen that would hide how terrible the quality of ingredients were. Maybe it was the chef's first day.... in a kitchen that is.

I do also have to mention that the price is high, but expected for an Atlantic Station lease payer... Too bad the quality of food was not reflected.  I feel I got ripped off.

I would never even consider stepping foot into this place again.  I find it extremely demeaning that they would pass off their food as, well, food.

Fox Sports in Atlantic Station.  Probably the worse place to go to actually watch sports in the city.  This is more of a seen to be on the scene kind of place.  The food is average, drinks are expensive and the service is average at best.  To actually watch the games, the tv's are well out of position.  This is too laid back for a sports bar.  A Taco Mac should be placed here.  This is where black hollywood hangs out before they go out for the night.

I don't tend to Yelp negatively very often and held off on this one for a bit, but I just can't hold it in. I truly have never seen any place that treats paying customers quite as badly as this. We are assuming that the reason we never had a waiter visit our table was because we had a kid with us and it was after 7pm on New Years Eve, but that excuse doesn't hold water with me. If you didn't want kids in after dark because you were going to be throwing down starting at 10pm then you would tell people that rather than seating them.

Our first hint should have been when we saw an angry group leave with the same complaint (15 mins and no waiter) while we were waiting for our table. As hat family left they muttered "good luck" to us. We sat and 15 mins later, after having only had waiters pass making a point to look in the other direction of our table, we left.

We stopped long enough to say something to the manager, who seemed to have the same response as he had with the other family, "oh, sorry" with no attempt anything more. Gotta say they pretty much insured we won't be returning.

Nothing to see here really, except it is in a great place to grab bar food when you are out in Atlantic Station. I went in July, and there were old football games on rerun. So, long story short, if you want a generic burger and watch football any time of year, grab a table here and do work.

I went here once for a work-related event. That's the only experience I needed. Nothing stands out here. Mediocrity at best. I hate being harsh but that's how I felt here. If you're looking for good expensive food, you can do better. If you're looking for good cheap food, you can do better. If you're looking for good beers, head elsewhere. If you're looking for a good bar atmosphere, head elsewhere. If you're looking for a place to watch the game, look elsewhere too. I have to agree with the fellow Yelpers on this one.

This place will be closing soon.

It was fun while it lasted.  2006-2008 were prime years, but after a while food suffered, management got cocky, and knuckleheads started pouring in.  Now, the place can't stay open past 11.

Only plus is the eye candy on football Sundays.

    Au revoir FSG!

A friend and I went to Fox Sports Grill after watching SATC2 at Atlantic Station. She had a gift certificate so we settled on eating there after the movie.

I wasn't impressed. This is supposed to be a nice sports bar, but the seats were in bad news of reupholstering. I'm not sure how you have leather seats that are torn up and expect for people to take your business seriously. It's the little things to me.

Moving on to the food and drinks. I ordered a bowl of chill and a salad. My lettuce was limp and my chili tasted like it just came from a can.

Our server, God bless his heart, was a sweet as he could be. However, either he was new or waiting is just not for him. We had to remind him that we ordered an appetizer after we noticed that he probably wasn't going to bring it, after we were almost done with our meals.

    Overall, "meh!"

I've only been here for a few business lunches - the food is mediocre to okay - the menu is a bit more upscale than what you would expect at a sports bar, but if you stick to some of the standard items, it should be fine.  The burger is good.  The french dip is iffy, and a bit expensive at ($12) for lunch.  The salads are decent, although, the steak in my steak salad was not very good.

I would probably rather come here to watch a sporting event and get a beer and wings - they have more than enough TVs where you'll have a view no matter where you sit.  Service is decent - nothing too impressive, and nothing bad either.

The buffalo chicken sandwich is really good. Tons of bleu cheese dressing and sauce on a big fillet. I got a Sweetwater 420 on draft and it was really overpriced though.

Possibly the worst food and service in Atlanta, after eating here once I only order water here because I think they cannot mess that up. Everything there is over cooked and flavorless. It's food for the drunk or those without taste buds. Service is less than an after though, it simply does not exist. I don't want to sound snobbish but it's place stinks on every level.

Saturday afternoon, time to T it up between the hedges. I wasn't in my beloved Athens for the Georgia game, so I decided to head down to a bar to catch the game since it was only offered on pay per view.

Walk in the door, this place is eerily empty. Idiot at the front desk looks like she doesn't want to be bothered.

"Do you have the Georgia game on?"

"uhhh, no" * annoyed look *

    "Why not?"

"uhhh, it's pay per view" *annoyed look*

Now tell me, isn't the point of being a sports bar to play games that people can't otherwise see at their own homes? That way, they come and they sit for four hours and spend lots of money.

Taco Mac was happy to have us all there. It was beyond crowded (standing room only, clutching a pitcher of beer) but the staff were really good sports about it.

I have absolutely no reason to ever go back here again when Taco Mac Metropolis is much closer, the food is decent, and the services is muuuuuch better.

Let's get the basics out of the way:

Atmosphere:  One of THE BEST places to watch sports.  Plenty of big TV's placed perfectly so you can watch the game/ fight/ race from anywhere (one friend did complain about the lack of tv's in the restroom....but he's spoiled) Pool tables, cigar rooms and outdoor seating, a sports fan's paradise.

Food: a crap shoot.  Some stuff (wings and sliders) are decent, but not overly impressive; other things (bbq nachos -  I know, I should have known better) should be avoided at all costs unless you have your own stomach pump.

Drinks: ....seriously?!? my drink only has two ingredients - three if you count the lime - how do you manage to screw it up EVERY time?  I once even had a girl screw up my order for water....yes, that's right.....WATER (a simple request for a refill turned into a 20 minute comedy skit where I got everything BUT water).

Which brings me to the worst aspect of Fox Sports, customer service.

.....hear that sound?  That's me, grinding my axe.

Let me preface - once again - by saying that I have worked in the service industry for several years.  I know what to look for and I can tell when a server is busy, and when they are just plain bad.

    (true story)

NBA playoffs  - Our waitron IGNORED us the entire evening.  She served people (men) to our left and right, but we had to resort to asking the guys on the other end of the bar for everything from water and  menus to food and utensils.  She only stopped at our section to give us our bill.  For her bad service, she was given an equally bad tip.  Her response?  She called out our friend (a regular)....loudly:

"Hey (Mike)! WHAT THE F*CK IS THIS?!?!"
"ALL THAT SH*T YOU BOUGHT, AND THIS IS ALL YOU'RE GOING TO F*CKING TIP ME?!?"

Yes- she DID say it exactly that way.  Yes, I did complain to the manager and yes, that heffa is STILL working there.

CUSTOMER SERVICE AT FOX SPORTS SUCKS!!!!!

Fox Sports screams "commercial".  Frankly, I hate commercial spots. Basically if you are in Atlanta this is typically one of the traditional first spots one might think of to watch a game.  It looks just like you think it'd look, typical entertainment style Sports bar.

While it reeks of being mundane, the place actually has pretty damn good food.  The wings are absolutely fantastic with the sauce being the highlight.

You can also try the barbecue chicken nachos if you are looking to get full from one of their appetizers.

    Their salads arent bad either, I think I have had the bbq chicken salad or the cobb salad or both.  Either way, I was impressed by the food considering this was just another "commercial" sports bar.;

Not a bad place to people watch either:)
