      Another ATL visit, another Fox Bros meal. I had more great BBQ, and the specials and cost-value were great.

      THE WAIT: About 10 minutes for a group of 4, around 1pm on a Thursday.

      SERVICE: They're definitely busy and the staff always seems to be running around, but someone always seemed to come to our table at the right times and be there when we needed them.

      THE COST: About $15 total for a big meal shared with four. The best thing was they offered to split our bill per each person's entree, evenly spitting the cost of the appetizers across the four of us!

      MUST-HAVES: The Fried Mac n Cheese special impressed us all. We all liked the Frito Pie, after wondering what it was. Everyone's favorite meat by far was the Pulled Pork.

      Please see my photos for extra info/details!

      * Fried Mac n Cheese - 4.5 stars
      Very thinly, evenly crisped balls of mac n cheese. Still very warm and gooey on the inside. We loved this!

      * Frito Pie - 4.5 stars
      A surprise favorite. They take their chili and mix it with Fritos, serving it out of a Fritos bag. Sounds kind of ghetto, kind of random, but it actually comes out really good!

      * Texas Fries - 3.5 stars
      Great components with all that cheese and meat on top of the fries, but it gets to be a little too much, too quickly. If it weren't for all that extra cheese and sauce, the meat would be on the dry side.

      * Fox Bros Burger - 4 stars
      Buttery soft bun, a ton of meat, cheese, and bacon. This was great, albeit very filling! The brisket would be dry if it weren't for everything else on this burger.

      On the meats...
      Everything was good, though as I mentioned, the Pulled Pork was the favorite. The Brisket had big chunks of fatty meat that I had to pick around, but if you like that all the better.

      On the other sides...
      The Chili is not worth getting if you're getting the Frito Pie. I don't usually like Coleslaw but I like theirs - it tastes fresh, has this light sweetness about it. The cornbread was dry like last time. You need a lot of butter. I do like the whole kernels of corn in the bread.

      This BBQ Joint is such a treasure. We finally made it here after a few years ago of a fail attempt. The wait would have been excruciating at the time we drove there. We had to forfeit and skip out. Unfortunately, they do not take reservations. However, we made it, and we ate more than enough for sure. They have CHILI this Way & That Way, I tell Yah Oooh, My! I ordered the Beef Brisket Chili, Bake Beans, and a Slab of Ribs. Ooooh, Yes, I did! AND Ate them ALL! EmHmm, That's Right! Frank had Chicken Quarter, Ribs, Sliced Brisket, Collard Greens, and Fries. All in all, we made 2 trips to Fox Brothers. Now we can definitely say we're hooked, and by God's Special Grace, we shall be back.

      Second time trying this place and so far I haven't been let down. First time I tried Fox Bros I ordered from door dash and the food was really good but this is definitely a place you should eat at the restaurant to get the full experience.

      Appetizers

      Half fried pickles and half jalapeños caps 10/10 what more could you ask for? Best of both worlds lol the jalapeños are the perfect amount of spice and the fried pickles are so darn good, don't forget the side of ranch for dipping.

      Main course

      Chicken and brisket- the chicken was so juicy and make sure they give you the white sauce for dipping, it reminds me of chick fil a sauce but creamier. Brisket is cooked perfectly. I love trying all the sauces but my favorite is the white sauce

      Sides :

      Potato salad is 8/10 really good but heavy

      Chili beans with brisket 8/10 very good but gave me heart burn so make sure you bring tums, I love the fresh onion on top

      Coleslaw 9/10 perfect amount of sweet and salty

      Dessert

      Banana pudding 9/10 so creamy and yummy

      Honey custard pie 10/10 literally a MUST it's probably the best pie I've ever had. Just order a slice.

      Having been to some of their other locations, I knew we had to make a trek to the original Fox Bros location.
      They do not take reservations here, but a wait on St Patricks weekend was around thirty minutes.
      Service was fairly quick.
      We started with a fried jalapeño and pickle appetizer. I had the shamrock punch to drink as well which was great.
      I had the jalapeño cheddar brisket burger. It was frankly a little unwieldy, but the flavors were on point. My friend had the four meat platter with brisket, smoked chicken, turkey and sausage. The wings were the highlight according to him. Brisket was fine but there was only a singular piece.

      Finally made it out to Fox Bros BBQ. According to my friend the parking lot is normally full but we were able to find a spot. Walking in approx 7:30pm no smell of smoke (no big deal) but I do look and smell. Upon entry they were packed inside. We were seated toward the back.

      We had 3 in our party. 2 of us ordered the 2 meat combo (sliced fatty brisket and pork ribs). I ordered Collard Greens & BBQ Bean the other ordered Mac & Cheese and potato salad. He said his sides were ok not great. My third friend ordered a burger and side salad. His salad was huge for a side portion. I tried his burger and it was a mixture of hamburger and cubed brisket, bun was soft. A really good burger.

      My combo had 1 slice of fatty brisket laying on top of sliced white bread, 3 bones of pork ribs both tasting fantastic just wished for maybe 1/2 of a slice more of brisket. I didn't like the collard greens had a weird flavor couldn't pin point it, they were sweet so I asked if there was sugar in them and she said no it was molasses that flavor profile didn't work for me. My other side was baked beans and these were really sweet, couldn't finish them. I also ordered a side of jalapeño corn bread, by itself it was ok, the sweet butter made it pop and was good.

      My friend ordered the Banana Pudding, we all tasted. Missed with this as well, need more bananas or something.

      Overall you go to a BBQ place for the meat, and this place is good.

      Picture smelling what you're about to consume from two blocks away and just knowing that you're going to have an amazing meal. Stepping into Fox Bros BBQ in Atlanta, GA, is like entering a haven for barbecue enthusiasts, and my recent dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I walked through the doors, the friendly and welcoming service set the tone for a delightful meal. The staff at Fox Bros BBQ exuded Southern hospitality, making sure that I felt welcomed right out of the gate. They also accommodated my desire to sit outdoors for this meal even though the other 100% of the diners at the time were all seated at the indoor dining room.

      First important detail to note is that if I'm going to allow myself to indulge in a beer during a BBQ meal, it has to be the proper beer. The fact that they carry Shiner Bock, a Texas classic, added an extra layer of authenticity to the dining experience. Sipping that cold Shiner while enjoying this meal created a perfect harmony of tastes that complemented each other exceptionally well. I'd have had another or two if I wasn't driving straight to Virginia after this lunch.

      Moving on to the main attractions, the Fox Bros "Burger" is listed as the best burger in the Country on Yelp so I had to come find out why. Imagine my surprise when I realize that this isn't even actually a burger at all. Will you hear me complaining? Absolutely not. This is potentially the best brisket I've ever eaten, and it's definitely at least top 3. Added to the brisket was perfectly seasoned and properly cooked bacon, tomatoes, onion, pickles, and jalapeno mayo on a brioche roll. I could eat one of these weekly for the rest of my life and never get sick of it.

      For my side upgraded from the chips and got the Fox-A-Roni. This was their Mac and Cheese mixed with their Brunswick Stew which further demonstrated the creativity and bold flavors that define this barbecue joint. The portion size was absolutely perfect and the creaminess of the mac and cheese blended incredibly well with the robust flavors of the Brunswick Stew. I would love to try their other side dishes but I fear if I go alone that I will be forced by my desires to order this one again.

      Fox Bros BBQ is quite simply stated a fantastic BBQ spot in Atlanta. If you consider yourself a BBQ aficionado or you're just someone who is getting started into the world of BBQ, make this one of your stops. I am guessing that the dedication to quality and a welcoming atmosphere will ensure that every visit to Fox Bros BBQ is a memorable and delicious adventure. This place is solid Q. I had a combination platter which consisted of two meats +2 sides. I went with the pulled pork and brisket and both were moist with nice smoke.

      The Brunswick stew was excellent, but the coleslaw was uninteresting and lacked in flavor. Jalapeño cornbread was very good.

      Living just down the road from the epicenter of the BBQ universe (Lockhart, TX), I have some experience with amazing BBQ. Fox Bros make some pretty amazing BBQ. The brisket was juicy and tender and the ribs weren't as fall-off-the-bone as I like, but also very tasty. I didn't have room for the sausage with jalapenos and cheese, but I'll try them the next time. This place does not disappoint !

      And a nice salad too !

      There is not much to say that hasn't been said about this Mecca to all things smoked. The brines are great, brisket is Smokey and moist , chicken is perfectly Smokey and juicy. The sides complement the meat whether it is the slightly spiced collard greens to the tots , and yes even the real Brunswick stew. Tried the jalapeño cornbread today and found it to be delicious but just not enough jalapeño heat for me. The ambiance is usual bbq jointery. Service is fast attentive and on point . For the quality I find the prices to be fair and commensurate with the quality and portion size . This is a must try in your bbq pilgrimage. Arguably the best barbecue in Atlanta and top 3 in the state if not number 1.

      Overall I'd give Fox Bros (this location) a 3.5 stars. But since you have to do whole numbers, I'll round up since we had good service and I loved the Brussel sprouts.

      The Brussels were 5 star worthy. Unique preparation and just super yummy. The corn bread had potential but was sadly too dry (needed butter to help it out). The smoked ribs were tasty, and the brisket chili was relatively flavorful but not something I'd crave or rush back for.

      Others we were with tried various items from the menu. And enjoyed them to varying levels. My husband said the Brunswick stew was excellent and ribs were very good; but that the pulled pork was cold (which was disappointing).

      The surroundings and decor was enjoyable and good for bigger groups, which is a plus.

      Wouldn't rush back but would give it another try.

      Location /
      In an area with limited parking so you might have to do some street parking. Place has indoor and outdoor seating.

      Food /
      We ordered a meat plate to share which consisted of bbq pork ribs, brisket, sausage, with potato salad and brisket chili. We added on the cornbread. All of the meats were well seasoned, tender, and juicy. Sides were also a hit! My personal favorite was the brisket chili - they don't skimp on the meat in there! You get brisket in every spoonful! They also have house made bbq sauces on the side that you can slater your bbq meats in - all of them v delicious.

      Service /
      Great amazing service. Checked on us throughout our meal.

      I can understand the hype of this place and deserves the credit for one of the amazing bbq spots in Georgia. You won't regret making a trip out here to try it!
