I used to own a condo right next to the hotel and just by looking out my window I could tell who's performing at Staples Center this weekend since they would park their tour buses right down the street.

I would often walk over and chill in their lounge to watch games and you would see A List celebs on any random given day. I even saw a bunch of movie stars negotiating their rates with producers. Their lobby is really nice. Same with their hotel rooms.

I love their spa. They had free Fiji water and hot female massage therapists who were friendly(this was rare). The spa concierge is not all that great unless you are a celeb but everything else was pimp. Even after the massage my therapists brought me a dessert from the chef and I was really impressed with that!

Four Seasons Sunday brunch.

The mother of all Buffets, actually I hate calling it a "Buffet" as it reminds me of some all inclusive resort in the Dominican Republic (not that im hating on the DR you simply cannot compare).

The food and service is up there, or another way to put it is "you will not find a better brunch, both in quality and taste of the food or the level of service, in LA".

I am there every week like clockwork, if you are looking to assassinate me due to my reviews you will know where to find me... or join for a decadent brunch.

Review of Sunday Brunch: Pricey, but Perfect

Came here for a bachelorette party, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals.  My favorites were the eggs benedict, mac n cheese (rom the kids buffet (sure its embarrassing to eat the kids food, but that mac n cheese was out of this world), passion fruit trifle (probably one of the most amazing desserts ive ever had).  There was a wide assortment of food - from salads, to omelettes, sushi, dim sum, prime rib, etc.  Highly recommended for a special occasion!

This is perhaps my favorite hotel in the world. I sometimes escape to it on weekends. Everything here is top notch. If you stay here more than once they record your preferences, they recognize you the next time you come, they leave your favorite candy in the room, etc. They totally cater to all your desires and needs. I once purchased a present for a friend and needed to get it engraved. They just took care of it for me. The restaurant is great! Try the Sunday brunch. It's fantastic. The spa is wonderful, the pool with cabanas around is intimate and cozy. Love it!

As an entertainment journalist, I've had the opportunity to interview some of the best and brightest talent this world has to offer. My favorite place to do my chatter is hands down the Four Seasons. This luxury hotel has a special place in my heart: It's where Michel Gondry flirted with me the entire time I interviewed him for Be Kind Rewind. It's where I met Jane Campion--one of the first film directors I ever really loved, it's where Ryan Gosling told me he kept one of the sex dolls from Lars and the Real Girl and it's where my dream of meeting my longtime crush, Keanu Reeves, was realized one cold winter morning. I effing love this place, yo! Oh, and the cheesecake is orgasmic. On the real, y'all. On-the-real!

I took my sister in law there today.
we got there around 1:30pm and there were some empty seats outside.
Food selections are very good. Beef ribs, Roast beef, all kinds of salad, cheese, waffle, sweets, sushi, Chinese dim sam, a lot of source, etc.
Each dish is tasty and descent, so there is no surprise.
The price was $64 or $68 + tax and drinks you order + tip.
I think this price is reasonable for this brunch buffet at four season.
People like to go Sunday brunch at nice hotels in Japan and most price there is around $100-$150, so I think this price is reasonable for four seasons.
There were some celeb in the room, but I don't know their name.
The waitress was very nice and never pushed us to hurry to anything even if we stayed there over 3pm. Maybe the first waitress went home because different waitress gave me the check lol...
we had very nice time and this is the place you want to take someone for special occasions.

I've never stayed at the Four Seasons, but WOW - brunch on Sundays is something of an event here! There's so much food - food everywhere - and it's so so good!

To start with, The Four Seasons Beverly Hills is very swank. The decor is classic, the service is impeccable (you will never open a door yourself, nor will your empty glass go unnoticed for very long). Of the two times I've gone, I've seen various A and B-list celebs (porno master Larry Flynt was there last week - he's really let himself go). This is a fun spot to take out-of-town guests, or to just come and enjoy a fabulous brunch in a beautiful setting.

I've not eaten a thing I wasn't satisfied with, but standouts are the lobster eggs benedict (to die for) and the fabulous pastries. I actually had asked a waiter if one of the pastries I'd eaten earlier were still available and the woman said she would bring more out. To my pleasant surprise, she brought it to my table, though she didn't know where I was sitting. Little service goodies like this make a place really stand out. It was on father's day as well, and we received a small pastry in a beautiful package for the dad with us.

You won't be disappointed with The Four Seasons' Sunday Brunch. It's expensive, but you'll leave feeling stuffed and happy. Doooo it.

Came here for the first time for my friend b'day and have High Tea for the first time. Oh we met two celebrities.. kind of cool!

Anyway so what is High Tea? Humm so this is how I describe High Tea: you drink a cup of tea with a bunch of little foods, from biscuit to chocolate truffle (Up to bottom) basically a full meal of the day.  I don't know how to describe but i will post the picture since picture speak a 1000 words right?

I will give 4 stars because first we met two celebrities and second the food taste great

The one thing that take away 1 star is because we sit inside the room and one big fly keep flying around our table and eventually hanging out on one of our food. Our waiter was really nice but I was hoping that he would do something about it instead of just smiling at us...

Note: Parking is $8 if you got validation

Ok, so Sunday brunch is $68 + tax.

Includes buffet, using of luxurious restrooms, kids' meals ( get out of my way, kids!), coffee, tea and all kinds of juices.

Frankly, the food is mediocre. Skip all Chinese/Japanese interpretations.

What do you pay $68 for then?

1. Detailed attention from the waiters. They constantly replace coffee that are left cold on the table. Moment you leave for more food, the previous plate is removed in timely manner.

2. See Morgan Freeman lunched across two tables.

3. Then see Samuel L. Jackson walked in and had a chat/laugh with Morgan Freeman.

4. Saw Nicole Richie actually eating. Yep.

5. Prime rib was actually quite decent.

That's it.

Remember it's Four Seasons, not Three or Five Seasons. $68 to be treated like a King or Queen.

OH EM GEE.

I just have to say that last night I indulged in the best TRUFFLE FRENCH FRIES ever!! Ever!

Fried in truffle oil that you can actually taste, these fatty fries were the best thing to hit their menu IMO.

I had to force myself to stop eating, or I would have become Shamu in less than an hour.

Highly recommended! $15 for the fries, but it's a huge portion and you can share.. if you want.

By far THE BEST Sunday Brunch I have ever eaten. Their array of different bars, including Bloody Mary Bar, Sushi, Omelettes, Asian are out of this world. Although it is very pricey at $75 per person and doesn't include Champagne, their orange juice and service is close to perfect as you can get. Reservations is highly recommended

SUNDAY BRUNCH! YES! I really love this place. I don't want to say perfect, because I always believe there is room for improvement, but this place comes close. Excellent for office get togethers and guests visiting from out of town. It's near the hospital which makes for easy access.

I always ask for Perrier to wait on us. If you go often enough they will learn and remember what your needs and likes are. I like taking short get aways there and stay Saturday night go into Hollywood for a show or dinner party with friends then retire back to the hotel for coffee with friends.

Winter time is also fun. Hope you enjoy!

This place rocks, why 5 stars? FREE APPETIZER TRAY. They give you a endless supply of those snacks you get at trader joes like 3 different kinds for free while you drink on the patio, that rocks!!! The service is awesome they have these cool little cabanas, you can smoke outside at this location (I don't smoke), and the seating was comfortable.

Oh Lala... For the price $18 cocktails, def better than Viceroy, Santa Monica (the only other premium spot I have been to, besides overhype Las Vegas). Surprisingly no attitude for BH, while the Viceroy at times do not treat you well at all. Superb decor, comfy loungy, piano bar!!

I felt like an 1930's elitist. Good for that nite lol. Most def have to check out some of their premium scotch, never heard of some of that stuff, man you learn something new every day don't you!!

I flew in from a stay in NY so my room seemed especially palatial. You can expect the typical Four Seasons service, which is always amazing.

The best part of staying at this hotel is that they have complimentary car service...you can be shuttled to your hearts delight (within a 2 mi radius) in their nearly brand new Rolls Royce. Needless to say, I took full advantage of this amenity.

My friends and I came here on a Saturday night for drinks at the lounge.  It was very classy and the service was very attentive and polite.  We ordered the sashimi, tuna tar tar, and cheese plate.  Everything was pretty good but the sashimi was not at the level we are used to.  The wine was good and the ambiance was just superb.

They knew they needed to fix up the entry of the hotel and the bar and they did it well.
The Roof top is a must!
Staying here is a treat. You do get what you expect...quality all the way!
My son loves it here as well.

Very nice hotel , I stayed there once for my senior prom, and the place was very extravagant. The service was great, of coarse the people are attentive to all your needs. Please do believe the hype when people talk about the Four Seasons. And of coarse I was not shocked to see Britney S. shopping near the hotel, while they were taking pictures of her. Great place to stay but very expensive!

One of my sisters was married here this past weekend. Not only was I able to see her get married to a great guy, but I got to enjoy several aspects of this hotel, including staying here for the weekend. Yes, this place is amazing and top of the line. What makes this rank above so many places is the customer service. What ever you need or want, you get it and you get it quickly and always with a warm, welcoming smile and friendly attitude. Even the basic rooms are comfortable with my bathroom about the size of the room itself. The fitness area was good and outside in a covered area outside so a little chilly to get my run on, but a welcoming change from being inside.

But let's also discuss why I was here.. the wedding was absolutely beautiful and the hotel did an amazing job accommodating over 220 attendees. The staff was always around and when ever they were needed they were never more than a few minutes away. They let my sister's designer redecorate their ballroom and re drape it. Transforming it into something more than where a wedding reception was held. It was a billowy place where dreams of love became reality and love was united. No, I swear I didn't cry. I just had something in my eye. Their bartenders were quick on the pour and also quickly became familiar with what you were having that night. Did someone say champagne?

The hotel really helped make my sister's special day beyond special. It was more than a wonderful day. The bar was set high and they matched it. The guests were happy, my brother in law and sister was happy, which meant I was happy. Now that 3 out of 4 sisters are married, I think the eyes will start looking towards me... great....

My 3rd wedding anniversary is coming up and I thought I should give some yelp-love to the place where we made it legit.

The Four Seasons is an all-around fabulous hotel. Most people know this already. The service is top-notch and the rooms are wonderful  - beautiful decor and sumptuous bedding.  The bar and restaurant is great and the food is delicious. I also love the pool and gym area (can't beat doing some cardio outside) but it can get too crowded on a hot summer day.

If you want a hotel wedding that still feels special and unique, I would highly recommend the Four Seasons. My wedding day was flawless and, unlike many brides, I didn't stress about a thing since I knew we were in good hands.  We even had a few celebs around to wish us a happy wedding. OK, not really. But we did have some cool sightings. The best one? James Brown and his entourage in the elevator with one of my guests. One of the dudes with Mr. Brown looked at my friend and said, " watch the shoes."  Apparently, you didn't mess with the Godfather's shoes.

Love that story. And I love this hotel.

This is a review of the Sunday brunch I ate this morning, not the hotel itself.

I went with a party of eight for my cousin's birthday, and this was the perfect place for that type of event. Really perfect for the L.A. half of my family, which consists mainly of old Jews who like a feeling of Hollywood exclusivity with every meal and will behave like assholes to achieve such a state. Gramps especially has a knack for pissing off waiters with ridiculous orders and the occasional racial comment. But let me tell you, the fine staff at the Four Seasons handled the group like few are able to do, and the meal was better for it. Since I didn't have to spend my time giving apologetic looks to the waiter, I was able to concentrate on the food.

I went to the buffet a total of five times. Started with breakfast foods; thick bacon, waffles with berries and whipped cream and delicious chicken apple sausage. Then to asian food; shrimp dumplings (the best item in the house), sushi (maguro, salmon, unagi, spicy tuna, some kind of shrimp/caviar roll), and some sweet shrimp and snow peas. Then back for more of that. Then fruit and cheese & crackers. Then dessert - snickerdoodle cookies are the way to go.

Needless to say, just about everything was good. Nice atmosphere, exceptionally friendly service, and lots and lots of tasty buffet food.

Plus: Keanu Reeves sat at the table next to us, and I saw LL Cool J on my way out.

I remember staying here years ago when I was seeing someone very special, and the Christmas brunch is EXCELLENT.

It is expensive (duh)...but, this time around when coming to L.A. I used a new search engine to find extremely good rates. I recommend Four Seasons to everyone who visits Beverly Hills.

This is how I found it so cheap.

Once again, I found myself in LA for business and this time I decided to stay at the Four Seasons, and was not dissatisfied in the least. Curbside, I was greeted with a big smile, and helpful hand with my luggage, and the car. Inside, more smiles awaited me at every turn. Check-in was a breeze, and my room was perfect, and I didn't find any random stray hairs! It included a DVD, VHS, and CD player (with several CDs), as well as a dock for my iPod to connect to the Bose Stereo in the room. I didn't order room-service, but a colleague did and he found it to be very much to his liking.

Dinner and breakfast in their restaurant was equally pleasant, though pricey!

Their bar/lounge area looked to be quite the place to hang, and mingle, as there were a lot of folks milling about, including several that didn't appear to be staying there.

Checkout was also a breeze. I overheard my colleague as he was checking out, and he mentioned that a phone call that he attempted to make didn't go through. They removed it without an eye blink or a second thought. They also removed the 2 day charge on for my internet usage without hesitation, as I was there for less than 24 hours.

When I'm in LA, I'll definitely stay here!

i guess i'm a little spoiled and i am not a fan of old man hotels because when we have corporate meetings we usually stay in, i hate to say it "trendy modern hotels" (the W, the standard, the james) anything with "The" in front of it means modern =). i don't like flowers, yellow/gold colored rooms with dark red traditional furnitures. so, when i saw that it was going to be at the four seasons i cringed but i saw that it was more than just a hotel but a spa and wellness place as well. i guess the higher ups felt that we were so stressed the last 6 months that we could use a good rub down.

when we got there the outside structure looked modern with its brick on metal aluminum colored window frames but as soon as you walked in it was back to traditional. the rooms were good in size with plenty of space, along with the requisite plasma and lcd, the king bed was comfy with soft sheets, the bathrooms though were top notch 5 stars. maybe it was because it had a little modern feel to it, from the sliding door to enter, to the glass door to the shower, the basin, to the huge tub and a tv to watch espn while you shave.

the spa and wellness center was amazing and very japanese zen and i felt a little out of place because the men that were in there looked like they definitely needed a lot of de-stressing and pampering.

the only food we got to try at the hotel was breakfast since we didn't have the lunch the day before and dinners were offsite but it was okay, nothing to rave about.

i guess the hotel and spa for what it is should be 5 stars because of how they treat their guests and that's the most important judge for any hotel and it should never be because of its exterior and interior, but you know what, it still feels like an old man hotel.

i've yet to stay at the four seasons hotel, so this review isn't for the hotel itself, but for the restaurant, 'gardens'.

definitely not the hippest place to dine, but it is lovely.  i would recommend sitting outdoors if you're having dinner as it is quite serene and the gardens are...well...lovely.  since it is LA, i would say that attire would hover around the business casual to nice denim range, though i did see a woman wearing a particularly disturbing outfit consisting of lace hot pants and matching midriff top paired with clear kitten heeled shoes with paste diamonds.  this would be a place to try and catch an older  mature gentleman with some coin if you're into that sort of thing, as they are lounging around, and they do like to smile and make eye contact.  (i would refrain from wearing that breed of outfit though.  it really doesn't look attractive on anybody, fit or not fit.  and i'm not sure if the attention is the good kind.  but that's just my thinking.)

moving on.

the food is good and plated well -- nothing too daring or experimental in terms of taste or presentation.  classic does come to mind. we started with an appetizer of the dungeness crab with mango and cilantro and it was sweet and refreshing.  the organic mesclun salad with goat cheese, raspberries, and shaved baquette croutons was pretty and green and the leaves were full and happy looking!  i do like a happy looking salad.

our entrees were good as well.  my friend ordered the 14-ounce natural new york steak medium rare and it was sent to our table with the middle a perfect warm jewel tone without being bloody.  this is how medium rare should be done -- i am a stickler for this. when a restaurant presents me with medium rare and it's brown, i get grouchy and immediately turned off.  i ordered the lobster risotto (which appeared on the special menu for the evening), and though the portions of lobster were generous, the dish overall was a bit on the saltier side.

the drinks are strong.  try the asian pear.  it tastes like an asian pear, and then punches you in the face with alcohol.  i like mojitos and ordered the lychee mojito as i normally do when i dine out.  the mojito was tasty, but lacked an overeall lychee flavor but did come with a nice fat lychee skewered in the drink.  nice fat lychee skewered is also fun to say.

we skipped dessert as we were both rather full.  and might i take this moment to say how warm and cordial the waitstaff was at this particular establishment?  our waiter, dale, was a mature gentleman who was attentive without being overbearing, very polite, and kind.  there was nothing rude or obtrusive about his service, and it made for a smooth and fine dining experience.  i absolutely abhor waiters that think they're too cool and too good looking to be decent.  i don't care if you can grate my parmesan cheese with your jawline.   maybe they should teach basic manners at stella adler.

a highlight of the night is walking out of the restaurant and into the piano bar/lounge that is adjoined to the main dining area. couples were dancing to cole porter and men in suit jackets were eyeing and spying.  overall a very chill atmosphere despite the daddies.  again, not the trendiest place to dine, but trendy places to dine are sort of obnoxious and passè, no?

I came here for a VH1 event and the setup was great.  The bartender was hot! They had the best food! I would never had thought that they would do great appetizers as well! Besides being a gorgeous hotel with a warming welcome.  There is usually some sort of little treat as you enter.  In the winter time it is hot apple cider with cinnamon sticks! yum!

It's a wonderful and beautiful hotel.  I would love to stay there the next time I am there.  Yes, it is expensive but it is worth it.  The food was great and the service was friendly.  I never knew this place was here because it is tucked away on Doheny.  It took us a little bit to find the place but we were very impressed with this location.

If I ever get married, I would put this place on the top of my list for the reception and more! ^_^

I stay here when I come to LA.  I absolutely love it and I've stayed at very good hotels before.  What makes this place different is that it feels like home.  We take our baby with us and the staff is exceptionally accommodating.  Almost like having a babysitter around with you all the time.
This visit, though, Darin at the front desk was very rude.  I planned to complain about him to the manager, but then changed my mind.  Because every time I walked toward the pool through the spa, the sensory experience of aromatherapy from the spa and the orange blossoms from the garden around the spa made me forget all my worries.

The bed is better than what I have at home.  I sleep like a baby. The staff is exceptionally nice and very genuine.  In my experience with nice hotels (like Peninsula in Chicago or Ritz in Half Moon Bay) is that all the staff sound like they've just memorized the customer service script.  They've got that vacuous look in their eyes while they mouth what they've learned at staff training.  Not here, though.  They are wonderful.  Except Darin, who I don't think is right for the job - he didn't even make eye contact with me once during our conversation.

In any case, from the pool to the food (delicious smoothies by the pool), this is THE place in LA.

Four Seasons - Four Stars.
I was actually not a big fan of the room, it was a lot like a regular room to me - and last night it was storming like crazy, windy as hell, and kind of cold, but I decided to step out on the balcony, it was a corner room so the balcony accessed 2 sides of the building and then I was like, okay, now this is what I'm talking about.  That was what that room at the Four Seasons was all about, an amazing view of the pool area (which looked awesome by the way) and an amazing view of California... honestly it felt like Miami last night (but cold) the wind blowing the tall palm trees left and right was amazing.  It was fuckin' sexy is what it was.  I ended up liking that suite at the Four Seasons Beverly Hills...  maybe I'll stay there again sometime.

this review is for their catering service for a cocktail and dinner reception

i was invited to an award ceremony held in the Orchid Room of the hotel.  Ignacio and I enjoyed an evening of cocktail reception and dinner here.  Their house champagne is Chandon.  The meal was set.  This is what we had:
-arugula salad with poached pear with cheese and walnuts
-chicken and shrimp
-panna cotta with lime sorbet and citrus salad and wafer

Service was quite excellent given around 150+ guests.  The food was surprising warm upon arrival.  The chicken was the same kind of chicken I had from Wolfgang Puck's catering at Universal Studios Hollywood.  It's genetically engineered chicken so you get a huge breast-like piece with a little bone sticking out.  Everyone's look pretty much the same.  It tastes like real chicken.  I have no complains (until I grow a little arm or an extra eye somewhere).   Dessert was also quite tasty except I'm not a fan of panna cotta.

Overall it was an interesting night.  The hotel is beautiful.  The lobby has a quiet study where anyone could sit and relax their feet.  Valet parking I think was $12 but good thing ours was complimentary.

My boyfriend's aunt stays here whenever she's in town and we are lucky enough to be invited over to stay with her! lol  The rooms are fantastic!!

The suite has not one but TWO bathrooms...a his and hers!  I find this to be the greatest thing since sliced bread...I can do make-up...he can go potty and read the paper...and at the same time! lol  The hair dryers are also pretty cool...they pack a lot of punch for being so little!  Loved them so much that we called downstairs to see if we could buy one and low and behold...it only set me back like $20 some-odd dollars.  Who knew!?  The beds are firm yet soft enough that you sink right in...can't beat a good night's sleep.

Drinks in the bar are also quite tasty...pricey...like $18 a piece pricey.  But you're paying for the ambiance so suck it up people.  Chances are you'll see a celeb or two so if you have someone in from outta town...take 'em here for a bevvie.

What a great hotel.  The location is perfect, so many restaurants and shops nearby.  Hotel town car will drive you to local spots if you don't feel like driving in the crazy L.A. traffic.   The Windows lounge has  great drinks and even better people watching.  On our recent trip we discovered how many great local parks and playgrounds  are really close to the hotel.  The service is the best part.  Always friendly, helpful. They always remember you also.  Even with all the celebritries and wealthy people there your always treated the same.  The last time we pulled in there was a line of papparazi out front, so we felt a little funny pulling in driving the Camry..... oh well.  One day it will be a Porsche or Landrover, until then we can dream.
