Overall I have to say that their food isn't the worst but it is towards the bad side. I wouldn't really recommend this place to anyone unless they are absolutely desperate for a meal and the other buffets nearby are closed by then. The food itself is actual sort of decent, however, the first time I got fried rice it had an awkward spicy taste to it. This place obviously isn't the kind of place you want to go to if your on a diet considering the fact the most of the trays have a puddle of fat and grease. I would have to say the most unhealthy thing here is their donut balls which to me seem like a grease sponge covered in sugar. The price in recent years has also gone up which is also another turn away, but they do have a special for kids under a certain age are only $.99 with any adult. I do have to admit that is a pretty good deal, if the regular adult price was much lower. As for the restaurant it's definitely not the cleanest but does show some signs of cleanliness. Ultimately if your looking for a good buffet I definitely wouldn't recommend this place. Your better off going to the hometown buffet across the street or fresh choice. Both are about the same price if not lower and fresh choice does offer plenty healthier alternatives. If your still wanting to go to a chinese buffet I highly suggest going to jumbo buffet which is about a 5-7 min drive away. It may cost a little more but they do have a huge selection of quality food. If you do decide to come to four seasons, there food is not completely hopeless but don't get your hopes up.

I agree with Jovi C. The first time I ate here was the last. Food was on the cool side and one of the chicken dishes was undercooked, yuck. Their noodles were not totally cooked, anyway tasted like that to me. There wasn't very much to choose from and very little in the pans.
If there would have been 10 people in the place there wouldn't have been enough food to feed them all.
It's been some time since I was there so maybe they have improved but, I'm not willing to find out. -

I try not to eat anywere but the Chicken Barn / Foster Farms when I'm in Modesto (which is pretty rare these days), but unfortunately for me, my mom wanted me to take her to this place.
If I could give this zero stars, I would. The food, on steam trays, was NOT HOT. Barely warm. Second, it's a Chinese Buffet, right? For some reason all the tables had Mexican hot sauce as the condiment of choice. This was probably a big shining sign to me that this place was going to suck, but I tried to ignore it and make the best of it.
The food itself is swimming in grease or deep fried. I know, I know. This is a Chinese Buffet. It's $7 per person. What was I expecting? I was expecting at the very least, I wouldn't be totally disgusted.
To add to my horrendous experience here, I went to the ladies restroom. Inside, I found one of the waitresses in there fixing her hair. There were two bathroom stalls. The first, was disgusting. Toilet not flushed, cleaned, and paper toilet seat covers everywhere. The second stall (the handicapped) was open, and when I peeped in there, there was a MALE cook (paper hat and all!) sitting on the toilet going to the bathroom!! WTF?!
I turned right around and left. I am so grossed out by this place. If the COOK... the dude who prepares the food... is so freaking lazy and disgusting that he goes into the ladies bathroom and takes a crap and doesn't even close the stall... I don't want to know what he does with the food. -

OK so my husband and i went here one night because it had been like 5 months since we ate Chinese. We got there and there where only people at two tables in the whole place. Should have been the first sign but we where hungry and it was there. I then noticed everything was floating in oil including the vegetables which is just wrong. All the food was pre fabricated out of a Costco freezer hell they did not bother to take it out of the Costco packages on some things. I was so heart broken when i came here a few years ago it was great food was hot service was on spot. Not the food was cold and the service was rude. There where about 4 pans on the buffet line that where empty when we got there and did not get refilled by the time we left. I wish i could give this place so start cause it does not even deserve a one star. If u enjoy Chinese food steer clear of this place.

Im not a big fan of chinesse food, but i Love this place,. I like their chow-main their fried rice, and their shrimp. I think their prices are reasonable and i like it.
its not the cleansest place but the food is delicious (their orange chicken is great) I usually go in there and get a plate to go since im not a big eater, and if i stay in there i wont eat that much...so i recommend it. -

DO NOT EAT AT FOUR SEASONS BUFFET...unless you dont mind flies in your food and poor customer service. I would NEVER eat at this place again. Although the price was reasonable, the place was dirty and the food mediocre. When I pointed out the fly that had been marinating in the food, the waitress simply wisked my plate away without a single word and someone else returned with clean utensils...for what????? I didnt intend on placing not another morsel into my mouth. Upon leaving, the cashier gave us a measely $2.00 discount off the bill (for two paying customers) for having a fly in the food. To make matters even worse, they never changed out the food tray that had the fly simmering in it! Absolutely gross and disgusting...and I never even went into the bathrooms.
You've been warned... -

We had heard from a few people that this place was very good. So as we were driving by on the way to Imperial Gardens restaurant, I suggested to my wife, why don't we try the Buffet? BAD decision. First of all, I will say that the staff overall was pleasant. That's where the good ends. This meal was not inedible, but honestly was the worst tasting food I can remember ever having in a restaurant. It was like eating a meal in home ec in seventh grade on Asian food day, except worse. The sushi was tasteless, the hot and sour soup smelled like an old shoe, the sesame chicken was hard and tasteless. The highlights were the green beans (but they were almost cold) and the crab rangoon which was somewhat edible. Since it was a buffet, I kept trying something new figuring it had to get better. At about half way through the meal, I realized that it absolutely was not going to get better. By that time, I was regretting not going to Imperial Garden. I apologized to my wife and told her I owed her two meals because of this. also, it appeared to us that the night we were there that the only type of patrons there were ones that waanted "all you can eat" regardless of the quality of the food. Do yourself a favor and please don;t ever go here to find out that I am 100% right.

The food at this place is ok. The place could be much cleaner.the bathrooms are horrendus and the price isn't that bad for what you get. But its the going rate for these types of restaurants in the area.

Everyone who has made reference to the restrooms so far is right on the mark. They are absolutely disgusting!! With all the money these people rake in, you would think that they could spare some funds to renovate the facilities. The food is not bad as long as you go when it's busy. If you go during slow times or late at night the food is stale, cold, and runs out. Seating sucks too as it is cafeteria style instead of having indivdual tables.
