Great stay.
Recently had to go to chicago for a funeral. We used our SPG points to get a free room at the Four Points by Midway. This is not a "tourist friendly hotel" It's location is simply set up for business and stuck Midway airport passengers.
The folks at the front desk were quite wonderful. Very helpful and quick to please. The room was clean and spacious. The morning breakfast was delicious and cheap!
I would stay there again!

I stayed here despite the mixed reviews because I'm not picky about hotels I'm only staying at for one night to be near the airport. I got a $94 price, too. But it wasn't good at all. The staff was actually VERY nice, but the room had a weird smell to it, and the air conditioner was amazingly loud. Finally had to turn it off to get to sleep so was too hot.
You can only use internet (it's free) if you use Internet Explorer; they won't allow Firefox or any other browsers to work.
When I called from the airport to ask for the free pickup I was cheerily told, "We're sending them off right now" but they arrived 22 minutes later . . . and it's only about 5 blocks from the airport. Next time I'll spend an extra $10 bucks and be able to sleep.
As for the food, well, it's like Denny's except more expensive.
Even when there are nicer hotels this place deserves 5 stars because it really doesn't do anything wrong.
Why do I like this hotel?
1. Free internet in the rooms (why the hell do more expensive hotels charge me an arm and a leg for pay by the day internet?!)
2. Two PCs with free internet in the lobby with printers. Good stuff.
3. Cheap and tasty hotel food! Bloody hell this never happens. I happened to be starving when I got in from my flight and decided to go with the old favorite, chicken fingers and fries.
I thought I was gonna get some over breaded, flash frozen, mass produced chicken globules. Instead I think I got some of the best chicken fingers I've ever had in my life. Apparently this is one of the things they actually make in house and they are damn good. Very lightly breaded and not oily at all. Yum.

This place is a Motel 6 with a Sheraton sign. Having stayed here twice now, I will stay at one of the Marriott properties up the street. A/C doesn't work, Front desk would have to show marked improvement just to be considered incompetent.
As a very frequent traveller (over 200 hotel nights a year), I get to experience a wide variety of properties. This is the 2nd worst in 5 years (The Sheraton FourPoints at SFO is the absolute worst).
I haven't tried the food, but then again, I don't go to a hotel to eat.
As far as staying? Lobby has a funky odor about it. Hallways are dirty. Rooms are dingy. A/C is 50/50. 5 minute warm-up period for the shower (which is very low pressure anyway). They don't recognize SPG. And will fail to give you the room type you reserve.
Like I said, a Motel 6 with a Sheraton sign.
The Four Points Sheraton has great breakfast, lunch and dinner meals. It's an okay hotel with great food!
This is an okay hotel. The hotel lobby isnt too great. But the ballroom here is nice for a grad party or nice dinner. Also, I tried their breakfast here and it was really good.
