After 2 different friends recommended this place I had to try it. They have four types of burgers or you can get a hotdog.
I had a regular cheese burger cooked medium well. Delicious! Best burger I've ever had. Juicy! I love that you have a choice of wheat or white bun. I chose white because it has seeds on top.
The fries were pretty good. Not greasy at all.
I went here after buying a BuyWithMe coupon, thinking it was Five Guys Burgers & Fries (don't ask me why), but it ended up being a good mistake!! I got the Turkey Burger, my husband got the Regular one and we shared a large order of 1/2 regular fries, 1/2 sweet potato.
Including a shake and soda, I think it came to like, exactly $25, which was what my coupon was for! That is pricey for 2 burgers, an order of fries and 2 drinks, but it's about par with other similar places (Wild Willy's, Franky N the Boys, etc.).
I like the concept and they have a HUGE toppings menu. The burgers were very good and the fries were tasty - a large is HUGE though! Definitely more than enough for 2 people!
Went to "Four Burgers" on Friday night for the first time. Inside is really cute. You can choose to have a regular cheese/hamburger, salmon burger or turkey burger.
I had a cheeseburger with pepperjack cheese. You can also choose what kind of cheese you want. Which I thought was a great idea. I asked for the burger to be medium well..it definitely was not.
I ordered sweet potato fries. They really weren't that good. They were not crispy and more rubbery. Lacking definite taste. I was a little disappointed. I'm giving it three stars because the staff was extremely nice and my two friends liked their burgers. One had a cheeseburger and one had a salmon burger and she said: "This is really good!"
It took me a while to get to this place, despite the fact that I live a mere 3 blocks away. I dig the look and feel -- half diner, half cafe with a local twist. I also like the concept -- pick a few basics, make them healthy and delicious. I give 4 stars for efficiency/speed, 5 for location. So what was wrong? The food was just so-so. I got the salmon burger with soy mayo and simple sesame slaw, and it was dry and not flavorful (read: I found myself thinking it could be improved by some ranch dressing). I'd consider cutting them some slack, but c'mon, you're only making four things. They should be awesome. I'll probably give Four Burgers place another shot due to the location alone, but I won't be rushing back.
I went in here recently and ordered a turkey burger, 1/2 and 1/2 fries (1/2 potato fries, 1/2 french fries) and a beer and it came to $15. The portions were HUGE- tons of fries and the burger was huge. My friend's burger was very undercooked, FYI.
I just don't get the rave reviews. If you're in the area and don't mind dropping the $$, go for it- but there are better and cheaper burgers to be had elsewhere.
I ordered a cheeseburger with fries when I tried this place and got some of the worst fries I've ever had. They were mostly over-fried odds and ends. The fries were also hard and tasteless. Having them about a inch long didn't help either.
The cheeseburger was barely decent, and not worth $7+. It was a fairly small patty and the taste wasn't exactly outstanding, lacking a real grill flavor.
So when I complained about the fries, the waiter apologized and offered to replace them. Well, I only got a hold of him at the end of my meal! No one came to me for lilke 15 minutes when I pretty much wrote a sign of my face that said "I'm done!" Although I barely ate the fries, I was pretty full anyway and replacement fries would've been useless. He did, after a while, offer to refund my food, but I wasn't really interested in that then and just wanted to leave.
I noticed everyone else's fries looked more inviting so maybe I was just dealt a bad hand. However, that really says something about their quality control. Definitely the prices do not justify the product.
Tasty time in burger town! Love it! This place is fab - nice addition to the neighborhood. Little known fact that they should make Known is they try to use all local ingredients with their burgers and toppings. Represent for Locally Grown! WOO WOO!
Certainly worth it to check out - I had the turkey burger with cranberry compote, topped with lettuce and smoked Gouda. Also had the split with regular and sweet potato fires. Only downside - wish i had gotten a pickle.
Will def be going back. Thanks!
First time at Four Burgers and was not disappointed at all.
Half Half Fries (Half Regular Potato Fries and Sweet Potato Fries), cut thin and fried to perfection. Their fries were crispy and pretty addictive.
Veggie Burger, with some kind of salsa and guacamole on whole wheat roll. Delicious
Cheese Burger, according to my husband was good.
Definitely not your average burger joint, can't wait to go there again to try other things.
Truly unimpressive. I had a cheeseburger and fries, which were not actually horrible, per say... they just weren't very good, and far too expensive. I spent the whole time thinking about how much I like Uburger.
Hubby and I went over the weekend and enjoyed, with a couple caveats.
1. The veggie burger was very good (save #2 below)
2. The guacamole was too salty and ruined the taste of the veggie burger (but I could still tell the patty was nice)
3. Fries were pretty good but I like the ones at BGood more
4. A little pricey
5. Service was fine, and didn't make me mad
6. Hubby ate his hamburger and he's very very picky
We'll definitely go back and I'll just be sure to not get guac on the veggie burger
three stars is a bit of a stretch, but not entirely unwarranted.
the cheeseburger, fries, and beer i had were certainly filling, especially after a long, hectic day at work. but it wasn't anything particularly fantastic. i might just feel this way because it wasn't what i was craving (i had an epic address fail and went to the wrong mass ave address), but even if i had been craving a cheeseburger instead of the original idea, i would have probably ended up somewhere else. what i had wasn't un-tasty, just nothing to write home about.
I came here once this past summer, while I was working in Central Square and I forgot to bring my lunch to the office. I really enjoyed my beef burger. It was juicy and tasty, with a yummy side of crispy fries. I remember the service took some time. I found it interesting that they offered little bottles of wine there. Who says a burger can't be casual, yet classy?
The fact that they offer 4 basic burgers went completely over my head until I got back to the office and was looking at the little menu that you can pick up from the counter.
Overall, I would recommend this place if you were craving a burger for lunch and were in the area, but it's definitely not a place you go out of the way for.
I was going to wait until I'd eaten all four types of burgers to write a review, but I just can't.
I had the burger. It's a special burger. It's not that there's anything certain that makes it so special, and that's the point. It's just all kinds of beefy goodness.
Then I had the salmon burger. It's not so much a burger, as a salmon steak prepared some sort of slaw, mayo & lettuce on a home made rolls. Equally delicious.
Still have two more burgers to go. But I'm sure they'll be as good as the first two.
Loved their burger. Although ....I don't have burgers very often so maybe I was all crazy-meat-deprived......But really....cheeseburger was delicious, as were the sweet potato fries. I went on about it all night. Super casual but very good quality food
Pumpkin ale also a plus =)
Four Burgers...perhaps you should work on making four tastier burgers. The concept is cool, you only choose from 4 types of burgers then customize it with whatever toppings you want. But no matter how big a burger you build, it doesn't make up for the lack of flavor.
I came here with a friend who also commented that he remembered it to be much better before so maybe it was a fluke coincidence that we both had an ehhh experience. I got a cheeseburger with swiss, carmelized onions, mushrooms, bbq sauce and a side of sweet potato fries. The patty was really lacking some type of seasoning...or at least SALT. Ok, and what's up with those fries? They are about 1 inch long and really small. I mean, they taste ok but I like to shove my fries in my burger and those mini fries kept falling out!
I guess the one redeeming factor is that you can pre-order your burger online for pick-up. And the place is cute, kind of small, but like the 2 stars say...Meh, I've had better.
I have to give this place five stars for consistency.
I'm writing this sitting in one of their brushed aluminum chairs, enjoying my 48239th refill of diet coke, digesting yet another delicious veggie burger. My sprained thumb isn't balloon sized because they helped me fashion a cold pack out of some of their to-go bags.
Admittedly I've only ever been able to try their vegan burger, because I'm vegan, but that shit is delicious. My boyfriend gets the meat burger, with cheese, and he says it's delicious. My mother always reminds me of the time I took her here and she got the salmon burger-- also delicious.
And the fries!! I hated fries until I tried the fries here.... they're delicious. I actually didn't like the sweet potato fries as much as the normal ones but w/e.
It's slightly expensive, but I'm willing to pay for such a pleasant atmosphere, pleasant workers, and consistently DELICIOUS food. [also, wifi?]
Ever crave a giant, juicy cheeseburger with pepper jack? I definitely do from time to time, and only four burgers can satisfy the hunger. Hailing from the midwest farm country, all I can say is that they know their way around a cheeseburger. I always get a cheeseburger with pepper jack, fries, and a root beer. It is my own half hour of heaven.
Only once have I strayed, attempting a slightly more slimming salmon burger instead of my usual beefy goodness. I can say that with the salmon, I was not necessarily impressed. That's the only reason for the three stars - of the only two burgers I've tried, one was very blah and bland while the other was magnificent.
I gave it three stars but I'm definitely going to say give it a shot before you judge it. I can't speak for the veggie or turkey burgers, but I can say that upon every visit I leave the place one happy carnivore!
I am definitely not a burger person, but these guys dress up burgers in very delicious ways. I got a turkey burger/sandwich with caramelized onions and cranberry chutney which was pretty darn good. That with a beer and a little of the Monday Night Football game which was on at the time made this a nice little stop for the evening, after I had initially just planned on ordering take-out.
What's the point of choices if they're all mediocre?
That's pretty much how I feel about Four Burgers in Central. The burgers are nothing special and they're clearly not hand-made. The fries aren't very tasty either and never seem to be cooked correctly; usually under-cooked. On my last visit I couldn't eat more than few of the sweet potato fries cause they were so soggy and gross.
The staff doesn't seem phased by any of this since they spend most of the time on their phone with more important people (one can only assume). Yeah, I know your workin at a burger joint but at least pretend to care. I gave Four Burger repeated chances but three strikes and they're out.
A solid two stars here. Which is still a fair review. It's certainly on the lower end of burger joints in Boston, but I'd definitely come back. The ratings on Yelp aren't accurate enough because really a 3 means great and 4 and 5 are just extra credit. So again, 2 is still good.
1. Beware of hipsters running the joint. Skinny jeans and scowls abound.
2. I got a cheeseburger, fries and a soda $11.00
3. I ordered a large soda and got a small. And there weren't to go cups...I needed to take pills later and wasn't about to pill up at a burger joint in front of a packed house!
4. I ordered the burger medium well. It was completely pink all the way through and leaked a bloody squirt when I bit in. This is closer to medium rare on it's bloody/rare side, so the cooking was definitely off.
5. The fries were the highlight of the meal. They were cooked well and were not too crispy despite being shoestring style, which are usually my least fave.
I'd defnitely come back. The prices are too high and the food could use some tweaking, but overall it was a pleasant experience. I'd never go if I were in a rush. It took over 20 mins to get the order and there was maybe one person in line before me.
This place was an a-ok find. I was looking for a place with a beer and a burger and they sure do have it. Here is what I liked and didn't like about the place.
What I liked:
I was impressed with the vegan burger they had there. Its taste was unique, not like other veggie burgers you would get anywhere else from my experience. The food was fresh and the beef patties were excellent in taste as well as the guacamole. The atmosphere was clean which a big deal to me as well.
What I didn't like:
I didn't get the veggie burger, my girlfriend did. I got a cheeseburger which I wasn't to impressed with compared to money you spend. For the price you pay at this place you figure their burgers would be pretty big, but it was a little bigger than a BK whopper (yea Boston can be expensive but still). The "handcut" fries were pretty dinky and wet, I like my fries fried.
Basically for a burger joint this place gets pretty expensive real quick. Having the fries come with the burger would be an incitement for me to return.
The caramelized onions were clutch. The overcooked meat after asking for medium rare was not. Too bad since it could've been an excellent cheeseburger otherwise. Maybe next time I'll go all out and ask for rare. I should also try the fries. Those looked pretty good.
When it comes to burger places that are in walking distance to my home, this place is king. When this place first opened I was hopeful, once I had my first bite I was laudatory. These are some quality patties. Don't confuse this with a Five Guys knockoff (where one of the 5 guys were actually knocked off); rather, this place revolves around the concept of simplicity. Simple ingredients, simple choices, delicious result. There are 4 (5) burger choices: Beef, Black Bean, Turkey, and Salmon. You pick the toppings (cheese, caramelized onions, jalapenos, etc.). Now that you understand lets talk turkey (or in this case beef).
Base price of the burger is about $7 (add extra to make it a double). Yeah that may sound significantly more than what you would pay at Wendy's, but you are paying for quality--a hamburger is a work of art, and these guys are artists. Take a minute to think on this: there are a lot of expensive bars out there with mixologists, and you are willing to pay more for that, well this is the ground beef, salt, pepper, and on occasion egg and bread crumb version of that. Personally I go with Pepper Jack, caramelized onions, some bbq sauce, and perhaps a little chutney if I'm in the mood. The fries are not thin cut so they taste a little different, but not in a bad way. Also did I mention sweet potato fries? Well I should have.
The place is small with a few tables and a young hipster wait staff that double as everything else that would be involved in a restaurant, so think informal when it comes to service. The outside seating is welcome on a nice day/night, though you need to be wary of the people in Central Square (see review of Central Square).
Bottom Line: The BEST Central Square has to offer, possibly Cambridge too.
My burger at Four really hit the spot. I had one at a Stylefixx event last month. It was delicious so I made my way over to the shop for one again and the real experience.
Around 8pm on a Thursday night it was packed. We ordered a Brandt cheeseburger and a salmon burger. For fries we got a small regular and small sweet potato side. Then waited at one of the last open tables. Orders were moving promptly. There were people waiting on the side for takeout then in about 15 minutes our order was done. They called your number and brought it to the table. When it arrived I noticed there was no cheese on it so brought it to the front and the guy quickly added cheese then melted it and brought it back to me. My burger was delicious. Some people complain about the $7 price but its very high quality meat. Juicy but not greasy. My boyfriend said the salmon burger was fantastic. My sweet potato fries were ok. They were very thin and crispy. If they were thicker I would of liked them more.
Service was friendly. They were staffed enough that tables were cleaned immediately after people left and they could bring your order to you without a problem. Burgers were $7-$8 each and small side of fries was only $1.50 each. Yes, there are only 4 burgers on the menu. I'm looking forward to trying the turkey burger next.
So I've been back to Four Burgers a few different times, and my biggest problem is reliability. I could order the exact same meal 5 times a week and end up with varying degrees of success.
The beef burger is generally the most consistent - moist, flavorful, and cooked to taste (most of the time). The turkey burger is good when it's fully seasoned but can definitely be bland otherwise. The cranberry chutney is an awesome addition, tart and flavorful. The fries are not cut evenly, so each order can include some thin, overcooked, crispy strips and some thicker, squishy, potato-y goodness. So I might not beat down the door to get in here, it's a worth a try every few months.
P.S. My apologies to the nice redhead working the counter who tried to ask me out. I'm awkward, and should have just told you I had a boyfriend. But then again, if there was place for me to stand while waiting for my to-go order that wasn't the front counter, I might have saved us both the embarrassment.

I loved this place when I went just after it first opened. The staff was helpful, friendly, and attentive. A free handful waffle chips/fries with my burger justified the slightly higher prices of the burger, and was the perfect amount - enough to satisfy my craving, not enough to feel guilty about.
The burger remains high quality and delicious. But it's now more expensive and the handful of waffle chips is no longer included, making me feel cheated.
The wait staff is no longer good, and it seems as though they're doing me a favor by taking my order.
The brownies remain to die for. And too much for one person!
I went to Four Burgers last night, giving it a second chance from my initial underwhelming meal where I found the burger cooked decently though a bit under-seasoned, and a tray of so-so fries.
Unfortunately, this second time was a miss as well and I don't think I'm going to make the mistake of allowing it a third strike: I got the cheeseburger and waffle crisps to go and decided to try some of their additional toppings (pickled jalapenos and their special sauce). Maybe fate was telling me to review the basic cheeseburger, because they forgot to put in my extras.
With all the other better and comparable burger options in Central Sq. like The Tavern next store, Miracle of Science and Middlesex Lounge down Mass Ave., I think your burger money is better spent elsewhere.
Now that I work in the area I've become somewhat of a Four Burgers regular. What can I say, the place has grown on me.
Don't get me wrong - I still balk at paying $7 for a veggie burger when that's double what a package of veggie burgers costs, but I've at least figured out the recipe for making the burger palettable (load up on condiments), and they do a good job with the salad and chips here. Plus I like the idea that it's slow fast food and that they serve adult beverages.
The customer service has quickly turned this at first underwhelming joint into a place with a nice neighborhood/small business feel.
I'll continue to go there because it's an easy place for me to grab food with my meat eating colleagues or boyfriend and know that everyone will be happy with what they're served.

Not a place I'd bring a date, but for a date with a burger ... yes.
I appreciate the simplicity of the establishment and yet you get to choose not from one or two typical burger types (beef or veggie), but four! If you're feelin' healthy, get the vegan black bean or the salmon burger. If you're feelin' like you need some poultry with substance, chomp on the turkey burger. If you want to get your ultimeat on, then opt for the beef.
How'd They Taste, You Ask ...
I ordered the salmon, feeling adventurous, and personally didn't enjoy too much. Not that it was bad, it was fine, but I realized quickly that ... meh ... I'm just not a huge salmon fan. Perhaps with a dollop of the wasabi mayo next time.
I stole half my friends' black bean burger, which I found to be quite delightful. Moist, meaty, pulled together, and flavored with some cumin (mayhaps?), which kept me wanting more... (keep your comments to yourself, friend.)
Four Burgers is clean, the guys and gals in the back know how to cook the burgers they serve, service with a smile, quick service as well, and moderate prices. Of course beer is a key component for full beer enjoyment (in my mind) and they have some lovely offerings. Other key components are fries (both slim hand cut and sweet potato): check; milk shakes: check; and free refill fountain soda: check.
And though the bathrooms are located downstairs, at least they have them!! [hint hint mr. bartleys]
My dining companion and myself walked in right behind a cycling team sponsored in part by Four Burgers, so we had to wait a crazy long time to order, and the whole time, our eyes were being assaulted by really brightly colored spandex. But I can't blame Four Burgers for mine and my friend's timing.
What I can blame them for was their timing. I ordered my burger, and then my friend ordered his. We sat at a table and a little while later, a waiter brought over my burger. Then he brought about half a dozen burgers out for the cyclists, and then he finally brought out my friend's burger. Why the kitchen didn't wait to make mine until they were making my friend's is a mystery to me, and I'd been left with two options: let my burger get cold or be halfway done with it before my friend finally got served. Uncool, Four Burgers, uncool.
Poor kitchen/service timing aside, the salmon burger was excellently spiced. Very tasty. The lemon-parsley vinaigrette for the mesclun salad, however, was bland. I finally just ate the plain greens; figured I'd save myself the calories if they were going to taste the same with or without the dressing.
My friend was very pleased with his turkey burger and the cranberry chutney that was served with it, and the handcut potato chips were crispy, salty, and delicious.
It's important to me to find a burger that falls within my personal burger height limit without being overwhelmed by bun. Four Burgers accomplishes the task with a tasty little greasebomb beef patty, hooray! I was able to take a bite without locking my jaw and that alone earns them 3 stars.
The caramelized onions are a sloppy but delicious necessity. The first time I ate here, they were out of onions and it broke my heart. This time, the onions were everywhere, and even my clothes got to enjoy them.
The sweet potato fries are good stuff. We ordered a large to split but I ate the whole plate.
My only (minor) qualm was with the service when they mixed up the cheese orders. Our server tried to mask it by switching the plates, but my onion order threw off her plan.
This place is okay.
The burger was good. Much more sumptuous than I had been expecting (I was rather put off by the morose cashier girl; I think she was just tired, now that I think back on it).
My girlfriend's turkey burger (which I ate some of) was also quite good.
The prices suck, however. $7 for a cheeseburger. That's lame.
Plus, the fries were weird tasting. Not great.
This place is an interesting concept, but the fact that you serve four different types of burgers is not, by itself, justification for the prices.
There's something about this place that makes me want to give it fewer than Four Stars, but I was admittedly tired and feeling kind of meh at the time, and in retrospect, this was a pretty okay place.
I would go back again, I suppose. And the burgers are better priced than they would be at a fancier restaurant (and tastier, too). But the prices really make this place no bargain considering that this is supposed to be a little burger joint -- and therefore has lots of cheaper competition.
Four Burgers is the price you'll be paying for One burger.
Almost all the burgers here are overpriced. The burgers here are customed-made to your hungry appetite. The one positive thing about this place is the burgers are freshly made to order but so is Wendy's next door.
Lunch will set you back around $13 which comes with a burger, fries/chips and a drink. Another positive thing is free refills on drinks. I recommend getting fries instead of chips. The chips I got were two-month old Ruffles bag of potato chips.
Space is very, very limited. Finding a seat during busy lunch and dinner hours can be a challenge. So plan accordingly if you don't like standing and eating at the same time.
Overall this is not my ideal place to eat unless I had a fat wallet. However the prices does justify the location of this place but then again there's Wendy's next-door. If you're looking to splurge then this is the place but if you want a good burger with a cheap price...Go to Wendy's next door.
I had been wanting to try Four Burgers. When I finally did it was just "okay." Great place, good size, and polite staff.
But the burgers are just average. Cooked on the lighter side. Prices are on the high end for some things, particularly frappes/shakes which are $5!
The best thing going are the fries, which are only $1.50 for a decent serving for one person. They encourage "half and half" whic h is half regular and half sweet potato. Simple menu is a plus.
I was not impressed at all the first time I went to four burgers, the burger was a little too salty for my taste buds. I had ordered a cheeseburger with cheddar and regular fries.
I decided to give it a second try (roommate loves this place), and it was a LOT better the second time around. The burger was good and cooked to my liking. The place is a little pricey, expect to pay around $10 for the meal. Maybe it was just a first bad experience, but haven't been here much so can't rationalize further hence my 2 stars...River Gods down the street has a much tastier burger, no joke!
Give it a shot, its worth trying it for yourself. The place has a cool layout, only 4 burgers to choose from plus they have nifty aluminum chairs to sit on while you eat.
I've dined here on three occasions, with varying levels of health consciousness. The first time was around the time it opened a year or so ago, and I had the basic hamburger. Very tasty, moist, done to near perfection, and accompanied by some tasty fries. More recently, I had a veggie burger, which I am admittedly no connoisseur of... it tasted ok, but the texture was a bit clay-like, and not something I was used to (but I am used to frozen ones... not fresh ones. I am very influenced by texture, and so I've not been able to bring myself to reorder this.
About a week ago, I tried the turkey burger on whole wheat with a side Mesclun salad. The turkey burger was amazing... truly! It was so moist and flavorful, and the lettuce and tomato on top were very fresh and delicious as well. The salad was ok, though the lemon dressing was nothing to write home about.
It's not a very large place, so you don't want to go here with more than. say, three friends, but it's adequate for a few and the staff are friendly enough. The prices are a bit on the high side. Don't be surprised to spend nearly 15 dollars on a burger, fries and drink. It's a little much, so not something I'd do often. Also, true to its name, this place really does only have the four burgers on its menu (though I believe they have varying daily specials) so for finicky eaters or those not looking for some sort of burger variant, this is not the place to go.
High props for the tasty sweet potato fries!
Had a burger and some fries at Four Burgers.
Asked for medium rare, and by George it was. Overall it was a good burger, not superb, but just fine.
I normally like my fries well cooked, so the outsides are kinda chewy, but these were just a little too cooked for even me. They're cut very thin - if they were a tad thicker they'd be really quite awesome.
The burgers aren't cheap, but the fries are, so overall it's a good deal. There's a little public lot one street over, so parking isn't as bad as you'd think. Service was really very good for a burger joint.
A good choice.
In case you were wondering about the name, there are four possible burgers: beef, turkey, vegan black bean, and salmon.
In an effort to maintain my girlish figure (lie), I recently resolved to "quit" fast food. This basically means I refuse to give into that fat devil on my shoulder whispering "McChicken, Junior Bacon Cheeseburger....frossssssttyyyy" in my ear, except maybe on a very late drunken night.
Good thing four burgers is quick, greasy, and comes wrapped in those aluminum foil school lunch sheets and will satisfy my not-quite-fast food craving.
The beef is definitely quality, and I dig the serious selection of cheeses: blue, gouda, pepperjack, cheddar. The milkshakes are a whopping $5 a pop and didn't necessarily bring all the boys to the yard, but my chocolate frozen goodness still tasted pretty nice. I've also found their variety to induce turkey burger cravings.
I don't love spending eight bucks for a burger and fries-- or $13 if I need to placate my inner fat kid and go for the shake too-- but I do love that this food is quick, easy, and quality.
Four Burgers. Three Stars.
So far I've only had the salmon and turkey offerings. Both were pretty good. I definitely enjoyed the salmon burger more, and plan on going back for it since I don't know of anywhere else nearby where you can get such a thing, at least not as quickly and easily. I will, however, most certainly be dining in.
On one of the nicer days last week I decided I'd ride my bike here from Kendall Square for lunch. I was happy to see that you could order online, but unfortunately the experience was not great. The actual ordering part was easy, though I would've liked to see a place to leave notes or special instructions for you order (like "no tomato please"). The turkey burger I ordered is described on the menu as "Turkey Burger $7.00 - apple & cranberry chutney, lettuce, tomato," but the finished product lacked the chutney (which I was really looking forward to). In addition, the sweet potato fries didn't travel well, and ended up cold and soggy by the time I was back at the office. The cold part is understandable, but I would have preferred them to be a bit crunchier. I had previously tried the regular fries when I ate in, and those were pretty good.
Good food, convenient location, not overly expensive, but the online ordering system could use some tweeking.
Things I LOVE about Four Burgers:
-Organized, clean, and simple but not lacking decor -- love the photographs on the wall of the good old days when coffee was a nickel and burger joints were all drive-thru....
-Great menu concept where you know you have one of four basic choices and you can then do what you want as far as toppings from there -- leaves more time to enjoy the goods, rather than looking over long, complicated menus.
-Fast service, patient staff, smiles behind the counter.
Things I don't exactly love:
-Two dinners (specifically: salmon burger with mushrooms and cheese and a beef burger with bacon and cheese, both on wheat buns), two orders of fries, no drinks, no dessert = $22.00
-The immediate stomach problems that occurred directly after. Both of us had similar reactions, and while I have a more sensitive stomach, he certainly doesn't, and that was a little scary.
